Does anyone else find find the camera on the Desire extremely sensitive to any hand movement while taking a picture? I found the camera on my old iPhone 3GS much better in this department (although the picture quality overall was not as good). And I know that a phone is no replacement for a dedicated camera, but is there any way to improve the shutter speed/sensitivity to movement?

Is anyone else having issues with shutter speed? I can't take pictures that are perfectly clear. Most of the people are clear, but usually someone is moving which leaves a big blur.Before people say it's camera shake, I know the difference between shake and shutter blur. It seems the shutter is staying open too long to allow enough light in for proper exposure.

I know that "at times" doesn't mean it's a slow processor but vs. the incredible which is being touted as the phone that blows through any task with ease I was wondering which phone has better performance.
View 10 Replies View RelatedFor those who don't know yet. The desires back cover has a camera lens protector made by very cheap plastic, that scratches very easily. When this happens, the pictures will have a "glowing", blurry, un sharp look. What I did was removing the piece of transparent plastic "lens protector" on the back cover and then used a small piece of screen protector and sticked it on the lenses. Even without it the chances you actually scratch the lens is virtually none. So now I have a hole in my back cover, but I dramatically improved my picture and video quality.

I like all those high speed camera shoots and i was thinking if would it be possible to make an app to use the camera to shoot high speed videos. I am not thinking like professional high speed video (those go up to millions of fps) but more like up to 1000 or 500. The desire should be able to shoot hd 720p video (lets hope with the next update) and may be would be possible to to make lower resolution high speed videos. I think the cpu is enough, but would the camera be able?
View 3 Replies View RelatedCurrently, attempting to scroll when the text view has large amount of text makes the app completely unresponsive. It doesn't ANR, but it doesn't respond either. I've tried occasionally removing some text from the text view and removing some spans also, but it doesn't seem to help much. Any idea how to improve scrolling? It takes ages to scroll up or down. I also tried throttling touch events but it hasn't helped either.

Flash Mode says auto under it, but the box is grayed out and I cannot select it to change it.
This is the same for the auto focus feature, I am unable to select that as well.
