The only place where it works as of now is the normal calls through mobile where i am able to have normal calls, rest all apps i tried involving voice services doesn't seem to work. i did not do any recent firmware upgrade or anything.

Jul 7, 2013I just finished Final fantasy 4 (android), and I wanted to have the remastered soundtracks from it. But on the internet the remastered version is not available yet, I could only find the old soundtracks.
I tried screencast recorder, z screen recorder etc(to record video+audio then extract audio), but they all record audio from the microphone, so that didn't work out. is there a way to extract the audio from the game somehow, or some on screen audio recorder for android devices?

I deleted my device's system camera by mistake. I didn't have any backup of that. Now I am captureing photos with other camera apps but no video recording. Cause my system camera had 1080x720 in 30p/s video recording and there is no app with such this option. So how can I now get my old system camera back?

The custom rom is based on 4.2.2 but it has all apps of 4.4 like camera, launcher, calender, gallery etc. The problem I am having is that the camera app doesn't have any option to change video recording resolution. It always record video in 640x480 resolution. but in my stock rom It used to record video in 720p resolution.
I installed camera mx app from playstore and this app gives me 720p recording option. But I don't like this app. I want my default camera app to record 720p. can I edit camera.apk file to change the video recording resolution? or I will have to change some files of my custom ROM to change the resolution?

Mar 31, 2012I'm writing an app part of whose functionality is to record audio through the microphone. The recording seems to stop as soon as the screen times out and the phone enters what I think is sleep mode. I've noticed that some apps(Tokasiki's Voice Recorder, for one) don't seem to have this problem on this phone(Motorola Atrix) and continue to record audio long after the screen has faded to black. I've tried using a partial wake lock but it doesn't seem to maintain the recording. Should I use AudioRecord instead of MediaRecorder? Voice Recorder seems to get by without using AudioRecord.

Jan 15, 2013I've got the Screencast Video Recorder app on my Nexus 7 but when I finish recording anything, the only result I get is a video, of accurate length, full of a pale static image. None of what I've recorded can be seen at all.
When I had this app installed on my Samsung Galaxy S2 it worked perfectly. Now I have it on my N7 and it doesn't work so I'm thinking that it could be a tablet compatibility type issue, even though I'm able to install and open the app fine.
As is shown in my sig, my Nexus 7 is stock rooted, so it's not as if a custom ROM is causing the problem.

Go into settings, and find emojis support, and check that. Then right above that (on my phone) check the option that says Unicode support. These options both are under extra settings!
Now to get the emojis go your messaging, go into a new message or one that your already talking to (your girl , hit the menu button and it gives the option the insert smiley's and the option to insert emojis! The rest is easy

May 15, 2014I had to call my carrier today as they charged me $5 for 0.24 or somethign of a megabite of data. I have a feeling that this happened because of facebook syncing (which, it shouldnt, i have it set to NOT auto sync in the settings, but anyway).
With my carrier MMS uses data, but it is included with my unlimited messaging.
Is there a way to tell my phone to use data ONLY for MMS messages and nothing else?
I have wifi everywhere i go. ifi could recieve MMS over wifi i could and just ditch the data entirely. but thats not the way it works unfortunately.

Mar 10, 2012I'd like to figure out how to connect my Yamaha MIDI keyboard to my Asus tf101 tablet for recording via hardwired USB.
I've scoured the web looking for an app or solution to this and have come up generally blank, I've tried all the free midi controller apps, but they only seem to support Wifi or Bluetooth, which my keyboard is unable to do.
I'd like to eliminate my computer as a middleman (If I'm at my computer I'd just use that) and be able to use my tablet to record on the go!

ASUS Transformer tf101 running
ICS 4.0.3 Rooted
I have the dock with 2 USB 2.0 ports that I am connecting to the connecter with.
Cable:
Amazon: USB MIDI Input Output Cable Converter PC Notebook
Works fine on computer and no issues so far via usb.
