I got the apk file of whatsapp, and I renamed to .zip to extract the contents to change the icons by replacing them in the drawable-hdpi folder. Now the problem is that I zipped all the contents and renamed it to apk again but after this the file isn't getting installed (I have uninstalled whatsapp on my phone because we cannot replace it).

I am getting a similar error as follows:
Error: Activity class {org.me.androidapplication2/com.albertrosa.DEMO.MainActivity} does not exist.
I have modified the manifest to reflect the change:

there is more to the manifest but this is all that I have changed. is there something I am missing or doing wrong. I am using netbeans to build this app.
I updated to 2.1 on sunday and haven't listened to MP3s yet (actually pulled sd card when updated). I was using meridian player before the update. I went through and downloaded all my old apps from the market again, but this time there was meridian pioneer. I went to listen to music today and the only thing that pops up is the stuff I've downloaded from amazon directly onto the phone. I started searching the sd card on the computer and there's a folder called lost.dir that is a little over 4 gigs that would be about the amount of music I had on there. All the files in there were renamed with numbers that range from 4 digits to 6 digits. I have all my music on the computer and I'll just put it back on, but I just wanted to make crystal clear that deleting this folder is an alright thing to do, and I'm not going to screw anything else up by deleting the entire folder.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a SGSII and recently i switched from the official ICS rom to CM9 (build date 20 april). I expected to get a better battery life since CM9 is so populair. Unfortunately this isn't the case and so i want to switch back. Only thing is, last time i switched, all my whatsapp conversations were blanc. I couldn't retrieve any old conversations. I know you can email the conversations to yourself but that's not what i want (or is it possible to use these emails in some kind of way to get the conversations back into whatsapp???). Is it possible to backup all my conversations so i can put them back into whatsapp after i flashed the phone to another rom (probably the official rom).
Also, as you can see, I'm not fond of CM9 although this is the most populair rom. Did i do something wrong? I'm a heavy whatsapp user and even when i'm charging the battery drains when using whatsapp (brightness auto and stable WiFi connection). I never game on my device or use bluetooth or gps. I have 2 ThL devices: w200 & w100s, and for both I having the same problem.
Every time whatsapp compresses the video, it recived corrupted (only voice with black picture).
I tried to use LGCAMERA (MPEG4) as well, but the problem still exist.
I've installed kitkat 4.4.2 on Friday and everything was really ok. Today I realized when someone is calling me on Viber,there are no contacts,the same is with WhatsApp.
And when I want to use my phone contacts,they are all gone. Then I need to copy the contacts from the sd card(cause there is no option to show contacts from sim card) and they showed up,when I click on Viber again,the contacts are gone again.
How can I move a copy of the messages from iphone to android? I have more than one copy of the messages, can I merge them??
