i have been using my rooted XJlo with stock firmware and kernl. Amd the BL is unlocked... I hav been tring to install the new v5 home launcher on my phone but it gives error "same packave nam with conflictiong signature already installed" Even i tried uninstalling my curent xperia home and again it says " application not installed" why should i do?

I saw a few xperia lauchers but all without. On other phone i had xperia laucher (z i think) with options in menu like drawer 4x4, 5x5, 5x6 etc, transparency of apps list background, desktop drawer, speed and other. So I`m looking for laucher like that for 4.2.1 zopo hd 1080p. I one with option but has gor only one option- rotation.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a strange problem after using cm10 for a few weeks. suddenly my home and volume buttons aren't working most of the time. When I want to decrearse/increase volume and press the volume button (no matter if i press it fast again and again or if i wait a few second between pressing) it only goes one step louder every 5 seconds. Also when I want to lower volume. i also cant use cwm recovery cause my home button only works maybe once per hour. Now I have twrp touch recovery.
What i tried:
- wiped everything several times
- flashed gb and ics stock firmwares
- flashed different kernels
I have rooted my phone a couple of times and the last time I did it ran really hot (as hot as 107 degrees) so I did a factory reset and after words it runs fine other than the fact that the lock screen and the home Key dont work anymore.

When I press the home button (middle one) I get a prompt to select to 'Complete Action using Home or Timescape' This is quite annoying. I want the default action to be Home (not Timescape) but despite ticking the box in the prompt it still pops up this box.

I cannot figure out how to add a new home page. I'm at ten right now. If I use Settings/Edit to get the multiple page view of home screens, there is no plus sign to add a home page. I must be missing something.
I am using an LG Enlighten, not as a phone but simply something to connect to hotspots with, check my email, and such things. Since I was not doing anything vital with it, I didn't put much thought into backing anything up.
Now, irritated with the default web browser, Bing and suchlike, I downloaded a bloatware remover and deleted the browser, along with two or three programs that looked like Verizon bloatware. As it turns out, one of those was my home launcher.
I did back these apps up in the program itself, but that isn't much use since I can't even access the program without a home screen.
I realized what had happened when I pressed Back to get out of the app. Instead, it went to the last app I had used. And then the one before that, and before that, and so on. I tried to keep pressing back until it would take me to the market, where I could open up the bloatware removal app and restore the backups, but eventually I came to a black screen where I could do nothing at all.
I turned off the phone, and was unable to turn it back on without performing a factory reset. Now, the phone goes to the Activation screen, and I am able to connect to USB, but that's it. The escape sequence won't bring me to the home screen - the launcher is apparently still gone.
Is there a way that I can restore the home launcher?
OK so I've had this LG L70..So the stock launcher is OK but no wear near better them sum or these aftermarket launchers... Next launcher in general. Well after downloading next Launcher I tried to set up my home screens with the same widgets I had on the stock launcher with no luck. It tells me there is a problem with the widgets tap to reload. When I tap they disappear.

My SGS2 with CM7 (currently 7.2) forgets which app I chose as home app. If I press the home button, the dialog to choose the home app pops up. If I select one, check default, it forgets this setting again, asks again, first it could last some hours, after a while this shortens to minutes. This bug occurs a about 4-5 weeks after a hard after reset, now the 3rd or 4th time. My guess is that some data storage file contains corrupt data.
I don't want to do another hard reset only for this one bug. So any way to delete data of an certain system app, a specific file or something else to reset the home app setting to a clear, hard reset like state?
i need a simple lightning fast home launcher. The only feature i care about is folders. My processor ain't powerful, thus the requirement.

I run it on my Droid Incredible and I wouldn't want to run any other ROM, but since I have the paid versions of both ADW and Launcher Pro I don't have any need for the free version of ADW that comes packed with CM7. I found a mod that replaces ADW with the default Gingerbread launcher, and I've found that I prefer the stock launcher over any of the replacements I've tried. It's fast, minimal, and it just works. My only problem is that launcher2 only has five home screens, and I want seven. A Google search brought me to a version of the stock launcher with seven home screens, and I was able to install it on the latest CM7 nightly, but whenever I pressed the phone icon I got an error message telling me that "this application is not installed on your phone". I tried the launcher on both OMGB and OMFGB with the same results. Is there a version of the stock Gingerbread launcher out there that I can use on CM7 that has seven home screens and a working phone shortcut?

I use mine for work and sync up no problem using Moxier with my corporate exchange server.I want to also setup my personal email using another program. I have tried the stock email program (underwhelming) and K9. I cant get either one to sync with my outlook. I can set up my email address in them, and as long as my outlook on my home PC is closed I can receive emails. As soon as it is opened, emails arrive on the PC and do not show up on my phone.What am I missing? What is the terminology for what I want to do? I am running Outlook 2003, and I dont really use calendar or other functions but I want both our phones ad PC to all e in sync mail wise.
