I recently decided to change my Gmail from a immature one to a more professional one, I wonder if there a way to get all the paid apps from the my previous Gmail account to the new Gmail account? I don't want to paid for all the apps again just to use them on my new gmail account.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have multiple gmail addresses set up on my phone through the gmail app.However, when I use any HTC app (People,Gallery)and try to send an email through these apps (I believe it directs me to the HTC mail app), I can only send emails from one of my addresses (which is not my primary address).Does anyone know of a way to switch primary email addresses for HTC apps or how to at least switch on the fly between different addresses when sending emails launched from other HTC apps (People, Gallery, etc.).

View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought a Kyocera Rise for my wife (big mistake - piece o' junk). She broke the sliding display off of the keyboard - ribbon and all so I transferred the service to an old LG Optimus. But I have no idea what her Gmail address was to be able to get her contacts. Is there anyway to recover the email address or transfer the contacts. The Rise still works, it just doesn't have a screen. I could plug the USB port into a PC and probably read it that way, but I have no idea how to get to the contacts. I don't think we exported the contacts to the SD card.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have added a second Gmail account to the app on my Nexus 7. I did so by going to Settings > Accounts and adding the new email address there. The email address now appears in the Gmail app and all is working fine.
My problem however, is that when i pull down the right hand menu on the homescreen (quick settings menu ?), the account that is shown in the top left corner is now the newly added account instead of my original, and main, account and tapping on the image only brings up the contact info for the second account.
I've looked everywhere and don't seem to be able to change it back to my regular account. I've opened Gmail, Play Store and G+ and made sure they're all set to the main account but it hasn't worked.
how I get the drop down (quick settings) menu to display the correct account ?
I have a razr maxx hd. How do I set my default email address to an existing gmail account. When I try to sign into that existing email account via the gmail app on the razr, all I get is a response, "The username or password you entered is incorrect".
Please note: I put another gmail address when I first got the phone.
Do I have to clear out the origional google account and or the gmail address to put the new gmail address in?

I have a few email address' and I would like to know if there is anyway to hide 1 of those email address' from the Accounts & Sync in the Settings. Either that or anyway to reorganize the way the address' show up so I can keep 1 address out of site if the phone is checked?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe last stock update to my Galaxy SII somewhat messed it up, it started running boiling hot, drining the battery without showing any CPU or anything. So today I installed the stable CyanogenMod (10.1.3) and so far it doesn't have this problem.Two important questions:
- how do I get my gmail address book inside the phone ? Under Settings/Accounts I only see CyanogenMod, and trying to add one gives me Corporate (Exchange), CyanogenMod (again) and Email.
- how do I get Swype ? It's not available from the Language&Input settings.
- how do I view the external SD card from the file manager ? It only shows the internal storage.

The Gmail address book on the Web contains a field for birthdays, so why not the Android address book? While I'm sure the app could undergo a lot of changes (and everyone would have different ideas) something as basic as a birthday seems obvious.

Tried to dig deeper into where and when apps are accessing your data networks regardless of whether it was while you are on wifi or mobile networks. I'm rooted running 4.1.1 and I'm looking for an app that sort of works like a proxy except for my own phone and just my phone's data. The goal is to see which apps are accessing the internet and what websites they are accessing and how often, ect. Basically I'd like to eavesdrop on my own apps. Is that possible? How can I do this?

Example;

When clicking on the address the GPS of my wish opens , finds the country, city but not the street because of the additional Floor and department information. Without this additional information everything well with Google Maps or Sygic.
So, how should i add this additional Floor and department information to my address without the GPS has problems to find the main location.Also from ICS on there is only one filed to add the whole address not as with Gingerbread where you had a field for street, city, etc.
I have my @gmail.com account set up with the gmail client and love the way it works on my mytouch3g. I have my own @mydomain.com that is a gmail domain so my mail looks and acts just like gmail. My issue is that if I use the other android mail client I loose all of the gmail funtionality. How can I use the gmail app with another email address?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using the HTC mail app, to get emails from a Gmail account, which gets messages from a POP3 account. In Gmail online, I can send all messages as being sent from the Pop3 account. I cannot figure out how to do this with the HTC mail account, which makes it pretty useless. Anyone else using HTC mail and receiving and sending from different accounts? I've tried changing the outgoing server stuff, but I keep getting failed message sent errors.

Atleast by using the native app, I have it pull every hour during the week, and on the weekend its every 3hrs. But this seems to constantly be pulling the mailbox, is there a way to change it? I'm just trying to maximize battery (Its alot better after 2 weeks of use, just fine tuning)
View 1 Replies View RelatedPeople may have noticed the recent TLD change for UK gmail addresses previously googlemail.co.uk and now gmail.com. With this, it seems to have messed up my syncing and authentication for some reason. I changed over the other day and ever since I kept getting a message saying the authentication failed. I then added my gmail address as another account and set it to sync gmail (can't sync the calendar for some reason it's not an option). I have not received any push notifications of new mail and I have to manually refresh from within the mail app to get new e-mails. I don't want to remove the previous googlemail.co.uk as it says I have to restore my phone to factory settings (possibly losing messages etc.)
