My GPS doesn't lock even after 10minutes. I tried searching for GPS.conf file but there's no such file in mmx a89. Is there any file or solution to fix this error??

I tried customizing MMX A57. At first I moved apps on SD card, which caused mLauncher to fail. Tried adb but that does not list my device. Have reinstalled SDK, drivers, SDK_Tools, etc and have tried it on Windows & Linux but no luck. how I can get the launcher back.

It used to lock whenever you pressed the end button andwhen you cliced end again, you had to slide the buttonto unlock it. But suddenly, it stoped doing it. So everytime I press end, it just goes right to the home screen.

Sometimes I turn on phone and its there and sometimes its not. 1. Weather will not update AT ALL! anytime you press where the weather widget it, it automatically takes you to the clock settings.
2. End button only ends calls. It doesnt lock the phone. he has to wait for the screen to time out since it does nothing.
If I have music playing in the music app, and I do a "swipe-left" from the lock screen to turn "Sound Off", it doesn't mute the music. Is this the same for others? To me this seems like a bug.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an Android service that's responsible for firing notifications at certain points in time. I use an android.OS.CountdownTimer for this. An activity creates and starts the service. If the phone is locked, notifications that are within let's say 1min are shown. Notifications that are much later are never shown. The service is unbound from the activity when the activity is onpause.
As long as the phone doesn't lock the notifications are generated, even if the activity is stopped and unbound from the service.
It seems to me that the service is stopped/killed. When I make the application debuggable and debug it on target, it works fine, also when the activity is stopped and the service is unbound.
The app is developed for v1.5 and runs at Galaxy S with 2.2.

After I installed a CWM Recovery(downloaded recovery.img from the internet) using Mobile Uncle, when i boot into Fastboot Recovery by pressing Volume- and power button it gets stuck on the BOLT logo.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI rooted My My micromax A87 with XDA and I was Succeeded in It, and then I Partitioned my SD Card into three,(FAT-32 + EXT 3 + Linux Swap) with Parition Mini Tool.then I Installed Link2SD and Swapper 2 its all fine but microsd is too slow to Link and Swap because its (Class 4).but it run the temple run and some HD Games with Small Lag.
So I Experimented with other swap tools like "MemoryInfo & Swapfile Check and ROEHSOFT RAM-EXPANDER (SWAP)"and then Uninstalled these. but there is the problem starts. Now in my A87 it shows a swap cache always on. I opened adb shell and look for free.
I wonder that there is a swap file generated around 50 MB but I cant see it in my External SD or Internal Memory.So I Removed my SD Card and then check again, Still I see the same swap value 50 MB.
My Internal memory has no change in the value (available space not reduced) it looks like the same value before I Install the MemoryInfo & Swapfile Check + ROEHSOFT RAM-EXPANDER (SWAP).
I've got an EVO LTE running ICS, Charmeleon rom.
I want to set a PIN lock on the phone so i can enable encryption. but if i do that, the biggest timeout i can set is 15 minutes. I was hoping there was some setting i could tweak somewhere to really increase the maximum timeout. I'd prefer it to be something more like 2 hours, or even a day.
I did see there's an app called delayed lock that'll do this for me, but I want to use the encryption on ICS and it says it wont work with encryption enabled.
Is there someway to increase the lock timeout?
Just to be clear - i'm not talking about the screen turning off - i'm talking about the phone locking and having to enter a pin. Once i boot up the phone I don't want to have to re-enter that PIN again unless the phone has been idle for at least 2 hours (or longer).
