Feb 5, 2013I know that my girlfriend needs and wants a tablet(a simple one) , so I ordered a serioux visiontab s800 which will be shipped today.
I want to setup an app or if possible in another way, to play a certain song when booting the tablet. Or even after it has booted. I just want it to start playing a song all of a sudden If this is possible , I might want to start working on it asap, since I will give the gift on Thursday.

Oct 11, 2012The instant upload feature on my Samsung Exhibit II wasn't working for several months. No it has started working again, so any pics I take go to instant upload as they should. But, the many pics taken during the months that it wasn't working are still on the phone and not on instant upload. It seems like it should 'sync' them but it is not - it is only sending any new pics I take, not the old ones.

Seems like instant upload pulls from the camera folder only.
Screenshots are saved to their own folder, as well as images saved from browser/apps, which would appear to exclude them from instant upload.
Maybe even a way for screenshots to default save into the camera folder? Likewise for downloads?
General :: Instant Upload Split Into 100+ Albums
Mar 30, 2013Yesterday Instant upload album on my N4 got split into 100+ new albums and now all the photos taken on the same day are in a separate album with the date as the album name. This makes viewing photos on the phone useless since I now need to go through 100+ albums to find a photo.
On the G+ photo page everything looks good (ie no 100+ albums) but once I go to PicasaWeb the same problem is there as on my phone (Instant upload album got split up into 100+ albums)
General :: How To Delete Instant Mix From Google Music App
May 2, 2014Have any of you ever clicked on the "I'm Feeling Lucky Mix" button which creates a mix based on your music taste?
this is a great and excellent feature to have. I've clicked on it multiple times, and now I have multiple instant mixes.but how do you delete an instant mix? I have these instant mix playlists now, and I don't want them anymore.
I thought I had deleted them somehow previously (don't ask, I can't remember), and what's even stranger is that when I click on "Listen Now" 'All Music', I see all my music there, however, I also see Instant Mixes, I don't want them in there anymore.
When I go to http:[url]....and login, and click on "Instant Mixes", THERE ARE NONE ! When I click on "Listen Now", there are none in there also!, this is how it should be on my cellphone/tablet as well.Yet on my tablet, when I view All Music by clicking "Listen Now", I see them in there.clicking on the 3 dot menu doesn't get rid of them because there is no remove option, no delete option either.

Apr 1, 2013I currently have G+ to sync photos. In my gallery, every photo syncs just fine except for the Instant Upload folder.
In the G+ app, under photos - Instant Upload album displays the images just fine.
In short, gallery shows Instant Upload as a blank folder but G+ shows it full of picture.

May 13, 2013You know that Google+ Instant Upload photos don't count against your storage, but do you want that free storage for any photo at all? Here is a little workaround
Simple, but effective: just hook your phone up to your computer and drag and drop any photos you want into your phone's camera folder and, viola, they are treated like newly taken photos and uploaded to G+. (or use a file manager right on your phone to copy and paste there). Then, just delete those photos from the camera folder afterwards.
Now, keep in mind that they will be reduced to the "free upload" pixel limit of 2048, just like any other instant uploads, but for many of us, our camera phone pictures are not much bigger anyway.
Extra pro-tip: videos are also "free storage" and they don't reduce their quality at all. You can really maximize your free G+ storage with video.

Sep 13, 2013I seem to be missing the Instant Mix on Google Play Music on my Nexus 7 as well as on my Nexus 4. Has Google changed anything here or am i doing something wrong. The Instant Mix Tab is gone and when clicking the 3 buttons next to a song the option is missing as well. On my Desktop i still have them though!

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note II (AT&T), and i have not rooted it or put any custom ROMs or whatever onto it. i have been using the music player app that came with the device. (not the google play one that looks like headphones, the app that i use is a blue and white circle with a blue play symbol in the middle and a green musical note on the right side. just for reference) i just added a playlist, expecting the songs to be in the order that they were when i made the playlist in Kies. however, they were actually in alphabetical order and had numbers next to them (01, for example). i would like to be able to change the order somehow, or sync it so that the songs appear in the order they are in on kies.

Feb 5, 2013 i've changed three android tablets so far, rooted my phone, installed and tweaked dozen of roms on it,
on both my tablet and phone i have facebook and gmail applications. they are basically the same .apks since i have a backup of them on a sd card and if i format one device, i often use restire the apps from the sd card.
and you know how you get an instant notification on your phone if you receive a fb message or an e-mail? that doesn't happen on my tablet. it seems that a couple of minutes after i turn off the display on my tablet, it drops the wifi connection (a power save thing i suppose).
is there any way to ensure a constant wifi connection on my tablet so that i receive email/fb notifications in real time and just not after i turn the display on?

Feb 13, 2013I have the LG Intuition and I sync it with iTunes. I use iTunes because I used to have an iPod and a phone, now since I have both in one, i sold my iPod but kept iTunes. I have a lot of playlists and whatnot. Also most of the music files are something crazy like "it's-a-long-way-2-the-top.mp3" or "Nightclub-Mixers 2012 Monstercat April 101 (DJ Mix Madmax)". I cleaned up all the titles in my iTunes so the title is just the title and so on. But when I sync my phone with iTunes, it uses the file name and it looks like crap. Is there anyway (different music player) or something that uses the name i have in iTunes?

Dec 17, 2011I have a Motorola Triumph (running CM7) and stream music via Bluetooth to my Sony DSX-S300BTX head unit in my car. The quality and consistency of the audio is flawless and can also use my head unit to change tracks and pause/play music with no issue. I recently began using Google Music on my PC and it made sense to use the Android app for accessibility purposes. The only drawback I have experienced is that the artist and song title info is no longer shown on my car stereo. This functionality worked perfectly using my previous phone (WP7 LG Quantum w/ Zune Pass) and on my current Triumph with the stock music app packaged with any version of CM7. I download and listen to quite a bit of new music and this functionality is pretty much a must have feature for my primary music app.
The only workaround I have thought of would be to sync music via the Google Music app and then listen to it via the stock music app. This is less than ideal due to the fact it involves 2 apps and takes away the option to stream music not downloaded to my phone. Also, the Google Music app has a much nicer UI compared to the stock app. If you don't know of a specific fix, but have some knowledge of A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles.

General :: Galaxy Note I717 / ICS 4.0.4. - Media Scanner Making Duplicate Song Entries
Sep 28, 2012I used to have a problem with the media scanner making duplicate song entries, only one would play and the other was invalid. For some reason that went away and now it adds media once and never scans again, so if I add songs later they never get picked up to be shown in the music player or winamp etc.
I found these tips:
go to application manager> all application and search
-media storage,
-music player,
-gallery application
and just delete cache and data and restart. It will solve the problem a it force to re build data base
This works still but it is a complete PITA because it resets wallpapers, ringtones and all sorts of other things to default and I don't want to have to do this every time I add a song. How do I fix the media scanner, does it even have logs or something I can look at?
