Recently i downloaded some old app (Quadrapop from SE xperia) , It loads fine but when i have to choose my language it just don't respond to my touches .I installed it on my Galaxy s2 i9100 , then on table -same thing on both
I can send apk file if needed.

i have been unable to move/install apps to my sd card ever since changing to MIUI I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the ROM or not (i think i may have insalled applications to SD on a previous GB version of MIUI)
I am using a rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 with the latest MIUI based on 4.0.4. before MIUI i was on CM7 stable and i remember messing around with some settings there to try and get my phone to read music off the sd card as well as internal memory-(where all my downloaded music was going). I also may have done a dodgy partition on my old 32gb micro sd or some how partitioned my internal storage of my phone...

when i go to move a 'moveable' app eg. Paypal through 'Link2Sd' it comes up with an error saying "pkg:/data/app/com.paypal.android.p2pmobile-1.apk Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_CONTAINER_ERROR]
when i go to move a 'moveable' app through 'App 2 SD Pro' it says 'couldn't move app'

I just install this rom. It's amazing smooth. I have some problem when I play HD 3d Games. The game crashed and not responding. I've tried to move to sd card. Same crash, then reinstall via root explorer, its Same. (asphalt6, x-plane, reckless racing n some application).
Is it incompatibility with ics or graphic issue?

I have a samsung galaxy running android and would really like to hook it up to my touchscreen in my car. I know there is a module called mimics that allows it to be done. It is difficult to install into a monitor tho. Any way to connect it to a touchscreen another way? Maybe a Mirroring app and cable(s)? My galaxy has a micro usb out, it can be used as a video out maybe?

Now every time I try to send an email out or reply to an email the app just freezes and the screen goes black and then when you press the power button it takes me back to the lock screen and you can't swipe to unlock for about a few seconds. then I get a message that the app is not responding. How do I fix this? I tried restarting my phone and clearing the cache but still no luck.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy aunt gave me a Samsung Galaxy S2 and everything was fine, except that it didn't let me register to the network. The next day it told me that it had to do an update so I did the update. After the update the home screen turned black and pressing the buttons didn't do anything. After a while an error pops up saying "application is not responding" and then the screen just stays black. The top bar works just fine and I can even go on the internet, play games, practically do everything. I did a factory reset by pressing Volume up + Home + Power 3 times already, but the only thing that changed is that the language turned into German.. the screen stays black. It had nothing to do with Rooting or Flashing, because I don't even know what that is.

View 2 Replies View RelatedGot my SGS this week and only real annoying problem is I find the accelerometer to be slow on times.....when I want to text and switch to the qwerty board by rotating the phone it sometimes just sits there and does not respond, can wait for a while, (smae when I want to view my photos) or I will just move it back vertical and then horizontal again.....really annoying, anyone get same prob? is there any fixes/causes for this?

For those not familiar with what i'm talking about it had pre-set camera adjustments on the iso, saturation, balance, for different picture taking environments. i.e. for taking a picture through a show window it would reduce the glare, at the beach, a sunset, summer/fall, action shot pic ect..

I restored all my apps on my tablet but all my Angry Birds, Plants vs Zombies and all other game data is missing from the tablet.
First, is there a way to restore this game data to the tablet WITHOUT root?

I wonder if ne one had an major issue with their touch screen before like I had with mine. So I decided to post this little story. Let me start off with a little background info. I got my droid november 6, 5 46am central time zone. don't ask me how but the vzw dude was letting me earlier cuz I had work. I was so happy that day leaving t mobile I did love my g1 but wen I read all about the droid I felt likt I had to leave her and move on. She did do a lot for me but time tells all and it was my time go and move on.Untill two months ago (Present time I'm talking in) I realized not everyone has the bubbly keyboard. I saw friends at my unit (I'm in the army reserves) that bought the droid a couple of months after me had flat keyboards n they were bitching bout how flat it was. I agreed with them since I was woth a g1 the keyboard was a bit flat but nothing to were its such a pain, so my friend shows me his keyboard and I looked shocked played with it was like wow and I pulled my n did a side by side side comprasion and this before I saw the bubbley keyboard thread on here. So unforunately my toucscreen starting doin its own thing like it was ghost writer and spazzing out. I had no control over it this happened monday nite and I was dreading it that I will end up replacing it. But it would not let me do nothing.I couldn't go ne where on my screen it would randomly hit different icons to the point were sum times it would call my contacts. I only had control over the physical buttons. So on Tuesday during work I fought the ghost writer to let get to setting a do a system restore. First minute of the set up was ok but right wen it finish and I was on the home screen again. I was like FUDGE I don't want to replace my rare Droid. After work I replaced it, I was real pissed I had the bubbly keyboard and (something I didn't noticed untill I got my replacement) the golden plated volume side button. I miss my precious rare droid. I was soo proud to be first non employee to have the droid in houston.

Everything else is working fine and I'm still getting messages and notifications (and my alarms are going off), but I can't get to any of it. I've backed it up and tried to do a hard reset, but holding down the volume down + power button is just taking a screenshot and then restarting. I can't do it through settings as the touch screen is not working.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy volume key and power key randomly stopped working. I took the battery out, and restarted it, and went into safe mode. I read that I should uninstall recent apps, so I did, and my phone started working normally. The power key now works, but the volume key is slow to respond. I have to press it multiple times before the volume slider comes onto the screen and actually responds. When I control the volume using the slider, it starts moving randomly, and when it gets to max volume, it slides back down to vibrate on its own, and it takes a few seconds before the slider disappears. I don't think it's a hardware issue. Also, I don't know too much about phones.

I download the latest firmware ICS 4 from szaoson.com and download the flash tool from the same site, then I did the below:
1 - I connect the tablet to the laptop and the tool identified the tablet.
2 - I select the firmware.
3 - I clicked on upgrade button but I got an error "Check chip Fail".
4 - I clicked on the restore button and I got the same error.
now, the device is not turning on I cannot see anything in the screen BUT I can connect to the tool.
it is struck after boot and says Process android.process.media is not responding. i cant click wait or ok. my phone is SGS Duos GT-S7562, rooted and usb debugging is enabled.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor reasosns I can't figure out, some of the high end GL games aren't available for the Desire, even though it's a high end phone.I'm thinking of Modern Combat Sandstorm, NOVA, Assasins Creed.I know some people with the Desire have these, and I'd LOVE to know how they got them, as I cant even get ones acquired from less savoury sources to work.The way I see it, is they're all Android games, so if I was to purchase one for the Galexy S, would it still work on the Desire? Or is there something in the coding that makes them phone specific?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI bought a cheap A-13 MID of the internet and flashed a firmware for another variant common problem with these devices so i have no touchscreen and the usb has snapped of tried soldering it but was unsuccessful.
I have recovery installed but only way i can use it is through novotools but need touch screen.
So i need a way to flash firmware through sdcard on boot (Can be done, can't find guide though)
Or a script that will run reboot-recovery.sh on boot from sd or maybe emmc
Or that will run when the sd is mounted so that if i insert an sd card into the device with reboot-recovery.sh script on it it will reboot to recovery
The touchscreen is not responding randomly the device itself is functioning fine but the screen is not use-able. The simple turn off and on the screen fix the problem for a few minutes but then again is not working, and is frozen in the lock screen so i have to do the off/on trick few times to make it responsive. I tried the stock rom the modaco rom and now i am using AOSP JELLY BEAN 4.2.2_r1 but it is all the same. Every time i flashed a rom i did the full wipe. Sometimes is even frozen in recovery mode. It aIso sometimes reboot when it get frozen. I have 1.4a loader and i tried with all the twrp versions now i am on 2.5

View 1 Replies View RelatedFew days ago I changed ROM to newest Kyrillos version in my Ace II and I saw that radio don't work correctly.
When I turn on the radio first time after rebooting it works fine and I haven't got problem, but when I set off radio and I want to start listening radio again it doesn't start playing, all the time on the top is an information that radio is "Turning on" and phone starts lagging. After about 30 seconds system says that FM Radio isn't responding and it is asking me if I want to close it. Before, when I had Android 2.3.6 and Kyrillos ROM for this version, I hadn't got any problems with FM Radio.

I am having big troubles with the touch screen of my Samsung Galaxy Exhibit II. Everything worked smooth since 1 year, and 2 days ago suddenly the touch screen stop responding. The phone works, I receive calls but I cannot answer since I cannot swipe. All the side button works, but the front button on the screen (menu, option, back and search buttons) do not work at all. I tried to reboot but nothing. I took sim, battery and microSD out for one entire night and then rebooted in the morning (without sim and microSD) but nothing. I also rebooted the same morning with sim and microSD but nothing. I ended up to try a factory reset even if I dont have a backup but I figured out I cannot do it because when I reboot and press volume up and power button then I cannot press the menu bottom when I see the robot with the box since the menu bottom does not respond!
