General :: WhatsApp History Restore Does Not Contain Images

I've just re-installed WhatsApp. I manually backed up my chat history before uninstalling using the built-in backup feature. When I re-installed it, the installation successfully found the backup and automatically restored it. I can see all my messages but the problem is the thumbnails of previous pictures do not open the full image. When I click on the thumbnail it says "Sorry, this media file doesn't exist on your SD card."
However when I check the folder, WhatsApp/Media/Images on my internal SD card, they are all still in there. It seems like the links are broken. Any new pictures that I receive after the re-installation work fine. And these new pictures are also in the said folder along with the previous pictures.
I have tried forcing a rescan of the media; moving all the pictures into another folder, rescanning, moving them back in then rescanning. I am on CM10. The WhatsApp folder is on the internal SD partition as it's always been (even in CM7).

I noticed that my whatsapp has stopped sending images now. I don't share material that would infringe any copyrights.
Any image I send won't even get delivered to the server (the first tick).
PS.Already tried a restart and a reinstall.

Just Bought the iPhone 5s and now i had to move my Whatsapp From SGS2 to iphone 5s But i have searched alot and came to a conclusion that there is no way i can transfer the whatsapp chats from my SGS2 to the new iPhone5s,,
if there is some way i can manage to do that?

I backed up my chats in whatsapp. I reinstalled whatsapp. It asks for restore option but when i click restore it takes 4-5 seconds and directly proceed to Set profile picture and profile name. After that there are no messages in whatsapp. I had many important messages.

I have a Nabi 2 that was rooted almost a year ago to gain access to the Google Play store.My needs have changed since then and I wanted to restore it to factory settings.
If I boot normally the Nabi is stuck here:
I have managed to get it to boot to TRWP by pressing the power and + keys. I see this:
There are no images to "restore" under the restore tab. This is what I see:
provide me with a kernel file or some tips on how to restore the machine to it's 'out-of-the-box' configuration. I want to donate this device to a young child and need to get it back into a kid friendly mode.

For SMS there's GoSMS Cloud that works, however limit is to 1000 and i've reached it. For call logs, no idea.

I copied the whole WhatsApp folder from File moved it to a new Android device. I replaced the whole WhatsApp folder on the new device. I cannot retrieve the chat history ....

I think my evo is starting to lose itself. It's been doing some weird stuff lately. Not showing icons/images on website unless I deleted the cache/history/restart the phone. I also lost pinch to zoom until I restarted the phone. It has done the icon thing twice. A couple of minutes ago, it restarted itself. I'm concerned but so far it's not enough to justify a trip to the store. I would return it and get another one but the store would charge me $35.

I installed android x86 asus eee pc 1005pe netbook everything works fine but i want to install whatsapp on it.I installed whatsapp on it and this is what i get
We can't identify your device. Please turn off the phone,take out the battery, restart it and try again.Is there anyway i can use whatsapp installation of my phone and import it to android x86? Titanium Backup cant be used becouse you cant root android x86.

I got the apk file of whatsapp, and I renamed to .zip to extract the contents to change the icons by replacing them in the drawable-hdpi folder. Now the problem is that I zipped all the contents and renamed it to apk again but after this the file isn't getting installed (I have uninstalled whatsapp on my phone because we cannot replace it).

I am new to the Android platform and I am using whatsapp on my GS4, I enabled the option to show popup for all notifications, it work fine and wake up the phone when I get a message but when I press the View button it do nothing, It should unlock the phone and open the message but this is not happening, I must manually unlock the screen then I find whatsapp already showing the message..

HTC desire V. Whenever I try to open whatsapp from notification drop down the chat window of watsapp appears and the aplication closes. I have been facing this problem last four months.
I have also tried communicating with whatsapp support team but only solution offered to me was update to latest version. I have followed the instructions and upadated to latest version but the problem still exists
I have also consulted htc care center for the problem but no solution offered and the only solution was flash the handset. Currently I have uninstalled whatsapp for last two days n theres no problem with my mobile.

When I use whatsapp to send a picture,as I select it,from my gallery,and it asks me if I want to send it to my chosen contact and I say yes,it then sends the picture before I can add any text with it.So the recipient ends up getting two messages from me,the picture and then the the text.My phone is Motorola MotoG with KitKat4.4.2,if that makes any difference?

I have a SGSII and recently i switched from the official ICS rom to CM9 (build date 20 april). I expected to get a better battery life since CM9 is so populair. Unfortunately this isn't the case and so i want to switch back. Only thing is, last time i switched, all my whatsapp conversations were blanc. I couldn't retrieve any old conversations. I know you can email the conversations to yourself but that's not what i want (or is it possible to use these emails in some kind of way to get the conversations back into whatsapp???). Is it possible to backup all my conversations so i can put them back into whatsapp after i flashed the phone to another rom (probably the official rom).
Also, as you can see, I'm not fond of CM9 although this is the most populair rom. Did i do something wrong? I'm a heavy whatsapp user and even when i'm charging the battery drains when using whatsapp (brightness auto and stable WiFi connection). I never game on my device or use bluetooth or gps. I mostly use my phone for facebook, whatsapp, twitter and browsing. Also my phonesignal drops sometimes and my 3G is also worse than before.
Is there a ROM which will give me with my requirements the best Battery life + phonesignal (3G)??
