Oct 6, 2011I installed android x86 asus eee pc 1005pe netbook everything works fine but i want to install whatsapp on it.I installed whatsapp on it and this is what i get
We can't identify your device. Please turn off the phone,take out the battery, restart it and try again.Is there anyway i can use whatsapp installation of my phone and import it to android x86? Titanium Backup cant be used becouse you cant root android x86.

Jan 22, 2012I'm looking for a android-notifier (code.google.com/p/android-notifier/) like app/software.
It should be capable of sending notifications for SMS/Calls/WhatsApp to my Mac. Preferably via bluetooth, but Wifi is also an option.
Android-Notifier sadly doesn't support WhatsApp and is very unreliable on my DHD. Sometimes it skips received SMS and bluetooth isn't working at all.

May 15, 2012I have a SGSII and recently i switched from the official ICS rom to CM9 (build date 20 april). I expected to get a better battery life since CM9 is so populair. Unfortunately this isn't the case and so i want to switch back. Only thing is, last time i switched, all my whatsapp conversations were blanc. I couldn't retrieve any old conversations. I know you can email the conversations to yourself but that's not what i want (or is it possible to use these emails in some kind of way to get the conversations back into whatsapp???). Is it possible to backup all my conversations so i can put them back into whatsapp after i flashed the phone to another rom (probably the official rom).
Also, as you can see, I'm not fond of CM9 although this is the most populair rom. Did i do something wrong? I'm a heavy whatsapp user and even when i'm charging the battery drains when using whatsapp (brightness auto and stable WiFi connection). I never game on my device or use bluetooth or gps. I mostly use my phone for facebook, whatsapp, twitter and browsing. Also my phonesignal drops sometimes and my 3G is also worse than before.
Is there a ROM which will give me with my requirements the best Battery life + phonesignal (3G)??

Every time whatsapp compresses the video, it recived corrupted (only voice with black picture).

Apr 22, 2014I've installed kitkat 4.4.2 on Friday and everything was really ok. Today I realized when someone is calling me on Viber,there are no contacts,the same is with WhatsApp.
And when I want to use my phone contacts,they are all gone. Then I need to copy the contacts from the sd card(cause there is no option to show contacts from sim card) and they showed up,when I click on Viber again,the contacts are gone again.
