May 7, 2014I recently (about 1 year ago) buyed an android tablet (just for exploring android)it was a care solutions tablet, Then i rooted it, but after some time it got stuck on android booting screen,after researching more i flashed CWM(successful) but then cannot get custom rom on it, after googleing , i found a china rom(i cannot find the site now) then flashed it on the tablet (using LIVESUIT), now the screen is booting white with some colourful lines, later i found it was a SMILE PRO Tablet.

Aug 29, 2010I really LOVED this game when it was on my old Samsung D415 six years ago. Sadly, it seems to be a Samsung game because I never got it to work with Windows Mobile. I know some will say those bejeweled games are the same, but this is better since you get you get them diagonally as well.

May 20, 2010I installed Handcent and i'm happy with it, but one thing is bugging me.When i get a message, i get it twice, once with Handcent and once with the original message application. So i get the same message tone twice AND to message notifications.How do i turn off the "original" messaging app?

HTC Desire :: Handcent Draining Battery?
Nov 9, 2010A while ago I got rid of Handcent because it was very laggy following updates.Having heard this had been fixed, I have downloaded it again and it's no longer laggy which is great.However, it is draining the battery. I know this because I've had the System Panel monitor on, and the history shows that the CPU usage for Handcent is high for about 15-20 minutes after I send a message (as opposed to the stock, which just goes down as soon as I've sent a message).Is there a setting somewhere on Handcent that I'm missing, that's keeping the CPU usage high?

Oct 21, 2010Had my desire for about 4 months now, tres happy with it, one of the first apps i downloaded to use instead of the stock was Handcent for SMS.Today I take it out to send a text and the conversation screen is blank!Can't find texts anywhere - including if I go into the traditional 'messaging'.And then to top it off, I send a text to my sister and it goes to my wife!? Despite the conversation window showing the correct name and profile photo.Anyone else had any issues with Handcent? Reading other posts, I now know that its also a battery drainer, so I'll be uninstalling it, but I'd like me messages back first!

Aug 24, 2010I posted a while ago about handcent (great sms program) and my thoughts on it clashing with the mail scheduling peak/offpeak, after installing 2.2 on and using only STOCK apps all has been well.But I installed latest handcent again 6 days ago and the stock mail app connecting to my exchange 2003 email server has stopped working for scheduled and peak times.I have uninstalled 2 days ago and i still have to manually start and stop the manual/push every morning and night. the only way i can see this fixing is doing a factory reset (which i am sick of doing)handcent have not commented about this and I am baffled as to why handcent would /could affect this process.

Coming from a HTC Hero, whenever I get a new message my LED and trackball would flash continually until I opened the text message. I have set it up a few times but every time I get a text message, it is he usual green, slow flash - and even then it doesn't always work. May 10, 2010I've had my Desire for about a week end enjoyed pinch to zoom in many applications over the first few days. Somehow the feature was disabled or removed and I struggle to enable it again. Other threads mentioned an update followed by a reboot. I'm not aware of any OS updates and I've done several reboots without any change to the issue. Also, these threads seemed to be US related and about other and slightly older phones.

HTC Desire :: New Handcent Update And Partial Wake Up
Jun 14, 2010I've got a desire and handcent has been pretty good to me so far. the latest update has things a bit more stable (or so it seems at least) when sending group texts, however,i woke up to find my phone had 3 new text messages..but the phone battery went down from 100% to 83%! i know it's shocking but i got up at 2pm haha today and i got the texts at intervals of 8am and 11am. anyways i'm pretty sure it wasn't any other app as i usually lose about 8-13% at most. i checked the *#*#4636#*#* and in 'partial wake up' battery usage, it said handcent had been on for 4 hours! i know the phone can still be awake even if the screen is off but my settings have always been to not turn on screen when receiving a new message. i'm guessing this problem is because of the message popup staying active? i'll see how this fairs when i wake up tomo morning and if i get any texts..
