General :: Tablet Touchscreen Doesn't Work?

I have a problem with my chinese generic tablet:
Model: Mahdi M6
Android: 4.0.3
Led: Blue[url]...
My girlfriend dropped a glass of soda on it, I could clean and dry all now works perfectly the screen, but the touch screen stopped walking.
I wanted to get into recovery mode (Vol Up + Power) but I get an android with a red triangle and did not display any options.Get the manufacturer to install ROM from SD but since I can not go into recovery mode I find it impossible.Know it's a generic Chinese tablet but how I could do to get it working again.

This is the 2nd time now that this has happened, and both times it has been when my phone was plugged into an outlet and charging. I was on a bus ride and had my phone charging while I was using it pretty heavily - Google Talk, web viewing, etc. Basically, some aspects of the screen would stop working. For instance, the "space bar" wouldn't register when I touched it, and certain other letters. Overall, the touch screen was pretty unresponsive. The problem only went away later after I had unplugged it for some time. During this problem, I reset the phone, reset the calibration - nothing worked.

We can setup a vnc software or use remote desktop in windows 8 to access it on any android tablet with a vnc software.I have installed windows 8 on my pc and I do not have a touchscreen.I have a 10.1 inch android tablet. I have setup remote desktop on windows 8 and can access my pc's display on my tablet. But it can be used only with the mouse pointer given on screen. When I try to slide my finger on the screen for example, to navigate in the new start screen, instead of scrolling, the display of the screen moves and the blank space appears. This is because the vnc app is designed to work with a pc os that requires mouse.
But since this is windows 8, optimised for touchscreens, I want to use my tablet as the touchscreen monitor for windows 8 to use it as a tablet. I will keep my pc on and access it o n my tablet. Is this possible? Does vnc software for android that supports touch input for windows 8.

The problem is with the touchscreen as it does not work. i have done a factory reset using a mouse but that did not work, is there anything else I can try like flashing it using my PC?

I have so far found two bugs in Galaxo 1.6.3:
a) Speaker doesn't work in call (very weak). works well in ringtones etc.
b) Scrolling contacts by letter doesn't work.
Other than that this is a leap forward, especially with the overclock options!
Both bugs, as well as others, fixed in 1.6.3.1 update!

I have Navon Platinum 10 and I bricked it.I can still upload firmware to the device via Livesuit.All I need is stock or custom firmware.Device is based on Allwinner A10.I tried many roms, but i couldn't find working ones. Best firmware i have found runs, but touchscreen and button's don't work.

My problem is my computer stopped recognizing my tablet as a removable device through the USB cable. I've tried every solution, like going into device manager uninstalling all the usb drives etc... I even downloaded a program to see all the usb connections. Still nothing. There is no problem with my USB ports because I can charge my tablet through USB but my PC just doesn't pick it up. I've changed the MTP and PTP settings as well.
I'm pretty sure it started after I paired my tablet to PC over bluetooth. I think that's what caused the problem. Maybe my PC want's bluetooth to trump the USB connection (even with bluetooth turned off on my device)? I tried google searching but I'm not having much luck.
I tried my wifes laptop and hers picks it up, so I've narrowed the problem to my PC.

I bought a bricked Bruneau tablet and wanted to stock flash it. But the "script" named folder that i put it on the sdcard was for other kind of wonder media processor. I have a WM8505+ procesor and the software was for WM8605. Now the tablet does not turn on, black screen, no sound nothing. I saw on other forums and youtube that i can shortcircuit 2 pins from a Samsung chip on tablet motherboard but it`s not working.

My tablet had 1mobilemarket installed instead of play store, but since I believe play store is better and I wish to have my gmail linked with my devices, I tried to install it. However, it won't work. I can download and install it just fine, but when I click on it I just get a white screen and it crashes.

Trying to figure out how to get a working Android tablet to play in my car's USB port. Apparently the SGS3 Easy UMS app works, where you are able to play music through the car using that app, as it has a sim card slot to fix the issue where usually the car will say device not supported, as is my issue with the Nexus 4.
I was trying to get a Nexus 7 tablet installed in my car, without redoing all the stereos etc. to get USB sound, but it seems that may be the only way to go. I really want a USB connection, and not Bluetooth / Aux, as the sound quality is inferior...
Car: Chevy Cruze 2012 Tablet of choice: Nexus 7, but may go with a Galaxy Tab, if I'd be able to use USB that way.

I have Tablet PC Q8 model gs701b. Firstly it worked properly but i decided to change rom. After i install new rom Front camera stopped to respond. Tablet didn't recognize it. (It thinks that front camera doesn't exist :X ) And the other problem is that rear camera doesn't work properly either. It shows show image such as in mirror :X I have tried to install on it many other roms Such as 1) TF-20121031-Q8-0329camera.zip (Doesn't work touchscreen) 2012092002_Q8_TF.zip (Doesn't work touchscreen). Q8-New-UPGRADE_FAST.zip- (Works) and Now I have OVO light Update 2 It works great but camera still doesn't work properly. :X what to do ?

I bought a tablet for my wife. Not the best thing out there but hey, she likes the solitaire on it. The amazon app store sucks. I want the "real" app store..... I've tried downloading a bunch of diff versions. But nothing wants to work. I got one to work, well, somewhat. It let access it and play around. It wouldn't let me d/l anything. Any good app is in the Google play store.

i tried to connect my wireless Xbox 360 Controller over an OTG-wire with my Lenovo s6000l Tablet. The lights on my controller and wireless adapter show me that my controller is connected, but my tablet show me no reactions. The App BT/USB Joystick Center does not find the controller. I tried to download the Vendor files from another thread in this Forum and copied them on to my Device.
I even tried to connect my PSX-Controller (PS1) over an PSX to USB adapter with my device, but the buttuns had a bad configuration. The app Sixaxis Compatibility Checkers tells me that my controller is found when i click on Start but when i press Pair Controllers it says that he couldnt find any controller and i should connect one through USB.

I have bought an Acme TB04 tablet and it does not originaly have the google play market, only the mobile 1 market, I have tried for the past 2 days to get google play to work, but I always get a message that google play has stopped when i launch the app. I have updated the services and framework with no good results.

This happens rarely but is anoying.
I'll be doing something in landscape and the screen hangs.
It well self correct within 2 to 20 seconds.
I can manually correct it by flipping the phone to portrait and back.
The manual correction can be fast. Too fast for the app to change orientation.
It's like the gyroscope kicks the touch capability back in!??
I've seen it in the home screen (launcher pro), browser, games
I saw it before the update, root, and launcher pro
I did a hard reset a while back, no dice.
Anyone else have this issue?

When I used my android phone before, the USB storage worked fine. But later, my android phone didn't work and I tried to restore the memory, blow on the two ends of the USB cable, checked on the SD card and blowed on my USB slot and the phones slot.I tried to look up for who had this problem too and someone said about installing kies. After when I installed kies, I found out it is just for transfering files over wifi but I didn't want that.

My phone's usb works pretty much perfect, adb and the usb storage are working (HTC One M7). But when i do "adb reboot-bootloader" the pc just says "the usb device fails to enumerate or something like that. Everything works except for Fastboot and i dont know why. Has it something to do with Win 8.1? I never tried it on another machine before.

Recently purchased Xolo A500, I have been trying to build CWM in [url]....but nothing works.
I have tried three times but none works.
Provided with a custom recovery.fstab but still wont work.
I can provide the stock recovery.img
BTW, in recovery.fstab provided in builder.clockworkmod.com after it has finished the build the list is
# mount points fstype device [device2]
/boot mtd boot[url]....
Has my recovery.fstab got any errors???
The online CWM builder doesn't work???

i have a problem with this application, my friend today in school tell me about that application and i downloaded it free from google play product, when i installed it i run it, i have rooted my android already my version is 2.2.2, i started application and my friend telled me that i need to install driver when i install driver i run again but then i got problem, he just show me in second black screen and boop exit, i dont now what to do? I reinstall several times but nothing, i want this application because i think i can play some games with Chainfire 3d that i before cant play.

We have several android devices in the family and only one bluetooth mouse/keyboard. we prefer joining the tablets with hard peripherals when not on the go.
Here's the problem: one of the tablets' screen is burnt out so I have it plugged into a television via hdmi. I can look at the tv to estimate where to touch the tablet to sync up the bluetooth peripherals, but it's tedious and takes too long. We're swapping the bluetooth peripherals constantly so it would be better if the tablet "remembered" the bluetooth devices and didn't need to be paired each time. I realize that bluetooth doesn't work that way, but there has to be a way to do this, or a better way at least.

I'm trying out both the Galaxy S3 and the LG Nexus 4 on AT&T.
When I was using the S3, I just inserted my SIM card and I was good to go. I like to use the Speedtest app when I'm out and about to see what speeds I'm getting, and the app worked just fine on the S3.
Last week, I got the LG Nexus 4 and inserted the SIM card and was also up and running. However, the Speedtest app does not work out in the field. It works just fine on my WiFi network but, when I try it outside, it just gives a large ping number and then does nothing. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Speedtest app, but still nothing.

I'm having issues with Internet. Google sign-in, Facebook sign-in, Twitter etc I can't go to Google Play for the first time i.e. Accept screen then I can use WiFi to work. nothing works with WiFi if I connect the Data it works. But in browser http sites works fine.
I'm using a Belkin router. I tried 3 different Android's same problem. I tried using Google DNS address still no go. I updated the Routers firmware as well.
