I have reset the counters with triangle away and unrooted with odin.I want to upgrade to 4.3, but kies show "THIS IS THE LATEST FIRMWARE" and when i press "Software Upgrade" in wi fi mode (OTA), nothing happens.

Sep 19, 2010I installed the lastest version of swype( did not have anything installed on this ROM).I saw the other thread was locked so I'm starting a new one I guess. Everything installed fine, but nothing happens when I swype. Manually typing works but when I swype it just shows the line makes a noise and nothing happens.

Jun 9, 2010I attempted to flash Pete's newest Froyo build. Did a wipe of data/cache, but my phone said the file was bad. Now for some reason I don't have 3G service. I've flashed every nandroid backup I had saved but I can't get it back. Any idea how I might be able to fix this?

I looked up the solution online and they told me to go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Market>Uninstall Updates. I did that and now I have the old version on the Market, so I don't have automatic updating and there is no "Update All" button, so I can't do that either. I tried rebooting my phone, no luck. Unrooting and rebooting, still no luck. How can I update back to the newest version?

Sep 19, 2010I have a desire which is updated to froyo and has the new 2.10.405.2 update which is OTA installed on it ( not to sure what the update was for something about RUS keyboard) anyway I was wondering if any of this will effect me rooting my phone and if it is worth rooting seeing as I already have froyo with sense but I was thinking stick vanilla froyo on there to make it faster or a different rom, will doing this make my phone faster and less prone to crashing sense all the time which is what happens now.

Jun 30, 2010First of all i'm quite a n00b when it comes to rooting and everything, however back in feb when i got mt ATT n1 I decided to root cause of the cool apps that wouldnt run on non-rooted phones.I followed a step by step guide with success. Then the early 2.2 build came out and I loaded it with CM updater and it worked fine. However apps crash often and the phone seems sluggish. I want to flash to the newest release... thing is I don't know where to start.I don't mind loosing all the apps and contacts since I have everything backed up. I just want a completely clean 2.2 flash.Any idea of where to start? I saw the thread that talked about upgrading but since i'm already on 2.2 I dont know what to do.

Aug 19, 2010I really, really, really like this ROM and I have looked at four different ones. The one thing I noticed is that the automatic brightness doesnt seem to work. Or at least, when it's dark, the phone's brightness which is too low, never changes.Am I supposed to add something else to the phone? I wiped factory and dalvick. I have v30 of Froyos.
