I have read many other threads here but no one came with a proper reply. I need an app to send FLASH SMS.
I think its also called Class(0) SMS. I have tried Flash-SMS app it doesn't works.
Any other app to do this?

View 9 Replies View RelatedAll the new features sites said Flash 10 was part of Driod 2.2. 2.2 was pushed to my phone overnight and I installed it. However when I go to the Adobe Flash showcase, it says I don't have flash installed. So I search the market place and do not see flash as a download. Is this just something that will come later? I really don't read up on Driod all the time so I don't know all the news, just a regular user.

Flash Lite installs, but after install I can not connect to the internet (Nothing connects, Skype, market, random app, browser.)

But I was disappointed when I was met by the message "does not support this type of flash". Is there an update or an app I can use? Lovefilm uses Flash Player 10.

I was wondering if there is a way to flash new ROM without connecting my phone through USB to the computer and using Odin (because I'm on a business trip at the moment and I don't have USB cable with me.. I wanted to try out some things on my phone (I only have lap top with me so I would transfer the downloaded ROM over the Wi Fi to my phone) I would need a program or something to be on my phone which could install new ROM from my SD Card directly... I've tried ROM Manager but there's no support for my Galaxy S+ ... It is rooted and with 2.3.5 version of Android..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI haven't used MMS much. I use Android (CM 7.1) and from what I can tell at least using built-in "Messaging" application one can only send pictures, sound files (AKA "ringtones"), videos and contacts.
Is there a way to send other file types? TXT or PDF for instance? I was able to select "Picture", then use third party file manager to select PDF file but then messaging application said something along "this is not a valid picture file" and rejected it.
My GF's daugther just got an 7" OMY Q88 tablet with 8Gb flash, 512Mb Ram, 1GHz A13 Cpu, running (Android version 4.0.4 - Baseband 1.5 - kernel 3.0.8+ yishion@yishion #95 - build number nuclear_evb-eng_AL_4.0.4), from her mother and I'm trying to see if I can get it to work with SMS and phone calls.
So I'm using Globe tattoo usb stick E1552 & E153(rebranded Huawei) attached by USB dongle. Both work fine for internet using PPPwidget and sending SMS through GO SMS Pro, but is unable to receive SMS or make phone calls(I tried most dialers from Play store).

how I can send mms via my android htc mytouch 4g slide? Ive configured the network settings, I can receive mms just fine but I cant send any pics that I take from my camera. I'm using Vodafone australia and Ive gone to their website and retrieved the network settings and configured my device hence I can receive them just fine but just cant send.I don't get no error it seems to go ok but none of my friends say they've gotten them. At first I thought cause its a 8megapixel camera the attachment might be too big, the pics are about 1mb. I remember my last phone I always had to compress the image to about 600kb to send it. Anyway I changed the resolution of my camera to the lowest setting and the pic was 24kb but they still didnt get that mms.

Now I've had other Korean phones before, (LG, SKY VEGA etc.) and I've never had this problem..
So the issue is I cannot send SMS AT ALL. Now we all know there is a 80/90 char limit on SMS on these korean phones, but this is not about the limit, the problem is I cannot send SMS period, it always fails.
Now here's what I already did:
Checked SMSC - correct SMSC
Changed input method from Unicode to Auto vice versa, no luck for both.
Reflashed stock ICS ROM via ODIN
Flashed TeamLeader ROM - Custom GB Rom
Now I'm currently downloading a custom ROM from a Chinese site.
So I ran the auto installer and my S3 went through the process and successfully installed CM onto my phone. Where in the settings of the phone can I confirm that it's CM because when I pull down the settings menu it still looks like TW 4.3?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had to send my phone back twice in the past month, initial issue was a weak vibrate motor and a difficult to press power button. Phone came back with a replaced mainboard but had to send the phone back right away as it wouldn't go into landscape mode (I determined it was a defective accelerometer). If I have to send it back a third time, I'm going to be absolutely livid.
I noticed (for the first time yesterday), that if the phone has <15% battery left and I use the pull down menu, the red LED with give a very quick flash that is not like the standard red LED flash when the battery is low. It will do this if you push on the top bar to activate the drop down menu and also if you completely swipe to bring the drop down menu down. However, doing any other actions such as pressing the captive buttons or scrolling will not cause the LED to flash briefly.

I have just been reading the thread about how to flash a ROM on to a phone without SD. My phone unfortunately does not come with a sd card reader so i might be unable to flash ROM's. know if there is a way to do this, or if you could use a micro USB to SD adapter to be able to make this work.
