My brother has an eken T02a tablet and recently i installed root explorer on it and my brother was playing with it and deleted /system and now it is not booting crying: there is a bootsplash screen but no boot loader and i dont know how to access recovery on this tablet.

So my pixcom tablet went bootloop and i flashed it ,it all went well until the flashing process, the progress bar show 15% and went 0% percent again. have tried all technique posted in the web but won't work. have tried all the Livesuite ver. (1.5-1.7). fail.what should i do?

I have had an EKEN T02 tablet for one year now. For almost one month every time I switch it on there is a straight line running through my screen.
Sometimes it is green and thinner and sometimes it is grey and thick. As my screen keeps working it gradually fades away but it never disappears.
My Quest tablet is accidentally locked yesterday it asking for gmail and password but i forgot the gmail id and password.So after a long search i found lots of things such as unlocking tablet pattern lock,gmail lock,pin lock etc.These topics only be successfull only when the tablet is in recovery mode.So i tried to put my tablet into recovery mode by pressing vol + and power button.But there appears a android bot lying with red traiangle exlamation.So i simply tried to access recovery menu by pressing power and the vol + .But nothing happens neither than a dead android bot lying down with a red traiangle.

I've been trying to put clockworkmod recovery on it with no success due to noT knowing the exact model of my tablet. I need to know how to put some kind of recovery on this so I can flash a new kernel on it. The one I have won't let me over clock the processor.

i've searched and found a guide to root all allwinner A13 generic SoC [URL] .... but on my device although USB debugging is selected and my ADB detects my LG Optimus 4x, no device is detected when i connects my Generic A13 tab.
Interestingly i can't seems to find anyway to enter stock recovery either. On my device there's a orientation slider (autorotate/portrait), power, Vol +/-, home key).
My device doesn't come with driver CD nor proper OEM driver on the web.
are there gonna be anyway to root my tablet?

At the back I can see m70008 maybe it's version of tablet. That tablet was blocked by too much write bad pattern and don't know google e-mail. So I tried do wipe data via adb, and probably I do wipe all . Tablet stuck on bootscreen, and system don't start. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have this tablet Microlab Spektru 1.2 Ghz RK2918 , 512 Mb DDR3 Ram. Not sure if it had 4.0. Actually it's not my tablet, my grandpa' bought it, anyway he noticed that the Wifi signal was very bad and someone told him that he could use a micro-sd for updating.
So he turned off, put the SD and "installed" android again. after this android started normally but the Touchscreen not working.
Also I found some firmwares, but i Still can't get into recovery mode, the tablet doesn't have a Home button. Just Up, Down Volume and Power.
I want to get a custum recovery because I can't access to my recovery mode it shows a foto of a droid, I tried rebooting from rom manager app, and from the power and Vol+ .. but nothing works you can check the foto in the attachments.

That's what happened: I've tried to flash a new recovery, but did it in a wrong way, so now I can't turn the device on. In both variants (usual boot with "Power" button or boot in recovery mode) I just get an Android logo and nothing more.

I just purchased a cheap 9.7" Android Tablet, Model AM09-D2. It came with ICS 4.0.4, has 16Gb ram and a dual core Cortex A9 CPU. I would like to know how I go about backing this thing up. It is rooted and has absolutely no blootwear installed. Is it possible to flash a custom recovery. Like TWRP or CWM to save a image of the rom. I have already did a data and app backup with Mybackup Pro. Now I would like to backup the Rom and maybe do dump. Is it possible and if so how? Not really that comfortable with ADB/fastboot, truthfully I don't understand what the difference is. I already have drivers setup for Samsung Galaxy Nexus on my Win 8 notebook. Will installing ADB/fastboot screw things up?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI rooted my galaxy tab 2 7.0 yesterday and flashed cm10.1. Everything was working great until I tried changing my boot animation. When I tried rebooting it rebooted but there was no boot animation and then once it rebooted half of the screen displayed black(it isn't broken because the backlight is on and it works fine when it is in recovery) I boote into recovery and tried restoring it from a backup I made of the stock rom but it keeps saying E: signature verification failed.

Now I am stuck in the loop of CWM Recovery mode. The tablet only opens recovery mode and desn't boot normally. I triesd to flash a new ROM but it says

This tablet doesn't have volume up or down button.It only has power, back and option button.
I reckon that I have deleted all the data from partitions such as boot, system, cache, etc all of them. Hence, the Nook tablet isn't starting into any mode except the recovery mode of ClockWorkMod. How to restore the boot entries of a Nook 16GB tablet?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a noname chinese made Rockchip 2918 based tablet PC that I am trying to root so I can use some tools to increase performance/etc.
I have ADB and the Android SDK installed.
I have the most recent Rockchip drivers installed.
I have Development Mode turned on on the tablet.
When I plug the device into USB, nothing happens other then the windows notification sound to let me know something was plugged in. No "searching for drivers" nothing. When I go to ADB and do a "ADB Shell" command, it says device not found.
If I boot the tablet into Recovery mode, connect USB, and repeat the above procedure, I get the same result.
Is there a seperate USB Recovery mode I need to get into? I read about this on other RK2918 based tablets and I have tried all the methods to no avail. Volume up and Power is the only combination that does something, and that just takes me into normal recovery mode.
Just a side note, If I connect my HTC Evo 4G LTE and try the shell command, it finds it instantly.
My friend have a ChiliGreen tablet, yesterday he reboot it after stop all application who were running on it and after the reboot the tablet goes automaticaly in recevery mode and now every time he reboot it goes to recovery mode i make a factory reset but nothing always recovery mode.

1. USB Host
2. USB Linux Drivers
3. Root
I have all three and the driver is a PL-2303 USB to Serial Driver. From what I can gather I need to put these c.
files into a specific folder on my tablet and then edit a couple of files to load these drivers on startup ?
Am I going down the right root ? or completely off the mark ?
I've tried to do alot of reading but not getting far really because most tablets either have built in gps or they dont normally have a host usb port.
Linux Kernel 2.4.31 and above already includes built-in drivers for PL-2303H, PL-2303XA/HXA and PL-2303HXD.
NOTE: Google Android OS is also based on Linux kernel so it also supports PL2303.
does that mean it already has a driver installed and I'm just missing something ? How would I check ?
My mom bought a $200 tablet from some no name company named linsay. It's model is a Cosmos F-10HD. It's an all right little tablet but it comes without the play store. When I try simply installing the play store apk it works for a while until i try to actually get an app but then it crashes and i can no longer open the store. I think this may be due to read write permissions but I don't think I can modify those without root access. So is there some way to get the play store working properly on this tablet without root access? And if not is there some way I can root this device and then install it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to track down a solution to my problem, but every solution seems to contain a "Boot into recovery mode" line which I cannot do. I attempted to update a rom that I had installed, and now I am stuck at the google logo with the unlock icon. I cannot boot into recovery with the volume keys and power, and now I cannot figure out how to use adb to recover the phone, as it cannot recognize it.
Is there anyway I can access this phone while it is in this state from my computer and recover it somehow. I tried following leads that people have posted in other threads, but it seems like most suggestions involve "Use adb", yet every adb tutorial involves the phone being in recovery mode. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall drivers via Wug's Toolkit, but when I plug my phone in, I am not able to install the drivers properly. I try to run adb items through the console, yet it does not recognize my device.
Is there anyway to install the necessary software I need and recover my phone while I cannot get past the google logo screen?

I have a Mac and a PC, both with ADB installed, but no matter if I'm in recovery, or Odin Download Mode, I can not access my device via ADB.
