Motorola Droid : How To Change System Font?

I've been messing around with metamorph, and thank the members here for pointing me in the right direction to find the themes I am currently running the I.C.E. theme by tdawg. Everything applied correctly on top of Sholes 2.0.5, without messing up any performance tweaks. Only thing that did NOT apply(no surprise) is the font in the screenshots. I'd like to have this font- it is the same in the Droidinator theme and a few others I have seen screenshots of. So my question is.. where to I find this font, and how do I apply it(Hopefully through a terminal emulator since that is all I have set up so far)?

Does your HTC Desire need to be rooted so you can change the system font? For example the font below icons? I've had a look through these forums and not seen an answer to this.

Is there a way to change all of the system fonts into just one font? I'm running a ROM that uses about 20 fonts. However I only want to use Roboto. Is this possible?

I don't really know much about this but I have the leaked 2.2 update, rooted, Droid X and I would like to know if it's possible to change the system font (Droid Sans) with a different one, and/or the consequences of doing so. Something leads me to believe it's not possible/easy to do because I haven't seen too much of this but if it is possible, a link to a tutorial would be much appreciated. Although a confirmation of the possibility of this would also be nice!

What's the best to change the font on a rooted Droid? I haven't used MetaMorph much, but it was my understanding that it could change the font. I've also read about just replacing the files with root explorer? I'm just picky about my fonts, and would like to be able to get a font I like on some different ROMs.

How can I change the font on CM to the droid font found in adamz smoked glass? I can't seem to find the ttf files but I read that I could use rootexplorer to replace the files like I do a bootimage? Not sure if this is correct but sounds right. I have found many threads on google about the font I want but no links to the actual files.

I tried to change the font on Froyo manually with rootexplorer as i have in the past with other builds/roms but it caused boot loop. Has anyone been able to do this and if so how?

I tried to change the font on Kyocera Rise with Font Installer, after it was complete it required to reboot but now its on boot loop. When i go to Android System Recovery the bottom says E:cannot load volume /misc!

This is my first post. I've had a Moto Droid since day one, and I just love it. It is without a doubt better than any phone that I've had over the years, and that includes the iPhone, BB, etc.
However, there are 2 things that I don't understand - Font size and a spell checker. It is imposiible to read the small font size in emails or text messages.
1. Why has there not been an app to either change the font size or be able to zoom in? Picasy has incorporated multi-touch for zooming, so I've to assume that its doable! Why not have the same in an email client.
2. Why is there not an email client out there that allows for spell checking? There are many such apps for the BB! I am a terrible speller.
I am not complaining, I just want to understand the limitations from a developers prospective, as I am sure these isuues will eventually be addressed.

The question is given, I want a smaller font to display these lines in the Android Console window (NOT the Logcat window). I've changed the other console's font (cvs, svn, ...) in the preferences, but this window still has same font size. I want this window to be much smaller and put it on the side of my screen, not on the bottom, this way I would have vertically more space in Eclipse.

I have a widget that changes some system settings, but it will not take right away. It seems like I need to refresh the system settings for it to take. How do you change some system settings from a widget that take instantly?
when my widget is pressed it goes to an activity with a blank background to change the system settings. one of the settings that are changed is the display brightness. this is the code i use to change the display brightness. once i change the settings i call the finish function to exit the activity so i am not stuck there after the settings are changed. One thing i did notice is that if i didnt exit the activity the settings did change, but i was stuck in the activity. its when i added the class.this.finish(); to exit the activity that the settings don't change. code...

i really want to change the font on my phone and have been looking at a thread over at Modaco but couldn't really get the same results they got.My problem is that they say to push the new fonts into the Fonts folder on the SD card, but i dont seem to have one.Has anybody been able to do this with any success?
