I updated Sprint Nexus S 4g OTA to ICS. Now I get two error messages every time I boot up, and every time I use the camera:
-Search From Camera Error. Authentication Failed
-Permission Requested For Account XXXX@gmail.com

When I try and open up my camera app on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 an error pops up reading "Cannot connect to camera". This is really ups setting seeing as how I my camera on a daily basis. And I really don't wanna go back to stock TouchWiz on my Galaxy S3. But if this problem persist I may have no other choice. But I LOVE CyanogenMod.

I compiled the AOSP Gingerbread for Samsung Galaxy Fit. Wenever i replace the libcam.so, libcameraservice.so, and the libcameraclient.so and delete the seccam libraries my ROM boot well but i want to fix them . Here is the logcat of the error

I am trying, together with Lexmazter and Zasuk to compile codefireX, android 4.2.2 for Runnymede also known as Htc sensation xl.
Now i am so close on having everything working but for the last week i have used so much time to fix one error i keep having, when starting up the camera.
The repo i am using is this :

Booting up looks fine in logcat, and it does load the camera.default.so from stock runnymede ICS rom and if i install a Tourch app or flashlight app, i can use the Flashlight from camera without errors. But if i starts the camera app, it camera stops working in same sec as i start it. No picture or anything.
The same kernel/boot.img is used in evervolv for runnymede, and it has working camera So the error should be somewhere in the rom.

I have also made a last_kmsg but it looks fine to me :last_kmsg
So when sending text messages, I get the following message every single time i press 'send'
"com.android.mms A large number of text SMS messages are being sent. Select 'ok' to send"
So.....I did send out 100+ messages within like 5 minutes...just sending out a mass txt message letting people know of my new number. So is this Androids way of anti-spam?
I need a way to turn it off, because now I have to make this extra step every single time i send a text message
I rebooted my HTC Eris a few minutes ago and when it turned back on I got like three error messages:
1. The application Flexilis Mobile Security (process com.lookout) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
2.The application Google Maps (process com.google.android.apps.maps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
3. The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.Also when I try to open "settings" I get an error message for that as well as "phone".also do not have service! I think I killed my android!
I have a rooted phone with froyo.
Just got the phone today I was putting music on my phone from doubleTwist everything was going fine.
Then i put pictures / videos on my phone and i started getting an SD error and my camera stopped working.
So i reformatted the SD card and the card started to read fine but the camera is still not working
The camera / video looks like its just flashing red & white no picture at all.
(I tried google goggles as well and it looks the same)
Camera was working FINE before SD problems started
Tried doing a factory reset too

Test view in the emulator works fine, but on my phone only a popup is shown where I only can close the application.
I am wondering why now, all of the sudden my camera button is taking me to the messages app. It didn't used to be like. Is there some settings I might be able to change? I haven't messed with anything as far as I know but this is pretty annoying. By the way, the camera still makes its startup noise.

I really like the weather apparently and have tri ed a bunch of them.but have yet to find one u really really like. Weather bug is accurratr but the widget is kind of boring. The weather Widgets widget looks great on my desktop but is innacurate and gets a lot of forecast error messages.

I can access my AOL, Comcast and obviously Gmail with no problems on my Droid. However I want to be able to access my companies email I have set up through powweb.com (they host my website). Anyway I keep getting error messages that it could not finish set up or sometimes it says Error: check user and password details. I triple checked and made sure I was putting in the right info and then I even went on the powweb website and made sure I was putting in the correct settings and even contacted someone there and they gave me some info to try and help and I am still getting error messages. I have tried POP and IMAP. The exchange account, is a fee based account.

Right away I noticed the data connection going up and down a lot. Then a few days ago I started periodically getting a black popup with this: When I get it, I just hit "dismiss" and so far, everything goes back to working normally at that point. Still, it's a little disconcerting. Anyone else gotten this popup or had their data connection messed with by rooting?

No success so now I want to go back to the original ics camera and gallery.. Unfortunately I delete the original ones when I install the 4.2 camera. So I download the camera apk and Google gallery. Apk and put in system.app the gallery shows up but not the camera. The gallery crash very often. I cannot make the camera shows up. Every time I turn on the phone it appears "Android update". I don't have a recovery.

"Error: Server Error The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it."
Anyone else have this issue when using Appbrain on their pc?
Well, It looks like I solved the problem. I just deleted my account and created it again and it's fixed (for now).
So I was using my the handcent sms app on my Droid today and all a sudden the person i was sending messages to was receiving the messages 3 times. Then all a sudden when i went back to text someone else my whole thread was gone and all my messages had been deleted. Then I try using the stock messaging app and obviously all my threads are deleted but messages send twice, any suggestions?
