Can i delete email on my Evo so that it does not delete it on my laptop. i have looked everywhere on this phone and cannot find a setting to do this.

Can anyone tell me how to remove / change / delete email details on the Hero. I'd like to start again from the begining putting in the details as its not working. Also my push gmail isn't working either! I've searched all the threads for help but found nothing, literally driving me crazy, feel like going back to my old phone.

I love it so far and I'm still on the upward slope of the learning curve, but I'm looking for an email client that I can use on my laptop that will sync with my phone. It's my work email and it is set up on Outlook on my Toshiba laptop (Windows 7 64bit) and through the default email client on the phone (it's just a POP3 account). The problem that i run into is that mail deleted or sent from one device is not reflected on the other.

The nice thing about my BlackBerry is that it gave you the option to "Delete from Handheld, or Delete from Handheld & Inbox". View 31 Replies View RelatedSomething weird just happened, all of a sudden when I open my Pop 3 email account on the Droid Inc., read it, then open the same email account on my computer prior to yesterday that email on the Droid Inc would disappear like I wanted it to. Now it remains on the Droid until I manually delete it. I looked on the manual and Internet but could not out how to change it back. One thing that did happen yesterday was I received the new Verizon Droid Inc OTA update Not sure of the update number but its the one that has Slacker Radio Addition. That may be the issue. Any thoughts.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was having trouble seeing all my saved mail on my AOL email setup through the Mail App. I tried deleting my AOL Email address so I could reinstall it. I started the process to delete it but it lock up during the process. The phone wouldn't respond to anything so I had to turn it off. When I turned it back on the Mail App shows I have emails but when I tap on it, it comes up to a screen that says choose a mail provider. Choices are Exchange Activesync or Other (POP3/IMAP). I choose Other (POP/IMAP), entered email address & password. It came up to a warning screen (an account with the email address already exists. It doesn't allow me to complete the setup. It seems it deleted part of the email address setup but it still remembers the old setup. Is there anyway to totally delete this email address to start all over without resetting the phone?

I know it is possible to individually delete apps from my phone/tablet, but for the love of all things telephony, once you delete an app it takes you back to the frickin' top of the list. I thought there would be a simple way to do this by going to the Play Store on my laptop, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get rid of them. I realize it is not a big deal, but being the obsessive person that I am, once I try to do something.
When I log into my Google Play Store account on my laptop and go to "My Apps", it lists all the apps that I have ever downloaded, but there doesn't appear to be a way to delete them like there is on a device!
On my last phone with alltel, when I took a picture it would email it to me as well as save it to the phone. I have switch to verizon with a Moto Droid. Is there an App or a way to have each picture I take automatically emailed to my laptop email address? Not my gmail address. This way I wouldn't have to manually transfer the pics from the phone to the laptop.

I have been researching "remove second google account" on my incredible and nothing but factory format. Is this only way to delete/remove second google account from my phone? I'm using google Apps Standard Edition which is using my own domain name. Everything is ok till I add second gmail account like xxxx@gmail.com. I would like to remove it but, it said "This accont is required by some applicatins. you can only delete it by resetting the phone to factory defaults" Try kill all programs and try to remove it but, it didn't work. Call verizon and spoke with them two hours. they transfer me here and there and no solution but do a factory format.

However, the email app still has my email account setup in it.. I don't see a way to delete it. I've held down the account, but no context menu shows up.. there's no delete function apparently.. I'd add another account to test with, but I'm afraid I won't be able to delete that either!
