I have the Harmon Kardon SB 16 system and it only accepts digital coax in, optical in and analog in. I want to play music from my Nexus 4, but I can only do analog out through the headphone jack and it's not very loud.
Is there any way to get digital audio out to coax or optical from my phone?

I put some of the songs I didnt like on there by mistake and I want to delete it but i cant find a way how to do so. I went on settings and on storage and click audio files but when i clicked on them it just played them. I have the N1's dock connected to a pair of M-AUDIO AV-20 speakers and the sound quality is less than enjoyable. The question is, does the phone get connect to the dock through bluetooth? I would expect a much better audio quality from ANY Dock.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have been having issues with my Nexus One when trying to stream music via bluetooth to my clarion cd player. It was hit and miss, sometimes playing fine, sometimes not even connecting for 5 minutes. I may have found the problem, i was having some cutting and out issues tonight and i disabled wifi and it immediatly played silky smooth. I then turned on wifi and it started to cut in and out immediatly. This leads me to believe the wifi radio is causing problems streaming music via bluetooth but wanted to find out if anyone else had similar issues and what they do. I just came from using an iphone 3gs and never had these issues, it always played smooth. I have no problems disabling wifi when in my truck but want to get other opinions.

My question is can you load the digital copy movies that come with dvds onto windows media player on your pc then copy onto your sd card? Is it mp4 format or an unsupported file type? Or are the digital copies strictly for itunes and psp?

I have 2 Asus HD7 Memopad (ME173x) tablets running identical to each other, same settings, same software, etc. I have a powered hub in an OTG cable connected to one of my tablets. When I hookup my Canon point and shoot digital camera to the hub, one of the tablets sees it acknowledges it pops up a window saying what program should I use for this USB device either Asus Gallery or the Asus studio or the Google camera importer, and everything works fine.
I unplugged the OTG cable from that tablet and plug it into my other tablet and I get nothing what so ever, nothing pops up. but I know its not a problem with the USB port on that second tablet because when I plug in a flash drive into it and load up the OTG helper I can see the flash drive with no problem using ES file manager. I just can't seem to get the camera to read on that tablet.
so I plug the OTG cable back into the other tablet and boom it pops up the pop up again and it works. I compared settings on both tablets and they're all the same settings identical. I don't remember what I did if I did anything to the first tablet to make it work.I think I just plugged it in and it worked.
if using nexus 4 backup and restoring it on nexus 5 will not work. what are the alternatives do i have? i want all the apps to be transferred to my nexus 5

I need to be able to read audio bytes from a network and feed them to the audio system under my control, so I can do my own timeouts / reconnects / range requests / etc. without interrupting the audio playback (since the system audio thread would be playing audio already enqueued). It seems that MediaPlayer doesn't give me this level of control. Is there a lower-level framework that does, either in the SDK or NDK?

I'm going to be traveling this week and wanted to put some movies on it. I have a bunch of Blu-Ray movies that come with free digital downloads. I downloaded a few movies in both formats that are available, mp4 and wma. Neither format will play on the droid, I tried viewing in both the gallery and some video playback apps.

Here in Utah, the local NPR station has gone through the whole HD radio upgrade and apparently with an HD radio I could listen to three different channels while tuned into 90.1.
