Where is the folder located at? Like when i save a picture from a MMS it goes under "download" in the Photos.. & i can't find it when it's mounted as a disk drive.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my DINC and I love this phone. One issue I'd like some help with. How can I manage and organize my photos. I'd like to be able to create some albums and seperate my photos so I can find them easier rather than having to go through them all to find a single shot. I know albums can be created some how, becasue in the users manual there is a page that shows a screen shot of the phone. This screen shot has a list of albums that have been created.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI put in a 8GB class 6 card, copying all files over manually. Works fine except for the album application which shows the count (79) but not the images. Rebooted etc and still same.

Also I just downloaded a dozen photos sms they don't show in this album ??
I love my new phone and it's my first venture into android/smart phones. On all my old basic phones I could sort out my photo albums easily, placing family photos all together and nudies together as well. On this phone, all photos go in 1 of 2 places. If I take a pic with the camera, it goes in a camera folder. If I pull it off the web or save from a text, they go in a download folder. These seem to be my only options and my pics are a jumbled mess. I've read my book, played with my phone, been to multiple Sprint stores, and searched these forums to no avail. No one seems to know or care. Is there any way I can create new folders and move pics from one to the other?
View 25 Replies View Relatedhow y'all organize your music on the Eris. I have been just clicking and dragging from the computer to the SD card in a folder created "music." I would like to group all my songs into genres (blues, rock, etc.). The only way I've been able to do this is by adding songs to a playlist on the phone, which is way to time consuming. I have yet to sync my desktop w/ my computer. Would this make organizing any easier?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't remember how I did it, but I was somehow able to upload all the photos that I've taken with the camera to Picasa. Now I have quite a few videos in there as well, but I do remember a message saying that videos are not supported by Picasa and that only the photos would be uploaded. I'm now trying to do the same thing, but whenever I choose the entire 'Camera' folder to upload to Picasa, the only 'Share' options are YouTube, Gmail, and Bluetooth. Does anyone know how I may have done that the first time, or a way to sync photos from the gallery to Picasa web albums?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI dont know if this has been disscussed but I was needing some support on on the photo albums. Is their a way to put your photos in differnt albums?? I have been trying to figure it out for a month now and still cant figure it out. I'm sure there's a way to do since it has a album section...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI upload photo's from my computer to Picasa Web using Picasa, where they are stored in my Google Plus space.
Under my account sync settings in Android, along with Gmail and Contacts and all that, I've got "Sync Google Photos" and "Sync Picasa Web Albums".
What's the difference between these two choices?
Everything went fine, downloaded and installed in about a half hour. I was pleasantly surprised all of my contacts showed up, all my apps were still there just like I had it when I had 1.5. Oh, and texts and recent calls still being there was another plus. One thing doesn't seem to be working though. My albums are gone! Well, not really. They're still on the SD card with their respective pictures in them, in the albumthumbs folder. I can't see them on the phone, though. My question is this: Does anyone else have this problem? And has anyone fixed it? I tried unmounting the card and remounting, and they still didn't show up. Is there another directory they have to be in with 2.1?
View 6 Replies View RelatedBefore I proceed, I would like to say that despite the complaints that follow, I absolutely love my Droid Eris.
1) First and foremost, the four front screen "buttons". These are a major source of aggravation for me. I would estimate that they only work about 25% of the time. The only way to get them to register my commands is to swipe them up or down which usually results in unwanted "taps" on other on screen functios.
2) The pinch zoom function worked great for the first week. Now I can very rarely get it to work.
3) Major lag when flipping through pictures in albums. Major! It's absolutely ridiculous. They're only thumbnails!
4) HTC flash only seems to work for about ten videos. After that, it just won't open when I try to play a video. They only way to get it back is to kill browser with task killer.
5) Not really a complaint, but it would be nice if the browser had options for on screen navigation buttons like back, home, bookmarks, Windows(tabs), etc.
6) The weather and clock widget displays the wrong weather, city, and time at least 95% of the time. The clock is the worst. Not even the same time zone which is extremely uncool. I very rarely look at the small system clock so it has caused me problems on more than a few occasions.
All of this I can live with...except for the four front screen buttons. They aggravate me to the point that I've wanted to throw the phone accross the room on more than one occasion.
Use Picture Viewer to read e-books and such... Well, try to. It seems it does show the files in order? By that, I mean alphabetically by filename. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to use Sense to view photo albums for one friend, it shows that they have zero photo albums. The official facebook app does the same. If I use the browser to visit her profile, I can see her numerous photo albums easily, but damnit! I want the software to work like it's designed and this little bug seems so bizarre. As far as I can tell, the missing albums bug only applies to this one friend. I would be able to easily overlook the bug except that one friend is my fiancee.

View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know how you send your photos from your Droid Eris phone TO the vzwpix.com (pixplace) or vice versa? It was pretty straightforward on my old Dare, but now the options to send there aren't as apparent.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the Eris doesn't have a flash is there anyway to take good night/dark photos? All the good "kodak moments" happen at night.
View 32 Replies View RelatedI searched the forum, but couldn't find an answer to this:
I just did the OTA 2.1 installation (from 1.5), and currently I'm setting up my home screens to match how they looked before the upgrade. I previously had an icon called "Albums" that would take me to a listing of video, camera, and download albums. I kind of remember installing it from Programs, but now I can't find it there. I've also looked under the HTC and Android widgets, and under Shortcuts, and it's nowhere to be found.
Anyone know how I can get it back?
Is there a way to add more photo albums to the SD card in the Eris? I would like to have more albums for photos than what is the default ones. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there any PC-software which I can use to organize contacts on my phone? View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed Astro File Manager, and I can't find where the Eris stores photos taken with the camera. I have a folder called 'Photos' on my SD card, but that only has photos I copied to it from my PC. (so I could use them as wallpaper). When I use the Albums app, it lets me choose the Photos folder on my SD card, or a folder called 'Camera shots' with 29 photos in it (that I took with the Eris camera), but I don't see that folder anywhere with Astro , even when trying a file search.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo Verizon just replaced my eris with a refurb and everything seemed to work fine. I was initially able to lo load a photo album widget, but that after doing some SD card file editing, when I tried to look at photos, the pictures no longer load. I can look at them if I access the pictures within the camera function. But if I try to look at the the android photos apps, I get a never ending 'loading SD card data'. If I try to view them through ASTRO, the htc.photo program forces closes repeatedly and I have to pull the battery. I've already moved my data from the SD card, reformatted it, re-loaded the data and that allowed me to view the pics in the camera feature, but overall this isn't working. Because it worked at first, I'm thinking it isn't the phone and it's something I did.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI searched but couldn't find what I needed.I made the mistake of syncing my Eris with Facebook. I would rather use the photos I have for contacts in Gmail but now that I've synced with Facebook I can't get the photos to go away, short of going to each contact and choosing to sync the birthdays but not photos. Even then, would i really have to add each of their photos to the SD card and change each one individually in their contact file? More simply put: How can I unsync Facebook photos with contacts? I tried logging out of Facebook and uninstalling the app but, disturbingly, it continues to show contact photos from FB and, more disturbingly, gives me updates on them. I'm definitely logged out and I definitely uninstalled the app.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just set up my Droid Eris to sync my contacts with their Facebook profile so that their photos would show up in my contacts. I synced them all and them matched up properly, but their pictures are not aligned properly. When I first did it, their faces were aligned and everything looked ok, except some pictures were pretty pixelated. But after a few minutes, the pixelation went away and the quality of the pictures was better, except a lot of my contacts have their head not in the photo or just misaligned. More than half are off.I thought at first it was that they didn't set up their picture properly on Facebook, but I looked at their mini pictures (like the ones that show up in the news feed) and their faces were showing up properly. Even their mini pictures on the facebook app are correct. And these seem to be the same size as the pics in my contacts. Why is it that my contacts photos aren't aligned right on some of them and how can I fix this?
View 23 Replies View RelatedFirst time trying to send a photo via text message (MMS). On any number of my previous phones, the phone would automatically resize the image so that it wasnt too large to send. That does not appear to be happening on the Eris. I sent one photo, and it was nearly 1100kb. Then another photo I attempted to send would not attach, because it said it was too large (it was like 1250kb in size). So, is there a way to have it automatically resize a photo that is being sent via MMS? Or will I need to do that manually beforehand with an app from the Market, like Picasa or something of the sort?
