Motorola Droid X :: Decent Ring Tones Application?
Jul 31, 2010I read somewhere on here where there is an app that will give you "ring" tones. I don't care for music or any special stuff, just an effective ring or selection of them. Also, not sure if it is a setting or not, but when it rang this morning it was talking at the same time telling me what the number was that was calling. How do i turn this off?

Apr 23, 2010With the soon arriving Adobe Flash Player 10.1 coming out for 2.1 devices, Do you think the Android system will make a turn for the better supporting flash games and even AIR which will lead us to amazing places. Or do you think that with the low processor speed that Eris has that it will be a "meh" beneficial update that will help with certain webpage views but not full compatibility gaming.

Jul 19, 2010I'm rather new to this rooting stuff and I want to like it...the only problem is that I can't seem to find a decent ROM. I've tried xtrrom but I couldn't even find the market icon on there. I've tried eris lightning, but it's just not cutting, and i've tried ayori snow and that just plain didn't work. Basically I'm looking for one with the Clock and Weather widget on it and live wallpapers. also what is all of this kernel talk about, i dont even know what that means or does?

Sep 16, 2010I took the plung today and finally rooted! I'm am so happy right now. I feel like a kid in a candy shop. But anyways, enough with my bragging.
I have read all over the place that there are themes available for different ROMs. However, I am having a very difficult time finding them. I am currently running BB 0.4 and wish to install a theme. I have read that smoked glass is a very cool theme.
Can anyone please help me find themes for BB 0.4. Also, if anyone is willing to throw together a post with links to themes for different ROMs, I will be willing to put your thread in the sticky at the top of this forum. I think it would be a good idea for us "noobs" and veterans to be able to easily find a comprehensive list of themes available for the different ROMs floating around.
Motorola Droid :: Any Decent Snap On Cases For Phone?
Mar 23, 2010Those snap on cases that Verizon sells are really bad. I had a Body Glove one for my previous phone, a Samsung Glyde, worst phone ever made BTW, and it broke within 2 months, and I had another similar one for my Droid, the first one broke in less than a month and the one the store replaced it with broke in just over 2 months. Is there any decent cases for the Droid?

When I said looks like junk--i mean the actual look of it--not the specs which are decent and the keyboard looks better than droid. 20.3 mm thick. Droid is 13.7. CPU is the Marvell PXA 310, 624MHz. Seems there are two faster versions of this cpu. So this may be old tech. Update: Released in 2007 according to link.

May 5, 2010A few weeks back I started using the full version of droid live (has another name now but I forget it at the moment) to stream various music and talk radio stations (both national and international) The program worked great, as I was able to easly connect and stream music/talk with virtually no drops. There is one local sports talk radio that I listen to the most. All of a sudden, in the last week or so, live has had serious problems connecting to that one specific station. Once connected however, the program actually works fine with no drops. it just takes repeated attempts to get it to connect. I know it is not a signal issue, as I get great 3G in my home and business. Sent an email to the developer a few days ago and have not heard anything back yet. So do any of you know of any decent programs that might rival droid live?

Sep 5, 2010Been on the look out for a decent 3D RPG for my Desire.I've seen Crusades of Destiny, but I'm not keen on the graphics. I read a post somewhere in these forums from the developer of Ravensword for iPhone, and he said he was looking at converting it to droid.Till then are there ANY decent RPG's out there. Fantasy ones, preferably in 3D. Or can someone recomend any decent PSX ones that I can use with PSX4Droid? Been playing Diablo for a bit, and its not bad.I'm thinking of a droid equivalent to Oblivion, Fallout 3, or Dragon Age. Yes I know it's impossible to port these monsters to the droid before someone comes out with a sarcastic reply. However surely the early Elder Scroll games are low enough quality to be ported. Maybe even Morrowind.

My google account has uploaded all my contacts to the replacement and I switched the SD cards which took care of my saved Pics etc. None of my apps have shown up on the replacement besides the pre existing loaded ones from HTC and google.

May 17, 2010I keep a shortcut to the Calendar on my home screen. With 1.5 I was always annoyed that the shortcut had a 28 (or somesuch) date on it. I really wanted it to be dynamic so the shortcut always had the correct date. On Sunday when I got my 2.1 upgrade, I was so happy to see that the calendar shortcut had the correct date, the 15th. I was bummed to find out that it was a concidence. The correct date was only displayed because it happend to be be the 15th. Today, on the 17th, it still says 15 on my shortcut.
