View 4 RepliesSo, I have this MT6575 phone, running on Android 2.3.6
Here's what I have:
[URL]....
This is a firmware that is flashed by sd-card from the recovery mode.
Here's what I am looking for:

This is for a DIFFERENT phone, but also a MT6575 phone running Gingerbread. This root.zip only roots the phone and when you take a look at it, it doesn't really contain much information.
Here's my question: Is is possible with these files provided to make a root.zip for the phone I have the firmware for? I tried my best to create a root.zip by myself but I get a signature verification error message
I have bought a Candy TV phone locally. Its specs are:

Dual SIM
Mobile TV
FM Radio with 3.5mm Stereo Headset Jack
3.5-inch IPS Capacitive LCD
1 GHZ Processor
Wi-Fi b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.1
Dual Camera with 2MP Main
MicroSD Expandable Storage (up to 32GB)
1300 mAh Battery
Android Gingerbread 2.3
Here are some benchmarks:

I have tried:
- SuperOneClick 2.3.1 - Hangs after failing GingerBreak ("Hellions with BLUE flames!). Suggestion in another thread to turn USB Debugging on and off when SuperOneClick hangs did not work.
- The application from UnlockRoot.com - Fails to get shell root
- TPSparkyRoot's batch file - apparently this works with MT6575 ICS ROMs.
- Bin4ry v12 and v15 - again, this is more for ICS/JB based phones
- MTK Droid Root & Tools v2.2.8 - fails to gain root
I have also tried SP Flash Tool (versions v3.1206.01, v3.1208.01, v3.1216.05) to dump the BOOTIMG but no luck. I am getting this error: "BROM ERROR: S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005) [BROM] Can not pass bootrom start command via USB cable!"
How to root this phone? The phone has very small internal memory - rooting it would enable more efficient space and app management.
I have included the scatter file used by SP Flash Tool for your reference.
How to root a MT6575 phone that runs on Gingerbread. Rooting a MT6575 that has ICS on it is not a problem but on Gingerbread it's a whole different story.

Can i install CWM? Can i install ROM for original S3 mini?I found some roms here - URL>.... but i cant neither unlock bootloader or root the phone. I installed all usb, android, etc drivers, no yellow mark in the device manager. I've tried MtkDroidTools, TPSparkyRoot, SP_Flash_Tool.
I forgot to mention that the phone actually is with Android 4.1.2, i dont kno why MTK Droid root & tools says Android v : 2.3.6, it start with samsung logo and everything, but i dont have bulgarian language i this rom.

I tried to root MI-350 through Gingerbreak 1.2 and also Z4Root ( During GB and Z4Root installation, I put the APK file in SD root and then installing from there; then after installation, went to the icon and run the software).
In case of Gingerbreak, Gingerbreak went into infinite loop and ultimately after 45 minutes, I have to stop and start the phone.
In case of Z4Root, during 'Acquiring Seell' process, the process got automatically closed i.e. Z4Root went back to normal screen.
On checking, I found that Rooting did not happen. I tried this multple time to ensure that this is not one off scenario.
what can be done or where I have gone wrong?
Not able to load titanium back-up for this.
my phone rom damaged..i want to install new room.
im using s4 clone with air gesture..mt6575 & using jellybean..
I have just purchased Samsung Galaxy S3 Clone (Mediatek 6575). Its Android 4.2 Jelly bean.It was working perfectly fine only had issue that it's wifi was catching signals really weak. I mistakenly factory reset my phone which cause to no boot up animation. Its just blank when i turn on or off my phone. To fix that i rooted my phone as to get into root files i need to root it.
Since i rooted my phone the issue i am having is it says "System UI Stopped working" , "Touch wizard stopped working". Now what should i do, i am really worried.
I tried going into the CWM recovery but its not going, it was going in stock recovery before now its not even going in the stock recovery its just all blank. Now what should i do, its okay if i don't get the bootup logo/ shutdown logo but atleast i have to remove these errors. How can i unroot my phone ?
My Phone hardware is Mediatek 6575 , android 4.2 jellybean.
When the error "System UI stopped working" appears the background becomes black and the notification bar disappears.
have an iBall Andi 3n here. Runs on MediaTek MT6575 SoC. Getting this error while flashing stock rom.

i made its backup with mtkdroid root tools 2.3 but its corrupted.
i tried few roms and flashed it with wrong preloader and dsp_bl .. which gave me total brick .. no charging . no display. no detection by pc. after a lot of hit and trial i somehow unbricked it . now it has android 4.0.4 . but it has few problems.
1: Cameras are not working
2: Sim management is greyed out /disabled .. and no imei ..
3: No baseband ..
now since my own created backup is corrupt and this set is not branded so no real way of identifying it how can i find its factory rom ? from which information I can decide whether a ROM is compatible with my device?
all the details along with pics of my set are here ..
These were taken with stock ROM ..
After deodexing my ROM (successfuly) with android kitchen and manually applying the changes I attempted to perform this modification

That resulted in a bootloop even though I do have the arabic .so file in it's supposed place.
I've tried to ln -s libs to lib from what I saw in some search results but nothing.
My android version is 2.3.6 and bak/smali commands were issued with -a 10 to support proper API level

I have a SGS3 Clone based on MT6575. All the details about it are here .
I have 503MB /data partition
2.09GB /mnt/sdcard partition (it is internal sd card i cannot physically acces it .. its somewhere inside it ..
13.49GB /mnt/sdcard2 which is external sd card 16GB which i have partitioned for link2sd .. and this is the fat32 partition size
and 1.15 GB /data/sdext2 partition which is on external sd card which i created for link2sd it is ext4 partition ..
So the last 2 are the two partitions on my sd card .
I want to Disable altogether the Internal SD Card of 2.09GB (if that doesn't creates any problem, or if it does creates problem then i want it to be reduced to the minimum) so that all of that space is allocated to /data partition ( or whatever it is which android complains of low disk space .. )
I have red a thread here but that is with refrence to mt6577 and mine is mt6575 . and i do have its backup obtained through mtkdroid tools and i bricked it once and unbricked it as well .. ( when it was bricked it was total brick it didnt even do anything on inserting the charger)
I am attaching EBR1 EBR2 MBR and scatter file of my device which i obtained through mtkdroid root and tools and the prepared for flash with spf option in mtkdroid tools and here is the Hex dump of these files which i obtained using ubuntu.

Since last two days I tried to root my lenevo A60 aka spice Mi-350 in India ( android - 2.3.3 ) without any success. I have first tried with the following
1. A60-tools-v2 in winxp (URL....)
2. URL....with winxp
3. gingerbreak (URL....)
No luck :( I have attempted the guides many times to confirm..... seems driver problem.
Now within linux I am trying SuperOneClick (URL....) and during the process I have found actually the adb can't communicate with the phone. If I run "adblinux discover" as root it shows as following
Code:
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
List of devices attached. And due to this the superoneclick is not progressing. obviously at phone I have usb debugging on. I have also added the following udev rules found at URL...
Code:
SUBSYSTEM=="usb" ID_VENDOR_ID=="0bb4", MODE="0666"
SUBSYSTEM=="usb" ID_VENDOR_ID=="18d1", MODE="0666"
SUBSYSTEM=="usb" ID_VENDOR_ID=="05ac", MODE="0666".
but no luck. Any way to activate adb so that I can run superoneclick..Or any other way to root it ..
Code:

I rooted my phone using Z4 then used Titanium Backup for backing up and then recovery. Now while rebooting into recovery mode the phone took a long time in booting so I removed the battery and tried to reboot. But the phone makes the signature sound and after that only displays the following word 'spice'.

I'm using a Spice Mi-350 phone (It is the same as Lenovo A60). On the stock Google Maps worked perfectly. But recently i flashed Yonip 5.3.7 Rebirth ROM. Since then Google Maps does not work anymore. When ever i open it, it says 'This application requires a working data connection'. I have a fully working data connection and every other app on my phone can access the internet except for Google Maps and it's related apps(like Navigation,Places,Local, etc).
Here is the download link for the Yonip 5.3.7 Rebirth ROM. [URL] .....
