Just tried to update my Evo to the 2.2 for the new client initiated test bed they are doing today at 12p CST....and I hit the update button and it used to say none available and now it just goes back to the update screen and not say anything or update......anyone else get the update or know whats going on?

I can't play videos on YouTube. I have to sit there and click and click and click on them before they will play. "This video cannot be played" is displayed about 15 times before they will play. Before this upgrade, they played fine.

This has worked fine before but now I suddenly got 30-40 emails and lot of 1* because the app icon didn't work anymore. It said the program wasn't installed. If they went to "My Downloads" in the Android Market they could open the app just fine from there.I asked the users to reboot and that solved the issue for all of them. Four days later I had to update again and the problem reappeared for the users. 30-40 new emails and I am very concerned about pushing out new upgrades.This problem seemed to affect different devices but at least HTC Desire with 2.1 was affected.Is this an Android bug or related in some way to my Manifest file? I don't believe I have changed anything in the manifest lately to trigger anything like this.Hope someone can provide any assistance.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an old Samsung I-997 Infuse, running 2.2 Froyo, and rooted. After installing the latest YouTube version, my YouTube no longer works.. I'm guessing because of an incompatibility with the old Froyo version. When I try to view any YouTube, from the app. or even from the web, I get a simple announcement which states "An Error Occurred".I've tried the normal uninstall, reinstall. Is there a way to install an older version of YouTube?

However after I upgraded my droid phone to 2.2, I am finding that location services are not showing the correct location. Though the coordinates looks correct, it is showing my location as San Jose while I stay in Los Gatos. Therefore my local search query gives me result based on San Jose.
View 6 Replies View Relatedi just upgraded my Desire this morning, everything works except wifi, the update went smooth without any problem, once the update was done it started up fine, only thing i noticed was the Wifi didnt work, In Setting - Wireless network, it say ?unable to start Wi-Fi? under Wi-Fi.

One more thing i have noticed in setting-about phone-hardware information-under wi-fi mac address is unavailable. Whereas before upgrading it has a wifi mac address which i had noted down. Is it a driver issue? If yes how can i fix it.
When my hero was on 1.5, normal stereo headphones attached worked a-ok if I used the toggleheadset app. Now I have upgraded to 2.1, when I attach the headphones it automatically detects them but sends the volume down to vibrate... if I try to increase the volume using the volume switch it either tries to increase but forces it back down again or shoots up to maximum... Anyone else had this issue and how did you resolve it? I have removed the toggle app above, and I have restarted the phone. Also, when I attached the headphones sometimes the phone just goes into vibrate mode and stays that way... i.e. it just continoulsy vibrates until I press the home key.

Everytime I start the app it comes up with greyed out account and password field. I can not setup the account I had setup before. The user field says "null@vodafone.ie". I looked around in the settings trying to find a solution and found that the Baseband version is "Unknown". I need urgently a fix for this as I need the email for work.
I tried PC companion to upgrade/downgrade but when the upgrade engine starts it comes up with an error that it can not be started and I should contact Sony Ericson.

I bought LG VU II (F200L) in perfectly working condition, it almost new. After installing LG PC suite and connecting it said new firmware update is available so I proceeded which was done successfully but since then touch screen is not working properly.
Usually it responds ok but main issue is back button is not working anymore, and sometimes when I press power button to unlock screen it responds very weird and not so responsive as well as sometimes doesnt responds or opens apps that I havent even clicked.
I tried to restore, emergency restore, LG Flash tools and used correct KDZ files to flash roms successfully but nothing seems to resolve this issue.
On Friday I got my Froyo upgrade, and since then everything is fine except I discovered that when on calls I can no longer hear anything through the internal speaker... the only way to hear anything is by switching to speakerphone.
Any idea what has caused this? Is my hardware busted?
Recently upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.3 on my Galaxy S4 and since then the Hands-free turns on automatically every few minutes. It is annoying, especially since I do not use it. Tried to turn it off but it comes back by itself. The people at AT&T ddisabled it but it came back after a few hours.

After the firmware upgrade I am experiencing the following issues:
At the beginning when I conmect to my wifi everything works fine for the first 5 min, all apps work flawlessly, then suddenly my phone only uploads date (up arrow only) but no down arrow n then my apps such as whatsapp, fb messenger, etc do not recieve any data until I goto those apps and stay in there for about a min. Then I get all my whatsapp messages sent about a min ago . But my browser seems fine..and the speed there is good.
my USB doesn't work anymore. I can't charge or connect it to a PC. I'm dying to install Jelly Bean. Is it possible to upgrade via OTA? Is my manufacturer warranty void since my GNex is rooted?

Sounds like my internet is broken? ITS NOT. whatsapp and opera mini, web browser is still working 100% and able to connect

turning sync of and on
clear the cache of various google apps
turning the phone off and on
The last action I did before it worked was to uninstall the 'microsoft outlook app'.
Had WiFi working earlier now it has stopped but laptop still working ok?

I want to upgrade to 2.2 and I understand that I have to download the file and rename it to update.zip and do a recovery boot. But after I download OTA I cant find the freaking file to rename it. Its not on my sdcard or on the phone. I used astro File manager to look. And I cant find anywhere to download it.

I assume I have to unroot back to stock, then install 2.2 and then use one click unrevolked 3.2 to root for tethering.I only want tether ability..What/where/how do I do this?
