On Google play, there are numbers of screen shot apps saying "no need to root the phone". But actually, most of them do need to root the phone even they said no need.I can only do it by rooting the phone and pushing my app as system app.
I have a samsung galaxy young s6312. My phone has stock android 4.1.2 jellybean. I rooted it with framaroot using gandalf exploit. Its been 2 days since I rooted my phone, and it has freezes four times in these two days. By freezing, I mean that when I am playing a game, it suddenly stops responding and the screen goes black. I have to take the battery out and reinsert it. This never happened to me with my non rooted phone.

Any way to recover deleted files from the Samsung Galaxy S3 internal SD card without rooting the phone. I dont need to recover anything from the DATA partition, just the internal disk partition.
Ive tried several software and Windows and Ubuntu see my phone as a MTP device, but somehow the software doesnt detect it, even when i put it in USB debugging mode or connect it as a PTP device.
New to rooting etc. Have ordered a Jiayu G3S MTK6589T 1.5Ghz phone and wanted to get the phone rooted and CWM installed so I can back up the existing ROM and try some new ones out.
Have seen guides for the G3 with the older 1.2Ghz CPU and also some other phones with the MTK6589T CPU but was unsure if these would work or brick my phone etc.
G3S or has rooted one and got CWM installed successfully. I usually go for CyanogenMod or a simple stock ROM
Well I was really excited about rooting my phone, I flashed a ROM before backing up the stock ROM. Now when I turn on the phone it just loops the boot screen?

I seen these apps for rebooting, why r they needed, and what's the difference between normal and reboot recovery
I have not rooted my phone, and need to back everything up as I have a new phone coming (original had battery issues HTC and Radio Shack willing to address). Once I get new phone, _then_ I will finally root my phone and go forward. In the meantime, no point in rooting this one to install backup software, as I'll lose my data anyways. So, given that limitation, what can I backup? I would love to backup my mail account settings, for example.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOkay, so I've read things about rooting your EVO and one of my favorite aspects is the mobile hotspot/tethering thing you can get for free. I looked through the forums to see if there's an easier way of accomplishing this than rooting my whole phone. I've taken a few computer classes, so I have a decent knowledge base, but rooting just seems way over my head. Anyway, is it possible to do this without rooting the whole EVO?

View 3 Replies View RelatedObviously a noob, I have looked through the threads, and it appears you can restore a rooted phone to an un-rooted phone?
My question is, if I root my EVO and then have some sort of hardware issue that would possibly require a replacement or repair of the device by Sprint, can I restore it to it's pre-rooted condition such that Sprint or HTC cannot detect that it was rooted? Or, if I root it, should I just drop the repair insurance for it, because I am basically jumping off the insurance cliff when I root it?
