Had my DHD for a week now, but haven't been able to receive or send MMS messages. That seems to include messages containing settings from T-mobile too. Tried my SIM in my old C905 and could send MMS message fine. The support lady from T-mobile said that I've got to take it to the T-mobile shop as it could be a hardware problem.

Having some trouble getting handcent configured right. I want it to only show the notification in the top status bar and the dock. I do not want the popup window. Can someone tell me which settings to use? I have tried everything and cannot get it right.

Since I automatically filter lots of email into subfolders, it's a pain to manually refresh each of them to see if I have new mail. Maybe I'm just missing a configuration setting.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just love my X10 mini but have problems with mms, if I send it just goes to queue and get message "unable to send" and if someone send me one I just get an empty message and it says to download, and then if I try to download it says "cannot be downloaded". When I go to settings - settings download - choose Tmobile it just says could not download settings. Retry? I've called already to Tmobile support and spent 2 hours with them and they just couldn't help me as they don't know this phone.

For my android application I want to generate multiple binaries from common source code and resources. Also looking out for way for doing preprocessing of Java source code. This is something which is very much straight forward in Netbeans using Project configuration. Is there any equivalent way available in Eclipse to achieve this ? Are there any plugins for such things?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI want a widget to toggle settings like WiFi, GPS, bluetooth etc all in one bar configuration as opposed to separate widgets. I saw one screen shot in this forum of a very clean, minimalistic bar where green = on, red = off (or something like that) for each setting, but I can't remember which post had that screen shot. I've searched and searched. Anyone remember seeing this? Or what search term should I use in the market to find this sort of widget with multiple settings on it?

If I drag all the data from the old SD card to my computer and then back over to the new SD card, will that keep all the setting form the HTC backup settings? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my desire for a couple of weeks now and loving it, just one point thats frustrating the hell out of me is why when sending a text message using the "phone" style keypad you can't disable the XT9 setting, I've turned it off in settings etc., and it will still default back to XT9 when you navigate away to add a smiley etc. Maybe I am missing something obvious! but I detest predictive texting - prefer to type my own letters. Any app that will sort this?

Strange, I thought but I set one up and it turns out to be the ScreenLock password. Usually the phone asks for a pattern to be drawn to unlock it etc etc now I have to put in the password I was asked to set up instead. When I go into the phone security settings I cannot disable the password or change it back to the pattern method...? I prefer the pattern method as it's much easier to input than the little keyboard to put in password, and I can turn it off when I'm at home.

Wifi.
1) I've set this up and it seems to work, but I would just like to know what the advanced settings are for? I turned off the phone before and turned it back on and my wifi settings werent there and I had to re enter everything again is there anyway to ensure they are always saved? is it because my ESSID broadcast is disabled?
2)Is there anyway to make it so that whenever I am in range of my router, the phone can automatically connect to this?
I've downloaded firmware and backed up the data stored on the phone when prompted, now after the phone restarted I saw that the main screen is set to a default HTC one, I had my own profile saved onto the phone but I cannot find it after the firmware update. Can you manually backup data form the sd card? Or is it just a normal thing that the update deletes your own main screen setting even if it's saved in the profiles section. I must say I'm quite annoyed with it.

They are suggesting that I set up 3 seperate APN profiles - is this right? I already have an APN profile called "Vodafone PAYMONTHLY" where I have data set up. Can I just add MMS settings in that one? Can someone also confirm their MMS settings on Vodafone UK?

On my new Desire I can't seem to find any settings to set it up in the same sort of way i.e instant email. I have succesfully set up around 4 or 5 accounts and the nearest settings I found was setting it to download every 5 minutes. Is this the nearest the Desire get's to push email?

Also it doesn't play full screen. So from searching thru the forums here, i have found that I need to have the videos in mp4 format and Any Video Converter seems to be the way to do it. Now that i'm with T-mobile, can someone confirm that when they turn mobile browsing on, the 'Access point name is only "MOBILE WORLD_WAP"?

The settings i have for that don't seem to be working, and it's messing everything up (market place won't update, internet doesn't work, and maps can't syncronise - EVEN THOUGH the "H" sign on working on the top left with both up and down arrows flashing/holding)..

Just bought a new HTC Desire and to use the Wifi network at University I need to change the cache settings however I can't find any option to do this what so ever! I know you can on Android 1.6.
