Weather Widget (htc corporation) 0.0kb
I have a debranded Desire running the updated radio rom (the one that restores the broken wifi)

Oct 28, 2009I tap weather icon, get current location no city name and the weather info, I then tap "+" hit my location and it finds my city Corning NY, I add this to the weather app, I close out and hit weather app again and now I have to locations, the one that says current location and the one that says Corning NY, both weather datas are the same. My question is how to I delete or get rid of the current location weather data screen and have only the Corning NY screen when I open the weather app? The data for both is the same but I don't want 2 locations(one named) for the same data.

May 18, 2010After going out of town this weekend where my Incredible switched my "current location" to where I was, upon returning home the Incredible still shows that I'm in the other location. I've tried updating and such. I've even tried rearranging the areas (towns/cities). I've tried to delete the towns/cities. It still says I'm in the other city and nothing changes in the "first place/home screen" after rearranging/deleting.

Sep 1, 2010i'm beginning to think that in 2.2, if you have a lower signal strength (such as i do in my house), it can't tell your location anymore. in my house, wiht 2.1, it always told me my town. now, with 2.2, it says, fro the most part with a lower signal, "current location." however, when i turn wifi on, it'll tell me my town right away, leading me to believe that since my wifi signal is great in my house, it's giving me the correct location.

Sep 1, 2009I've had my Hero on Orange for 4 or 5 days now and apart from when I first switched on the phone the weather app has just said "No weather data available" and the clock/weather widget has just had my location. I have the "location by cell" thing switched on, and I did manage to get it working once with the GPS, but other than that it just displays my location. It's the same whatever location I am in. The other cities download the weather just fine (London, Paris, New York, etc.). It's not like I'm somewhere tiny either, I am in Bromley. It doesn't make any difference whether I'm using WiFi or 3G.

Jul 19, 2010How I get my weather/clock widget to show the local weather? it currently shows the weather in my capital city but it used to show the local weather of the suburb I am in when I'm in different suburbs? It also used to update the weather every hour and show a sun in the day and a moon at night but now even at 12 at night it still shows the sun. I've also set the weather sync in settings to update ever hour. does anyone know what it could be thats different in my phone now?

Sep 21, 2010I do not know how but for some reason the phone numbers in my contacts (People) list are now displayed in US format instead of UK i.e. 123-456-78910 instead of 12345678910. When sending an SMS and i load up the contacts list BOTH the US and UK formats are displayed. I have tried deleting all my contacts and reimporting them from a back up on the SD card but no change. I have also tried to change the view settings of the list in case its my google contacts showing but it shows 0 contacts for google but 149 for the phone, i only have half that. I have used HTC Sync Google sync recently, could these be the problem? If so how do i fix it?

Jul 23, 2010I tried sync-ing my contact book for my facebook contact updates but it showed no updates even after a few days, but my contacts do have updates on actual Facebook.So I thought I'd try to delete off my account from Accounts&Sync and re-add my account again after a few minutes.After re-adding the account, my friend stream works fine, sync-ed as per normal but when I click on my contacts book/people and tried to link my contacts to their facebook, it showed a blank list and words in the middle showing "No matches found", in other words, I don't have friends?I waited for a hours and tried to re-add and sync again but still can't link my contacts to their facebook because it doesn't show up any facebook link for me to link to my contacts no matter how I try.I resetted my phone back to factory defaults and tried again but it's still the same.

One of the problems that i have been having is that when i start a text message and go to put the contact in all of my contacts are duplicated, even though this is not the case when i open up the People folder. Is there any way that i can get this to return to normal? Each of the duplicated contacts in the messages widget has a blank face next to it and the other has a picture of what looks like a sim card.

Sep 5, 2010I am sure this has been asked millions of times but how shitty does it look, my goodness. everytime i dial a friend & see their nice pretty picture but soon as it dials, the picture looks awful & blurry. My pictures are good quality pics that i saved to my sd card & then i just added them while creating contacts etc. is their a easy fix to this? i also have a app that lets you display a full caller id photo when your being called but it does not look good right now.
