Starting on Sunday, I have noticed that I am having appointments missing on my calendar. Actually, it is my wife's calendar that is shared. They are not all missing, only some. Also, I have confirmed on a computer that the appointments are actually there. Is this a new issue? Is there something I can do to remedy it?

I've been using my Desire for a few weeks with the Calendar synced with my Google calendar, which I've added another calendar to through it's URL - this showed my lectures for Uni. Yesterday, my seminars were added to the Uni calendar and so are now automatically on my Google calendar but now, on my phone, the lectures have disappeared and only the seminars are shown... It's all there properly on Google but not my phone so I'm a bit confused.
View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen I have a new event come up I add it to my phone so I dont forget it, with my Blackberry when I was at an appointment I would add notes and sync it, my office could see my notes in my Google calender and act accordingly. I noticed yesterday the 2 appointments I have this week are NOT showing up in my Google calender on the web. I have the sync set up auto, calender and gmail boxes checked in settings, what am I missing. This is causing me scheduling conflicts and I cant leave it like this.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have several Google Calendars that I sync with my DROID Incredible running 2.1 update 1. One of my calendars recently quit showing up its data, although I have it selected on the phone AND all data displays fine on Google Calendars. I have tried reselecting some of the other calendars in case Android had a max number it would display. I have deselected and reselected the calendar on Google thinking that may refresh it but still no luck. Funny thing is, the calendar used to show up fine. Don't know when I lost it exactly. Any ideas?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI posted this in the HTC Desire Tips and Tricks forum but think that may have been the wrong place, so trying here.I entered a years worth (2011) of appointments in Google calendar; mainly on Sundays but a few other days as well.I then left the automatic sync with my HTC Desire to update the phone.I was then looking at the appointments when I noticed that some had not synced. These are all those whose date in 2011 is later than this years date e.g. an appointment in Google for Sunday 20th November 2011 has synced to my Desire but the appointment from 27th November 2011 has not;nor have those for the rest of the Sundays in 2011.Over the two last days I have also done several manual syncs and rebooted phone.Some weeks ago I entered an appointment for 2012 and this has synced. I also brought forward a lot of appointments from my Palm TX, most for 2010 but one for July 2015, and these all synced.
Today I added two more appointments. On before 24th November 2011 and one after; the one before synced but the one after did not. I have also deleted one of the missing appointments from Google and re-entered it; still not on my Desire even after a manual sync.Is it possible that the Desire has a limit of say the number of entries or only one years worth from today's date (that does not explain the 2012 and 2015 appointments synced at an earlier time!)This morning I entered a further appointment for today and that has synced to my Desire. The others still not have.I also sync Google Calendar to Outlook on my Desktop; this has synced correctly.
I have had my Desire for about a month now. All of a sudden, it isn't syncing one of my google calendars (i have 3, all on the same account, and the other 2 are shown)I have gone into the settings of the calendar, and the missing calendar is listed and ticked. However, nothing is shown on the calendar on the phone (there are events if i check it online).

Having checked the online calendar everything is present and correct but not showing on my Nexus. Also in the status area at the top of the phone, is there a tool that shows a bar for CPU usage? Finally, is there anywhere where brainstorms/ideas and changes to apps can be raised? Apols i don't know what the official HTC/Android site is. Had a fish but its really not very clear! Is Android a free development OS like maemo or is it owned by google therefore all control goes through them?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI can forget my own appointments without help, thank you. I hate having a smart phone alert me of an appointment with a phone call asking "Where there hell are you?" It's a "known issue." How comforting. The only workaround I have found is post-it note on the screen and pencil. My G1 may become a paperweight. If Google has enough resources to have a vice-president for climate change, get into the phone and energy businesses, and be VERY political, perhaps they could apply some of those resources to making Google Calendar dependable. What a joke.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have configured my phone to connect to my Microsoft Exchange server and when the calendar syncs all the appointments are 30 minutes early. I have connected to a second exchange account on a different site and it does the same. I have checked the timezones and they are correct. Also the default purple with black text is drive me nuts so any suggestions on changing this would be great.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOne of the things I miss the most from my iPhone is being able to dial directly from my Calendar appointments. When I was discussing this in the Android Lounge, some people made it seem like they do that all the time. Does anyone here know if this can be set up some how on the Captivate. Or do you need to use a different calendar or something? By dialing direct I mean you are on the item in your calendar, and you can just click a number in the notes and the dialer comes up without having to copy and pasted the number over to the dialer.

I am a therapist and need the calender not only to make reoccurring appointments, but I often need to change one of the occurrences while keeping the rest in tact. Is this possible to do with the Eris? When I went to the Verizon store, they told me the calender wasn't that sophisticated and that I should stick with my Blackberry.

Just having some issues with syncing my outlook contacts and calendar appointments.
I googled it and followed these instructions: HTC Desire - Using HTC Sync
I used the HTC Sync installer that�s in the supplied microSD card to install but that didn't work so I have downloaded latest HTC Sync But when I get to the next step, "Setting up HTC Sync to recognize your phone" the instructions are:
First of all, step 1. seems pretty pointless coz you go to that part of the phone and don't make any changes. When I get to step 2 I can do what the instructions says but the phone doesn't attempt to find the HTC sync on my computer, it does nothing. I don't get a message saying its unable to find the computer, i can change the setting to HTC Sync and click done and thats all that happens.
Would love some help with this one, I've tried googling but can't find a difinitive answer to this issue.
Here are my details..
1.) Model Number: HTC Desire A8183
2.) Firmware Version: 2.1-update

I need a nice looking widget that I can put on my first homescreen that will show me calender appointments up to 2 weeks in advance. The 1x4 HTC calender widget on my Hero only shows events for today and tomorrow. I have tried Astrid but the widget is ugly. Are there any others? I would ideally like it to use the width of the screen and allow me to scroll through events.

But, on one of my panels I have a Calendar widget showing my future appointments. Since the update it only shows one week ahead where as before it showed about 2 months.
Is there a way to get it to show 2 months again?
I have a Droid Eris. I am using the calendar app (or widget?) that comes with the phone. I used to have a Palm that ran Palm OS, and the calendar had a function that would allow me to erase any calendar entries that were over a week old. I cannot figure out how to do this with the Eris. Is there a way to do a bulk erase that doesn't get rid of appointments that have yet to occur or that are repeated monthly/weekly? If not, can anyone suggest a GOOD calendar app that will allow that?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a client who I set up with a goggle calendar. He's a doctor, and uses his recurring appointments almost extensively. Currently, he's using a Blackberry, but because it is a private practice, he doesn't have a BES. Nor does he use EAS. Google's calendar sync with Blackberry is fuzzy at best (recurring appointments for some reason get put in as single appointments, so they EACH have to be manually edited/deleted), although I'm not sure who's at fault�nor do I care What I do care about is that I recommend a phone that has seamless recurring event sync with his goggle calendar. I figured any late-model Android phone would work, but I just wanted to make certain before he bought it. Does anyone here have any experience?
View 2 Replies View RelatedToday, I managed to sync. my Lotus Notes calendar with google calendar (after 2 days of turmoil)Then the notes events were displayed on google calendar but 6 hours ahead (like GMT) thought both calendars were set on the same time zone (CST).At this point, the calendar pad widget synced with google calendar and displayed all my lotus notes events 6 hours ahead as in the google calendar.I then changed my google calendar time zone to GMT so that my lotus notes events showed the correct time .But now, the calendar pad widget still shows the old google calendar events that was 6 hours off even after syncing.Can some one please help configure such that my lotus notes , google calendar and calendar pad widget all show the same events at same time (hopefully, maintaining the same time zone settings for all)
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm a new Droid Eris user and have been using Google Calendar for some time.I have a single calendar set up which is syncing with the Eris.I can successfully add/edit/delete entries from both applications and have them show up just fine on the other side.I have a couple of recurring entries that I've since deleted in Google Calendar but are still showing up on my Eris.The unique thing about both of these entries is that they were meeting requests sent to my Gmail address and accepted from there.They have since been cancelled from the original sender and are now removed from my Google Calendar.My calendar entries are labeled as dark blue, and these two show as light blue.I cannot select them on the Eris to edit or delete them.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAnyone else missing random meetings on your phone? I can't seem to find the pattern. Some have a URL, some just a con call #. Yet I can recreate test meetings with both and they come through the device. Here's what I've tried:
-I've remove the account and recreated it, but the problem remains.
-Upgraded to 2.2 OTA
-Rooted, installed CM6 and Virtuous 2.7, issue remained with both.
-Finally installed Touchdown, but the issue remains.
So after 6! years of Nokia 6230, I finally bought an android phone - HTC Desire. And while of course this is like switching from a Peugeot to a Porsche, there are still some functions i was unable to find / figure out so far! I'll number my questions and edit in your solutions, because I'm sure future users will have similar questions.1. a REAL event reminder (calendar): True, i can choose between different sounds that remind my when something in the calendar is due. However, it only lets me choose options like "Ascend", "Freeze", "Facebook pop" and others which at most last 5 seconds. What I need is something that keeps beeping until I turn it off, like an alarm clock, or at least beeps really loud for more than a minute! 2. I can only choose from default settings when i set when to remind me of an event (5 mins, 10 mins, 24h...), on my old phone i was able to set a custom remind date+time, like "the day before at 9.15pm"! I'm sure this is possible as well in the Android calendar?3.Also very annoying in Sense: If I choose to lock my screen and use a drawing pattern to protect it, I have to FIRST drag the bar down and THEN draw the pattern to unlock, which is kinda unnecessary and very annoying, because I'm locking and unlocking my phone really often. Is there a way to disable the "unlock bar"?
