Sep 17, 2010This afternoon I noticed that my facebook app is showing a null error whenever I try and access my news fee Is this a network error otherwise how do I fix it?

HTC Desire :: Facebook Contacts With Numbers Showing
Apr 14, 2010Just received my Desire and loving it. My only issue so far is that even though I've selected in the People app only to display Google contacts there seems to still be Facebook contacts appearing, albeit only the ones who have entered phone numbers into their Facebook profile. This causes duplicate entries for the same person in messaging apps (default and Handcent) and in the People app it seems to prefer to show the Facebook contact details rather than the Google ones.

Jun 13, 2010Having a few problems ringing people on my phone. I get a voice saying "the number you have called has not been recognised". I looked at the number and it start 447xxxxxxxxxx I went to edit the number in phonebook and it's fine cos it starts off as 07xxxxxxxxx, i have to edit the number each time i wanna ring these person now unless they're in my previous call list! They are linked to their facebook profile but they don't store their number of facebook so why is it being converted to 447xxxxxxxxxx if it has the + before the 44 i think it would be an issue! I've never had this issue before either

May 24, 2010I have Facebook for HTC Sense setup in my "Accounts & Sync" section. When I hit the SYNC NOW button there, it seems to sync ok.
However, when I open the PEOPLE program, and select the ONLINE DIRECTORIES and then select FACEBOOK (I assume this is the HTC Sense facebook integration), it says connection error.
Is there some setting I'm missing somewhere?

Oct 31, 2009An error that appeared in my Flurry logs but seemed impossible to reproduce otherwise just occured That's the good news.The bad news is that the LogCat info is not telling me enough.I would appreciate a second set of eyes taking a look and offering wisdom.The lead up is that I was playing with my app, and put it away for a while. I did a lot of other things with my phone since, like making phone calls, etc I hooked up my phone to the computer to make another attempt to find the mystery bug, and decided to see if anything weird appeared in the logs from earlier.I then brought my app to the foreground using the Home/Hold technique and whamo the bug appeared before my eyes in LogCat.

I am using AsyncTask as a private subclass of my Activity, however when I try to populate the user object after authenticating it keeps setting it to null. Is there something strange in how the onPostExecute() method is called that is causing this? I originally had the AsyncTask as its own class but ran into the same problem, so I am try to solve this using a private subclass.

So I decided to try to scroll down and realized that my friends list ends at the letter R. Anyone afterwards is no were to be found. May 11, 2013In the Facebook app for Android and on the mobile website, my liked pages aren't show correctly. I think it only shows likes from a huge while back, as any pages I've recently liked just don't show up. The weird part is that my newesty liked pages shows up on the button for likes on my profile, but once you click it, it's nowhere to be found. Another werid thing is that after pressing that, it says that I have "Other Likes: 11", but once I click that, it only shows 9.
Here is what I want you to try:
-Go to the facebook app, slide out the menu and click your own name to go to your profile.
-Slide to the side in the area where you have About, Photos, Friends and Places and slide until you see the Likes button.
-Check the pictures on that button and see if you can find them in after clicking the button
-See if the number of Other Likes match with the amount it shows.
I'm wondering if its just a bug for everyone or if I'm the only one having the problem. Maybe there is even another way to get to your liked pages??

Oct 12, 2010Since the 2.2 update I have had double Facebook birthdays showing in my calendar. 1 from the old method of posting the URL in google calendars and the other from Facebook under the calendar option. After trying over and over to erase the original way from my phone with no luck, I decided to just delete my Gmail calendar all together and then reload it onto my phone. Once I did that, I restored my Gmail calendar and made sure the Facebook calendar option is checked. Now, I have NO Facebook birthdays at all. No matter how many times I check, uncheck and refresh the calendar, the birthdays refuse to come back.
