Currently I see that the wallpapers I download gets uploaded to google +, but if this happens to movies, that is bad.
It's there a way to auto-upload full size videos to Google+ like the photos do?
EVERY single VIDEO the Google+ (Google Photos, whatever its called) app auto-uploads the resolution is changed to either 640x480 or 480x480.
I have done some searching on this problem and the consensus is that there is some sort of a cap on uploading videos to Youtube that are larger than about 10 mb. If you try to upload a larger video Evo then says it is waiting to use WiFi to do the upload. This seems like a Sprint cap to me to prevent their network from having to handle the bandwidth of uploading anything but small videos. (what do we pay the extra $10 for? That's for another discussion.).SO, now that I am rooted, does anyone know how to change the settings and remove the cap so that I can upload larger videos via 3G or 4G without having to use a WiFi connection? I am rooted and on stock 3.29.651.5 Android 2.2. I do not want to use flash a custom ROM just for this ability.

Problem is that all teh WIFIs in my hood are password protected. any ideas to work around this? Maybe my settings are off? I did transfer a crappy piss poor video that I shot with a Blackberry 8330 that I put on my SD card to Youtube with no problems.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running stock 2.2 OTA on my incredible. I attempted to upload a vid to youtube via "share" in the video album and failed. At first I thought it might be the camera locking the file. So I kill the camera app. Try again, nothing. It fails. I connect to my WiFi @ home see if it helps to no avail. It keeps trying to upload for a few times and eventually fails. I had to USB them to my pc and then upload them from there.

I have an app that instructed me to copy some data from my computer to the SDCard. So I plugged the Droid into the computer, mounted my Droid SDCard, looked at the directory, and copied the file. There are a bunch of files and folders listed (e.g. backups for apps, album artwork, etc.) as being on the SDCard. But when I go into Astro on the Droid and select "SDCARD" it shows "directory is empty." I don't get it. Why can't I see the folders and files on the SDCard that I can see on the computer screen?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI connected my android phone to my PC via USB cable and created a folder and file at "F:/Android/mymusic/so_happy.mp3". What I am trying to with my program on the phone is to list the contents of "F:/Android/mymusic/" (however that is represented on the device, I think it is something like /mnt/sdcard/Android/mymusic/ but that is not working). So far I am not getting anywhere. A listing of my code is posted below. Basically what it does is checks the directory for file contents, stores it in an arraylist of strings, and then is added to a spinner. So far, files is always null and "song0" and "song1" just get added to the spinner. What I want is to see "so_happy.mp3" there instead.

Well I'm trying to put busybox on my droid. I've got it on there but I'm having problems with making a directory on my phone, which I need to do to continue.
Anyway, what's happening is, ill put in mkdir /system/xbin and it returns "mkdir failed. Read only filesystem." This is after Ive already launched busybox. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.
