Recently I've downloaded a game from google play Rail Rush but its lagging and showing pixels so i'm unable to play it. some solution to run it smoothly without any lag.

I've been reading today about how Task Killers are somewhat counter-intuitive and do not help with battery life. So I deleted and I'm now thinking about not having enough free memory... Figures.
Anyways, I'm 25mb right now, and I've hovered between there and about 125mb today. I'm curious what you guys are normally seeing. If I'm not using a task killer, is there something else you might recommend to keep things running smoothly?
I am downloading an array of photos from the net and showing a ProgressDialog with a loading circle. How to make ProgressDialog non-stop loading circle when I am loading a list of photos? But the loading circle will be lag / hang while the process is not finish. How to make the loading running smoothly?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought my micro sd card (8g) and I inserted it into my phone. It says its there but I don't know how to transfer my apps or music, videos, extc onto it! I have the Samsung Galaxy Rush. I tried downloading apps to move it but it says there is an option 'move to sd card' and there isn't. Is it not reading the micro sd card right? I tried moving simple apps, messenger, bubble worlds, fruit ninja, whale trails, things like that but all it said was clear cache and no other options. I downloaded a few of these apps to transfer to the sd but they didn't work. I don't really know what to do because it says I have little space but the sd card is in there. It has 7 gigs of space but nothing is on it. How do I transfer my apps?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been block by this question for about a week. I tried to implement a simple application: show a image, when user touch on screen, I want to create a GLSurfaceView to cover the previous image. Then show some 3D effects on this GLSurfaceView.
The logic is quite simple. But I have a serious problem. When GLSurfaceView comes out, the whole screen become black, after 1-2 seconds, the GLSurfaceView with texture shows up. Is there any way to make this smoothly? The 1-2 second black screen is really a bad user experience.

I before it had a iPhone and used it MASSIVELY for games, and want to use my HTC Hero for the same as well. View 4 Replies View RelatedI've created a class which is an extension of Thread. This class hits a web service and throws some data on screen. I don't care about persisting this data (the screen displays search results).
Currently, the user simply types into an EditText and clicks a search button. I'd like to take away the search button and implement something similar to Google's Instant Search where, as you type, the search results get updated.
This means, as the user types, the search parameters change. I want to be able to kill the currently running thread (if one is currently running) and spawn a new one with the new search string. How can this be achieved? Can I do it with Thread or will I need to use a new object?
I had an HTC Titan, switched to the HTC One X. Android isn't doing it for me.
