I have a galaxy grand which is on 4.1.2 and the update for 4.2.2 has been officially been released for like a 6 weeks and I still haven't got it yet , I check daily but it keeps telling me that I am on the latest update .I also tried on kies but my device couldn't connect to it for some reason .

Can i udate the software once i put my Digicel sim card in this S4 because the phone came with 4.2 installed but i have read it is elligible for an update to 4.3. Since it is technically an at&t phone but unlocked. I dont know much about this kind of thing. I tried to do it via Kies and it says that I cant update this version using Kies. I never received any update whenever I check it only says update interrupted and no software available. While android 4.3 was out on at&t and it's been weeks. What should I do? My phone is not even rooted.

I've recently been trying to finally update to 4.3 and it seems my phone is stuck on an old update. It's 28.5MB and it'll show there's an update, I'll download it, it'll say it was successful. I'll then tell it to restart & install, what happens next is it looks like it just does a simply restart. It shuts off, shows the Samsung startup screen, and then I'm back to my homepage. Because of this, I can't update the phone any further. I tried going a Hard Reset (holding vol up, home, then power) and delete data/formating drive and that didn't fix it. I also tried going to the All Applications -> Google Services Framework -> Clear Cache -> Stop Service and what this does it brings up the same page for the 28.5MB download and it does the same thing it's always done.

I just recently removed my custom rom in slot 1 so all slots except the stock are empty. I booted back into my stock rom I tried to get the AT&T Update to 4.3, it downloaded and rebooted to install and said that the install was Interrupted. How I can get the 4.3 update to work on it? I am guessing I need to remove safestrap and restore the stock system restore image but I don't know how.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'd rather have an up to date phone than a rooted phone, I think. I just have it rooted to eliminate the shutter sound in the camera anyway.
Some threads say that they "lost root" when they updated. Does that mean I can just update and it'll be back to non-rooted normal? That would be easier than un-rooting, but I'm afraid to just click the OK button in case it messes things up.
Since The new Galaxy S4 update I can no longer hear my downloaded music on my amazon mp3 app unless I listen on my headphones but even then I have to turn off my headphones and back on for every single song. The songs show up and are listed correctly. I can hit play but I get no sound. All other sounds on my phone work fine.

Now the only other update ive gotten for this device, I had to install via KIES and it was a firmware upgrade, but NOW this time, KIES is not seeing that an update is available. Just says "firmware is up to date"
Ive done alot of research and I believe that the issue is that I removed bloatware after I rooted the phone and back then I did not understand the value of a backup so I cannot restore the bloatware that I removed.
Ive already tried temporarily unrooting and installing with voodoo unroot, Ive tried restoring it to factory settings/wiping data and ive tried odin and clockwork mod to install the update but it fails everytime.
I even downloaded the triangle blocker and reset my flash counter to 0.

I tried to install the ROM and gave problem, not installed, returned to screen recupeeracao (Volume + Home + Power). Hence I went to install GAPPS, ai installed, rebooted the machine and Playstore not worked, I reseted the factory settings and native apps google all gone, and I can not find the gapps for my S6802, downloaded some, including those but the problem continues.
I downloaded the original ROM pro on the website of Samsung S6802 and try install, the error, "E: can not mount / sdcard" or "E: can not open / tmp / sideload / package.zip".
I try to install the rom by Odin 3.0.7 and not out of "setupconnection" already spent over an hour and not much happens.
I have used my Galaxy Note 2 together with an All-Share dongle showing screen mirroring with projector. This has been working perfectly for months but when I got N2 updated to Android 4.3 the screen mirroring gets connected but immediately disconnects.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI received the notification there was a new software update available(I assume it is the 4.3 update) so i went ahead with the update. The s3 was on charge so no problems there.
The update started and went to 100% and then the device restarted and now it is frozen on the Samsung start up screen. I have tried a reset (power button and home button) but this did not have any affect the Start up screen remained,i tried to boot the phone is safe mode(power home and vol up buttons) and this did not have any effect either.
I pulled out the battery to restart the phone and it still remains frozen on the samsung start up sceen.
Ci need my phone for business over the weekend and i dont have a backup phone.

how to get the Samsung keyboard to be the same on both phones. All settings are the same. the new phone's keyboard doesn't have the small punctuation symbols on the letter keys (like the old phone does). I know this may seem like a bit of a ridiculous thing to have an issue with, but I'm kind of... particular... with the way my phone looks and is set up. That, and I find it to be annoying to have to go to the Symbols section of the keyboard to use any form of punctuation.
I have samsung galaxy nexus with android 4.2.1 .. I install Kies driver in windows 7 (on my laptop) , but my computer cannot recognize my phone. the phone is charged and when the phone plug in to my computer, sometimes the phone shows the message of USB Debugging connected and connected as a media device in top of screen and shows the pic of these but after a second again this message remove. Instead of vibrating and playing the required sounds, it will simply beep a couple times and that's it. Checked that there is no newer update. Also, installed Kies 3.0 and it tells me my OS is not supported for updates via Kies either.

I recently bought a Note 3 from someone and when I pull out the S pen, it shows me Action Memo, Scrap Book, Screen Write, Shortcut and S Calender. My Screen write takes own screen shot when I press it and doesn't allow me to write and it's not like the other Note 3. Instead of Pen Window it shows S Calender . When I click on the Scrap book it opens my recent apps window. Why my one is different?

The numbers are not clickable, although the websites are.
So about a month ago I tried to flash a rom onto my galaxy s4. I waited for about three hours and nothing happened so I did home+down+on and clicked no so it would boot back up. I want to reset my galaxy but when I go home+up+on it puts me into downloading mode and it won't let me reset my device and wipe my data. I tried using Odin on my computer but I kept getting error messages. I'd really like to unroot my device and have it to factory settings again.
