Use Picture Viewer to read e-books and such... Well, try to. It seems it does show the files in order? By that, I mean alphabetically by filename. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Everything went fine, downloaded and installed in about a half hour. I was pleasantly surprised all of my contacts showed up, all my apps were still there just like I had it when I had 1.5. Oh, and texts and recent calls still being there was another plus.One thing doesn't seem to be working though.My albums are gone! Well, not really. They're still on the SD card with their respective pictures in them, in the albumthumbs folder. I can't see them on the phone, though. My question is this: Does anyone else have this problem? And has anyone fixed it? I tried unmounting the card and remounting, and they still didn't show up. Is there another directory they have to be in with 2.1?

Going to keep looking. What I am looking for is to flick through photos, which picture viewer does, but also being able to pan around pic if zoomed in. Also automatic search of SD card for folders with pictures.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently my phone only shows my pictures in low resolution until I zoom in a tiny bit, then suddenly it sharpens into the full quality image. Is it suddenly displaying low res thumbnails for my images until I try looking at them? It never did this before, and it's not a 2.2 change as it started doing it a day or two before I updated it.

View 13 Replies View RelatedBefore I proceed, I would like to say that despite the complaints that follow, I absolutely love my Droid Eris.
1) First and foremost, the four front screen "buttons". These are a major source of aggravation for me. I would estimate that they only work about 25% of the time. The only way to get them to register my commands is to swipe them up or down which usually results in unwanted "taps" on other on screen functios.
2) The pinch zoom function worked great for the first week. Now I can very rarely get it to work.
3) Major lag when flipping through pictures in albums. Major! It's absolutely ridiculous. They're only thumbnails!
4) HTC flash only seems to work for about ten videos. After that, it just won't open when I try to play a video. They only way to get it back is to kill browser with task killer.
5) Not really a complaint, but it would be nice if the browser had options for on screen navigation buttons like back, home, bookmarks, Windows(tabs), etc.
6) The weather and clock widget displays the wrong weather,city,and time at least 95% of the time. The clock is the worst. Not even the same time zone which is extremely uncool. I very rarely look at the small system clock so it has caused me problems on more than a few occasions.
All of this I can live with...except for the four front screen buttons. They aggravate me to the point that I've wanted to throw the phone accross the room on more than one occasion.
How do you delete PDF Viewer downloads?I went to settings>>apps>>manage apps>>pdf viewer>>clear data Still didnt clear the downloads.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to use Sense to view photo albums for one friend, it shows that they have zero photo albums. The official facebook app does the same. If I use the browser to visit her profile, I can see her numerous photo albums easily, but damnit! I want the software to work like it's designed and this little bug seems so bizarre. As far as I can tell, the missing albums bug only applies to this one friend. I would be able to easily overlook the bug except that one friend is my fiancee.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a picture from the web onto my X. I used dropbox. The problem I'm having is I can see the picture when I go to phone files. I copy and paste from dropbox to my picture folder. The picture doesn't show up in the gallery. So just to be sure I copied the picture to a folder called background, its still not there in the gallery. Weird thing is when I go back to the phone files, and look for it. Its there in the gallery folder AND the background folder, but STILL not in the gallery! not sure whats going on there? I just want to make a picture a background thats all. It would be nice to just go into the phone files LONG press a picture and have the "Set As" option. This option only seems to be available in the gallery.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI use the backgrounds app, and it lets me save backgrounds to my SD card. I go into Astro/ sdcard/ backgrounds and then click on the picture. It gives me 2 options to open it. "ASTRO Image Viewer" and "View picture". For me to use it as a background I have to pull it up in "View picture", BUT....no matter how many times I try and pull it up that way, it shows me the first picture in my camera album. If I click "ASTRO Image Viewer", I can always see the picture I selected, but under menu, I only have the option to "share" and nothing else. Can you tell me why the selected picture won't show up in "View picture"?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I get picture messages, they show up in my SMS stream with that person but in the completely wrong spot. They usually show a received time of HOURS before I actually got it, so it shows way in the middle of the stream somewhere. This is also true for messages I send.

I just did the OTA 2.1 installation (from 1.5), and currently I'm setting up my home screens to match how they looked before the upgrade. I previously had an icon called "Albums" that would take me to a listing of video, camera, and download albums. I kind of remember installing it from Programs, but now I can't find it there. I've also looked under the HTC and Android widgets, and under Shortcuts, and it's nowhere to be found.
Anyone know how I can get it back?
I'm using the Facebook mobile site and the News Feed never comes up current with the newest listed first then descending. No matter how I refresh, or if I hit 'Home' or the actual "News' button. It randomly scatters them (differently each time I try to refresh). I tried the FB app that came with the phone as well - and the same thing happens. I've cleared cache, rebooted, and yet nothing seems to help. On my computer and laptop, the most recent are always listed first.
Is this common? Does anyone else have this problem? I've been watching the forum for quite some time to see if anyone else posted this problem and haven't seen anything yet......
It can't seem to play a video smoothly without pausing. Slows my phone tremendously when videos are playing. Is there a specific format required or something?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S II Plus and I recently updated the Dropbox app. After updating, the Gallery app is showing all the pictures I have in my Dropbox, this did not happen before the update. I had a clean Gallery with only the pictures in my phone. I checked the accounts in the settings, but I don't see anything in the Dropbox account settings.
I do not want to see these pictures in my phone. How can I stop this sync?
Are you guys having trouble setting wallpaper. Here is the problem i want to set the whole picture as the wallpaper but when you set as on the eris a box pops up the picture and you have to adjust it. I don't want that I want the whole dam picture. Are you guys having trouble. I found a website that has wallpaper with correct size but when i send it to myself i have to adjust the picture with that dang box.
