I know we can modify font-size of listview by defining custom-layout for Listview. But if there is a way to do by styles.xml then pls help me and let me know.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is my first post. I've had a Moto Droid since day one, and I just love it. It is without a doubt better than any phone that I've had over the years, and that includes the iPhone, BB, etc.
However, there are 2 things that I don't understand - Font size and a spell checker. It is imposiible to read the small font size in emails or text messages.
1. Why has there not been an app to either change the font size or be able to zoom in? Picasy has incorporated multi-touch for zooming, so I've to assume that its doable! Why not have the same in an email client.
2. Why is there not an email client out there that allows for spell checking? There are many such apps for the BB! I am a terrible speller.
I am not complaining, I just want to understand the limitations from a developers prospective, as I am sure these isuues will eventually be addressed.
I am running plainJane and want to change my font by flashing .zip on recovery. Can some one either point me to a list of fonts or post a list that I can download straight from my phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Droid 2 today, and I have a few questions to ask with one notable one.
Most importantly, is it possible to change the virtual keyboard into an ABC style instead of the traditional QWERTY? I'm not sure which I would stick with in the end, but I would like to try out another orientation.
Wi-fi drains the battery, right? I have horrible phone service at my house(home for the holidays) but at school the service is great, should I bother using Wi-Fi regularly?
Also is it possible to have the screen wake up when it is touched? The lock screen seems a bit unnecesary considering that there is already a lock button, so it would be nice to disable one or the other.
EDIT: Also, it seems like my phone has decided to spam my contact list with all of my Facebook "friends." That seems like it could cause some problems...
Also do you have any suggestions for a music player over the standard one? I have not really looked through the market yet personally(mostly due to the horrible service here), so any suggestions are welcome.
At the moment my base style inherits from android:style/Theme.Light.NoTitleBar. Is there any way I can change it to inherit from Theme.Black.NoTitleBar in code? I notice apps like Handcent has a settings option to do this, but I can't quite figure out how to do this.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat's the best to change the font on a rooted Droid? I haven't used MetaMorph much, but it was my understanding that it could change the font. I've also read about just replacing the files with root explorer? I'm just picky about my fonts, and would like to be able to get a font I like on some different ROMs.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow can I change the font on CM to the droid font found in adamz smoked glass? I can't seem to find the ttf files but I read that I could use rootexplorer to replace the files like I do a bootimage? Not sure if this is correct but sounds right. I have found many threads on google about the font I want but no links to the actual files.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been messing around with metamorph, and thank the members here for pointing me in the right direction to find the themes I am currently running the I.C.E. theme by tdawg. Everything applied correctly on top of Sholes 2.0.5, without messing up any performance tweaks. Only thing that did NOT apply(no surprise) is the font in the screenshots. I'd like to have this font- it is the same in the Droidinator theme and a few others I have seen screenshots of. So my question is.. where to I find this font, and how do I apply it(Hopefully through a terminal emulator since that is all I have set up so far)?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI tried to change the font on Froyo manually with rootexplorer as i have in the past with other builds/roms but it caused boot loop. Has anyone been able to do this and if so how?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe question is given, I want a smaller font to display these lines in the Android Console window (NOT the Logcat window). I've changed the other console's font (cvs, svn, ...) in the preferences, but this window still has same font size. I want this window to be much smaller and put it on the side of my screen, not on the bottom, this way I would have vertically more space in Eclipse.
View 2 Replies View RelatedNewly replaced Eris, so I'm reinstalling a lot of apps. But now I've forgotten how I fixed this problem the last time. I'm getting double the messages (and notifications), via both Messages and Handscent. All i really wanna see/hear from/use is Handscent.

View 8 Replies View RelatedDoes any of you know it is possible to disable the conversation style for text messages in the legend. I really prefer a separate in box and s separate box for my send messages. Most of the messages I send and receive are not conversations, so for me it isn't a good option for me. I already tried it with hand cent, but this also didn't have that option.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have always been a Palm girl, and decided to move onto the HTC Hero.I downloaded handcent, and I am sort of confused on how it or the default text messaging works. Why is it when I send a text, and receive a text from someone else, they all wind up in the same chat.Do all incoming texts wind up in one chat style window?I know on Palm each text had its own window sort to speak. If I replied, then it became a "chat".My incoming from different people wind up in one window so I am reading different peoples replies in all one paragraph like chat.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAs much as I wanted to use the native Gmail app, the font size was just too small (seems like a common Android problem except in the browser). To remedy this I simply configured my Gmail (actually Google Apps) account as an IMAP account with the regular Android Mail. Here, font size is fully scalable (about six selections) and they apply to both reading email to typing new email. This will have to do until someone fixes the dedicated Gmail app font size. On the positive side, this actually works better in receiving email sent to the phone as it was definitely NOT full push with the Gmail app as it's supposed to be. Having them both setup it's easy to see that mail arrives much faster with the regular IMAP mail app than with the Gmail, which is really odd.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a way to increase the font on my menus, settings, and for the general overall OS system. I realize I can add apps like Handcent that will allow me to do it for things like SMS/MMS. But I also would like to have a way to just increase the font for everything else. After coming over to the Eris from several other smartphones where the font could be adjusted, I'm concerned that I havent found a way on the Eris.
And no, I am not looking for answers such as, "Put on your reading glasses". LOL. I'm hoping I'm just overlooking a simple setting, and maybe an easy app that I can get thru The Market ?
I use Handcent and love it but I was wondering if there a setting to change the font size when you are inputting the text?
