If you are wondering why this is due to using Titanium Backup to move apps to the SD card. This only happens with certain apps, usually only the ones that can't be moved from the devices settings. To fix this simply move said apps back to internal storage and all will be well.

Jan 6, 2013tell me the resolution of the lock screen icons for the 4.1/4.2 lock screen or better yet provide me with a link to some icons usable for the JB lockscreen.See I have a pack of plain white vector icons, however when changing one my lock screen shortcuts to a custom app, there are no default icons suitable so I use the vector icon but it's about 5 times bigger than the other icons!
As it's the lock screen I'm not having the easiest time getting a screen shot to demonstrate what I mean but I'm sure you can envision what I'm talking about.

Today with my left hand (not primary for me) I'm tried to drop down notification bar and ... again Icons and Widgets start floating, constantly moving and whole my 5 home screens was compiled in one and I can scroll this summary screen.
How to do that again.Device is LT18i Android 4.0.4, stock .587 kernel, installed just this XPERIA Ultimate HD MOD[ver:1.3][ ICS.587/.431] but first time with floating widgets effects was w/o this mod.

Feb 17, 2013got a new Maxx HD today. but haven't logged into my google account yet. Wanted to get ppl's opinion on using google to backup app data and auto restore it from my X2. I am thinking of disabling this as I want the "cleanest" install possible.
also, is there a way to prevent the phone from auto installing the apps that were on my X2. my bro went from a nexus to the razr maxx today as well and all his apps suto downloaded and installed. if there is no way to prevent this, then i guess i will uninstall the apps i dont want going to the new phone from my x2 first.

Dec 21, 2011so my buddy wants me to root his razr. I have 3 roots under my belt. Whoohoo. we root his razr which all goes well. but upon reboot he has no data suddenly!!more reboots not working. what the heck. i know the verizon 4g network just went down tonight but he gets nothing even switching manually to 3g.

Aug 5, 2013I just got 2 motorola Razr M phones. Both my wife and I have android tablets running ICS but different brands..Neither tablet can get to the internet with the Razr M hotspot. They connect to the phone and the phone reports them as connected. But I can't browse the internet. These are not mainstream tablets but they're good ones. They worked with my Droid X and the short time I had a Windows phone 8 they worked fine as well. I've not had any trouble until now. How can 2 droids not talk? I can solve the issue by using windows hosted network and connectifyme. Both tablets will connect to connectify me and get on the net through the phone that way. I'd just like to solve this issue rather than do a work around. Carrying a laptop just to route ICS is not very practical. I've tried everything including third party apps to no avail. Foxfi sucks so bad I had to do a factory reset to get rid of the lock screen password it creates now AND pdanet is now bundled with Foxfi so I can't even try USB tethering. I did try some USB tethering apps I found on Google Play but none of them worked. Both tablets are rooted. So is there a way to replace the network software? Is there a way to upgrade to Jelly Bean?

Aug 18, 2012Both of my android devicea, a razr and a galaxy tab 7.0 plus,are havingtrouble connectingto our wifi. the tab is on honeycomb, the razr on ics. assigning a static ip addressworks for about five minutes, then although the phone says connected, no connection works. during those 5 mins, i can browse the internet but cannot connect via dlna to other devices. when using dhcp dynamic ip address, it just cycles through obtaining ip to disconnected . i ued to use dlna daily, but no luck now, and the static ip is the only solution i can fimd online. This phone has used dhcp before, and theres no reason that it shouldnt be able to now. Both devices run standard roms.

So I hooked it up and installed the software and stuff. Do I have to use that and WMP to transfer music to my phone?
