HTC EVO 4G :: How To Get Gps On / Off Icon From One Of Home Screens?
Jun 5, 2010I accidentally removed the gps on off icon from one of my home screens and cant find it anywhere. does anyone know how to bring it back up?

Jul 7, 2010Two things I'd like to be able to do with my incredible.First is reduce the number of homescreens. Seven is really pointless for me, it makes finding the right screen take a little longer and there's just not enough good quality widgets that I need to use. I could do better with 5 and possibly just 3.Second is that when I'm not on a homescreen and I hit the home button, I'd like it to go back to the LAST homescreen I was on, not the center one. And if I'm already on a homescreen, once again pull up the homescreen select menu, instead of going to the center homescreen. It's a waste of a button press to always go to that center screen when pressing the home button.

Home screen = places where you put widgets/applications, shortcuts...There is one main home screen (with clock, weather and some apps) + 6 additional screens where you also put apps and widgets.

When I was on the main home screen, the phone switched over to all three of the left home screens on its own (it switched to these home screens one after another). I just want to ask though how other people set up their home screens (I'm seriously lacking imagination) I'd like to know of what widgets & apps are must hav's!Also, I have dedicated my far left screen as a 'car' screen which i've got a music widget on and google navigation icon... I'm after some other really good apps to use while being out in the car and while travelling around the country, any suggestions?One more thing, I'm after a car cradle to use the navigation, but the speaker on the phone is really quiet... is there a satnav with a speaker built in, or can you get cigarette lighter powered bluetooth speakers? I only want to be able to hear what the phone's satnavs saying really.

Nov 19, 2010I cannot see any of my screens. I just see a black screen. The screen has no background but it is black but lit up or active [not black like when it is off though]. No response to hitting any of the 4 buttons[home,menu,return, search]. I only get a response when I hold down the home key. A message pops up saying 'Recent Apps' and 'No recent apps'. I'm wondering if it is trying to respond but bogged down with an app.
This all started after I installed a Koi screen saver. The screen saver works and lets me close the screen saver but goes to a blank screen. Don't see anything. Sound rocker responds, power button works, I even heard mail arriving. Feel pretty dumb.

Jun 17, 2010I have an HTC Incredible and I noticed what appears to be protected blocks on one of the home screens. The home screen has only a couple of programs on it that take up 1 block. When I tried to move the location of one of the programs, I noticed there is a 1x2 vertical strip that is blank that is just to the top right of center that won't allow me to place anything. There is no reason why I shouldn't since there is plenty of room on the screen. Could there possibly be something hidden there? All i see is the background and touching that region does nothing.
