View 2 Replieshow I can save my voicemail off my S3 as an mp3 file (or any other format that will play on computer) so I can send it to another person? This is my first android so I'm not sure if there is a feature I'm missing? Is there an app or setting or something else? Also, I don't know if this matters but I'm not using visual voicemail or anything -- just dial-in voicemail.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to install the Android 4.3 update released yesterday. I have a Galaxy S4 SCH-i545 (Verizon). The phone currently runs stock firmware and is not rooted. When I press install now, the phone reboots, looks like it is updating, than says error and restarts. A message pops up when the phone restarts stating the update failed due to error 402. I tried to update via Kies, but it says there is no available update in Kies, but my phone says the update is available. I have a lot of data on the phone and I need my warranty to stay intact, so no Odin.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a rooted Galaxy S3 running PA 2.54. I used Goo Manager to install TWRP and download PA 3.0 and the latest Gapps to my SD card.
I booted into recovery. Did a factory reset, wiped cache, wiped dalvik. Then installed rom, gapps and did a reboot.
I get past the boot screen, but then I get two error messages: "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" and "Unfortunately, Setup wizard has stopped". I keep pressing ok, but it doesn't allow me to progress any further. I can't access anything else and the only thing I am able to do is hold down the power button to reboot.
I have made a back up and restored my phone back 2.54 and everything works fine. I tried it one more time and the same thing happened.

View 1 Replies View Relatedremove a voicemail notification on my Galaxy Nexus with stock ICS, unrooted.
Here's the catch: the voicemail message has a registered phone number (the carrier's voicemail number). However, the carrier changed this number, so if I try to access the voicemail through the notification, the number doesn't exist anymore. Accessing the new number does not remove the notification.
Is there a way to change this?
Already tried clearing phone app data with no luck.
I've had the notification that ICS 4.0.4 is now available for my Galaxy Nexus. I've tried to apply it a couple of times but it fails with the Android on his back with a Red Triangle over him.
The phone is rooted and encrypted. How to apply the change?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have this problem with my friends galaxy ace GT-S5839i: here because I don't know what to do I pulled the file framework-res.apk from system and then changed the extension to zip, and changed an image inside one of the folders.
After that I zipped the pack again (tried several zip options) and changed the extension back to apk My first question: Is this ok?
I copied the changed file to sdcard and using es explorer moved the file to system/framework. Imediately After answering if I wanted to overwrite the phone freezes and never booted again.
I restored the rom and tried several times with same result I tought the problem would be trying to overwrite a file that's in use but then I found a tool the decompiled the original apk, changed the image, compiled and signed it and made a flashable zip of it.
It gsve always error in trying to flash this on recovery so I extrated the compiled and signed new framwork apk and moved it to system with es explorer... The difference now is that it didn't froze the phone but started to show fc's everywhere. Rebooted, wipede cash and dalvik, messed up woth permissions... Everything I could think of and the result os always tbe same...
I have the Galaxy S Vibrant. It is suppose to come with the visual voicemail but when I try to install it it says it is not available.

View 11 Replies View RelatedBefore I updated my Galaxy S4 I had the option to hide apps. I hided a lot of apps that I didn't used like for example: internet, story album, TripAdvisor, S Planner etc.
Now I want to see my apps. I couldn't find them. I did some research and they told me to do this: apps, menu, uninstall/disable apps. It worked for me for some apps but not for all of them. I couldn't get for example S Planner, Internet etc. back. How can I get ALL of my (hidden) apps back?
I cant access my voicemail because the tone on the keypad is long. How do I change it so when I push a button when dialing, it is short.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure if this is an android problem, or a samsung i9000 problem, but either way it's an annoying problem that I'd love to find a solution for ?_? I simply cant get the alarm to work for me (overnight. it's fine in the very short term). It appears to be because the clock stops moving/updating when the phone goes to sleep, because when I turn the screen back on I can see that the time is off by multiple hours, depending upon when it stopped updating, and stays that way for a couple of seconds before changing to the correct time.
Things to note here..
I do NOT use a task killer
The alarm volume is up
I have tried the alarm both with and without the Automatic, network provided time setting. The clock still stops moving. I've not updated anything from the standard (UK) firmware
Alright this may have been asked a few times, or maybe it could not of been asked. I just can't find the thread related to answering this question.
Okay so my question is, can I flash Galaxo 1.6.2 or GAOSP "without" ODIN flashing or updating my firmware to 1.6? and not then what consequences would occur if I don't flash firmware update before GALAXO 1.6.2 flash. My phone firmware version is I7500ZHJA1 and I believe that is the latest firmware for my region which is still Android 1.5.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI got the Droid yesterday, and I'm trying to use Google Voice *just* for voicemail. However, it seems like I never get notifications about new voicemail, unless the app is open. Also, recorded voicemail is very soft when it's played back, almost too soft to hear.

View 16 Replies View RelatedAnyone having trouble with widgets stop updating? Like my clock/calendar/weather/news/pretty much any widget i have stops updating after an hour. So i look at my clock widget two hours later and it is an hour behind. Happens to ALL my widgets.Even the quick turn on/off wifi,bt,gps and such. They just stop updating/showing animation.I have ADW launcher installed. I am wondering if it is that. I do not really want to remove it as i hate the stock 3 button interface at the bottom (why do i need a contacts and phone, just use the phone to look thru contacts, wasted space IMO) and am quite keen on keeping the 5 button.Any ideas? If i power off the phone and turn it back on it's fine again for about an hour. SOmetimes randomly thru the day it will start updating and working fine again then randomly stop again.
View 12 Replies View RelatedIn the past when I get a voicemail in my Google Voice box the notification disappears after I listen to the message. Today I have a new voicemail and I go to listen to it in Google Voice and the notification still remains. Oddly, the number showing in the notification is the number of my Google Voice account and not the number of the caller. How do I clear this alert?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed RocketDial and AT&T Visual Voicemail. I had to change my voicemail password when setting up the AT&T visual voicemail app since I had forgotten it. I can leave a voicemail but new voicemail never appears in the AT&T app or on when I dial the VM thru RocketDial.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any app that instead of sending the voicemail to the network it records it on to the phone?
Voicemail for me is not included in my monthly minutes, so I can end up with quite a large percentage of my phone bill being voicemail.
I'm running RCMixS on my HTC Desire
I just got a Nexus 4 and activated it with a Straighttalk (at&t) SIMS card. I have been using Straighttalk for a while now and simply moved my cell # to this phone. I love the Nexus 4 so far although while I did something pretty silly.... I was messing around with the voicemail settings I accidentally deleted the Voicemail Number that was on the phone.
Now whenever I try to call my phone a voice message comes up which says "Sorry the person you have called does not have voice box set up ect...." Mind you that I did have a voicemail box set-up before I deleted this voicemail number on the phone. I have tried to replace the "Voicemail #" with my own cell phone number but that does not work. Also I have tried just holding down the number 1 but that same message comes up. When I call *86 it says "message cannot be completed as dialed".....
I can't move the icon I've tried everything like leaving myself a voicemail and deleting it, turning on and off, deleting any saved voicemail, removing sim and replacing. It won't go, how to remove it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI rooted my AT&T GS3, with the intentions of putting CM10 on it. However, I've realized that I have no real need for a custom ROM, as my phone already does everything it needs to. In addition, I don't want to risk bricking my phone.I got the notification for an update to Android 4.2.1, from what my phone is running now, 4.1.1. Honestly, I have no intention to add a new ROM now, and I really just want the features of the new update. So, my question is, if I update the OS on a rooted phone via an OTA update, is there any chance of my phone being bricked or all of my data being wiped? Overall, is it completely safe to update?
