these have been my favourite headphones owing to the remote interface and the face that i can puy my favorite earplug with the all the controls and mic.
What i want to know is that is there a way that i can use these with android 2.3.5 ?

Now my real question is: are there any apps for android that supports offline turn by turn directions and navigation that also feature downloaded maps?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently acquired an Asus Fonepad.Here in South Africa I have two options for on-line music purchases and downloads - iTunes and Nokia Music. I use both on my PC, but I'm getting tired of being tied to the PC and of having to move stuff from the PC to the tablet. iTunes obviously isn't going to be an option on an Android tablet, but I hope to use Nokia.

So on the tablet I have two browsers: Chrome, and what I presume to be the default android browser (which I shall just refer to as "Browser" from here on).With Chrome I can't even log into music.nokia.com. It fails every time. I can log in using Browser.
So, having logged in I can see my previous purchases and my download history. On my PC I can go into my history and download a previously purchased track by clicking on an icon that has a downwards pointing arrow. When I click on the icon it changes colour and then a download starts - into the browser's download directory.
In Browser on the tablet I see the icon, I can click on it, it changes colour and then.... nothing, as far as I can tell. I get the little circular-ish animation that, I presume, means Browser is doing something. But I don't get a notification of a download in the pull down notification panel, and if I look in memory I can't find any downloaded music files. It seems to not download anything at all.
I have a Nokia 7710 and I was wondering if it would be possible to port any version of Android over to it? this is the hardware specs TI OMAP 1510 168 MHz processor.

I need to fetch Android ROM. I have chosen and downloaded v2.1 via SDK. - All of these files should be renamed to rofs3 and uda files according to Nokia firmware file names. - Correct bootloader is needed to make it running (for example OpeniBoot) - Drivers have to be extracted and edited for Android. The most important thing of all is display because its resolution is completely different than any seen Android phone. - Hardware shouldn't be a problem, it passed minimum requirements. So, is it possible to realize?
I have a Nokia N900 - it's great and so powerful but I must admit I like something that is smooth and easy to use yet still hackable so I think I want to go back to an Android device.I know a few threads ask for advice etc and this one is no different!I want the best of both worlds but would prefer a hardware keyboard,when I say best of both worlds,I want a fast processor and at least as important a device with loads of ram and of course version 2.something of Android.I know my only option currently is the Nexus One (but no hardware keyboard) so I was wondering if there is anything up and coming (or if I should compromise my requirements list)

I am going this week to verizon to do some hands on, and if its what I am seeing on youtube and reviews, I will likely order one while there and drop cent/at&a and join Verizon.SO, my question is, I currently have a nokia 5800. Does anyone know the easiest way to transfer my contacts and calendar over? I use the calendar A TON. LOTS AND LOTS. So there is no way I can manually transfer them. I have 400+ contacts, with some of those contacts having 6 numbers! I don't mind manually transferring from my pc the pics, music, etc.

As I am at work for 12 hours at a time it would be very handy to have the phone connected to the laptop so I can type txts on the laptop whilst I am working rather than having to divert my attention and look at the phone.

I have a Nokia ck-7w handsfree kit in my car, i can pair my desire with it and all seems ok until i try to make or receive a call. The Nokia unit mutes the radio but I can hear no sound at all, no ring tone or dial tones on outgoing calls and no voice on incoming calls.

I have a problem with the pairing of my Nokia 6300 phone and my new HTC Desire.
I paired the devices and ticked "Always Trust Device"
The HTC shows the devices as paired.
HOWEVER in order to transfer date from the Nokia to the HTC I always need to make the HTC discoverable before anything will happen.
This is particularly annoying since I 'm trying to transfer my photo collection and this has to be done photo by photo.
I had NOKIA E71 and exported contacts from NOKIA with NOKIA OVI Suite. But neither one contact is synced with outlook. Few days ago i lost my nokia E71 and got new HTC Desire. Is there any way to transfer contacts from NOKIA OVI Suite to HTC?
