Here's the thing, someone called me today and during the call I pressed a few numbers, then the call ended before I could save them somewhere. Is it possible to find them somewhere?

Call / SMS blocking app with ability to block message from non-numeric numbers and with whitelist support for those numbers.
I`am using Call Control now. This app can block non-numerical numbers. But no whitelist support.
Answer: information from cellular providers and from banks comes from such numbers. But they trapped in spam and you have always to look blocked log.
Any way to block my son's phone from calling or texting specific phone numbers? I want him to be able to add phone numbers and contacts, but be unable to call or text a couple of specific phone #s. Is there a way to do this? I have Verizon but their number blocking service only works for incoming calls, not for outgoing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince updating to 2.2 recently, my phone interface when calling has gotten worse. It has the add call, hold, mute and speaker buttons on top of the number, so I cannot see who is calling. It also overlaps the bottom part.
That is not that bad, it is more preferance. The real problem is that I can not bring up numbers while in the middle of a call. This makes calling automated numbers, or more importantly, my voicemail.
Has anyone else come across this? If so, how did you deal with it? Is there a button I am missing? Or a new phone interface I can download?
Is it possible with one call to finish all previous Activities. (like: this.finish(all) :)
I have a main activity, calling a preferences and there is a switchuser point that switch the user and call the main activity again. But than i don't need that the user can go back, step by step, It would be just fine i could say "kill all previous activities" in the moment the user click "switch user".
There is a "switch calls" button when I answer a call on call waiting, but is there any way to switch to the previous call, hang up, and come back to the new call? I tested it today and I hung up on everybody.

Once a contact is synced with Facebook, their number on facebook becomes their primary number.
The problem is, if it begins with 44, I cannot call or text them and it is really beginning to piss me off. They can text and ring me fine.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded from an Samsung Instinct to an HTC Hero. I am currently on my second phone. The first one had a major OS glitch. As the service tech stated it was possessed. I am into my new replacement for about 2 weeks now. Currently, I am having horrible luck with the phone. The keyboard lags, the phone auto dials random numbers while scrolling the phone book and today while talking to my wife it made a conference call to my wife. Also the weather feature on the clock won't update the location unless I manually refresh it. These are just a few of the things I have noticed. I currently am running advanced app killer to save on battery life and the phone is up to date on the software. My brother has an HTC Touch through T-Mobile and it rocks and I have other friends with android phones and they don't experience the same issues.

1. (and most annoying)- Black screen on incoming calls. Phone just freezes on black screen and I just cant answer the phone or do anything else for that matter. Just have to remove the back cover and battery.
2. lot less free memory after the update. using taskkiller but still- even after killing all non-system processes i have about 30MBs less memory
3. google maps, footprints, people, peep, stocks, gmail and some others keep opening by themselves, though ive killed the apps with appkiller.
4. so-many-mentioned lag on making calls. also. every-now-and-then while on call it makes another call to the same person and puts active one on hold...
5. does not recocnise some contacts and just shows their numbers when on in or outgoing call.
I've done several reeboots and also some hard resets on the device but still no use.Seriously concidering switching over to rooted ROM...
Is there any way to change the incoming call screen for unknown numbers and contacts without photos? The little robot (foryo or whatever) is a cute logo.. but it looks like a waving dildo.. Often times I have to answer calls in front of customers, family and friends. It's a little embarrassing having to pull a noisy, illuminated, vibrating green dildo out of my pocket every time I get a phone call.

It can be a widget or app, but I'd like to have some sort of visual representation of how much battery is left (like a %). Doesn't have to be in notification area (unless I can hide the stock one). All the ones I search in the market just don't look like they are worth anything, and if I pay for one, I want it to be worth it. I'm monitoring my battery usage. I installed one and it told me 30% but the stock battery bar was full. It was then uninstalled.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOne of the things I missed of my Palm Pre was being able to type a text and it will save what I typed even if I completely exit out of the program.
On the EVO when I typed the message and didn't send, I would lose the message when I hit the Home button to do something else. When I came back, the message was gone. I know if I hit the "back" button, it will save as drafts, but thats not what i'm talking about.
However, this morning I typed a message and hit the home button (In my mind I knew it would be gone, but it wasn't that important of a message) but when I went back to the text message, it took me back to the same exact message with my text saved.
What did I do differently? And how can I keep this feature?
I just heard this on another forum, that if you need to change something you typed you have to go to landscape and use the dpad. You supposedly cannot use the touch screen to go back. Can this be true?

Basically, I want to turn certain words into symbols when they are typed. So, if 'brb' was typed, then I would put up "Be Right Back" or something similar onto the screen.
So, I need to know the following:
1. How to run an app as a thread
2. How to have an app monitor what is typed in as input from the keyboard
2a. Is this limited to text / email / any app?
I like to add numbers to a reject list, and never deal with those numbers again. Anyone know if its available on the Epic, or if there's an app that will accomplish this?

I'm not sure what I must've done. But nevertheless my stock Touchwiz firmware from my Galaxy S3 is gone. I must've deleted it while doing a factory reset, because my play store was acting up.
I would like to flash back to stock Touchwiz on my phone but when I looked for it on ROM Manager and in recovery all my previous backups were gone. So I was wondering if there is a way to get my stock firmware back or maybe even retrieve it from my phone from someplace it could be hiding.
Some more info: I am running CyanogenMod 10.1.3 and rooted with clockwork mod. This is on my Samsung Galaxy S3. And I am with T-Mobile on a contract in the United States.
I have a dorid razr original, great phone n i can do lots of stuff with it, but this recent upgrade i got about a week or two ago i don't like it, i don't like the internet browser tools, and i def don't like that now i can't use Firefox as a hot spot but i could before with the previous upgrade which i believe was ice cream sandwich like 4.0? so how to i downgrade back to that previous update

The problem: Broken LCD display... The official Samsung service replaced the LCD display and installed 4.0.1. The result is that I lost all my data (all photos and videos are lost).
I tried every recovery tool available (from R-studio to Photorec)... No data recovered... Is there any chance to recover the previous configuration or may I start to take it for granted that all my photos are forever gone ?

But i am finding that whenever i am scrolling down a list, facebook, instagram, or even a webpage, and i hit the back button, it always starts me from the very TOP of the page again. I am used to just hitting back and having it remember my position halfway down or wherever i was. is this just an android thing?!
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid RAZR MAXX running Android 4.1.2 and for some reason my phone just freezes overnight. When I wake up the notification light may or may not be blinking and when I try to press the power button to wake it from sleep the screen will stay off. I usually need to perform a hard reboot by pressing the power and volume down button. After that I turn it back on by holding the power button as usual and I will be greeted with most of my settings reset and all apps reverted to their previous state. For example: If I update the Play Store app the day before it will be reverted back as if it was never updated.
