I am searching a music player for my android phone. I am looking for a feature where the application will post the song which I am listening on my Facebook account, with the album art of that same song.
I tried with PlayerPro, but it doesnt post the album art. Only the title of the song is diaplayed when I share on Facebook.

I have a droid razr and I am using bluetooth to play music through my car nav system[Kenwood dnx9140]. everything works fine,but I can't figure out how to transfer song title and artist to the nav screen. Is it possibly an app that I need or an update that I need to do?

From the album you can go right into you friend's pictures and thumb through them, and from the contacts you can see birthdays, Facebook profile pics, status updates, etc. Is there anything like this available in the market?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the LG Intuition and I sync it with iTunes. I use iTunes because I used to have an iPod and a phone, now since I have both in one, i sold my iPod but kept iTunes. I have a lot of playlists and whatnot. Also most of the music files are something crazy like "it's-a-long-way-2-the-top.mp3" or "Nightclub-Mixers 2012 Monstercat April 101 (DJ Mix Madmax)". I cleaned up all the titles in my iTunes so the title is just the title and so on. But when I sync my phone with iTunes, it uses the file name and it looks like crap. Is there anyway (different music player) or something that uses the name i have in iTunes?

When i start to listen to a song, it plays it for a few sec then skips to the other one, and so on. Also a few other apps have stopped working. I did a virus scan and all seems ok.
View 4 Replies View Related I want to be able to prevent all of my album art from being displayed in my gallery, and only to show the images/folders that I've actually placed in my gallery.
When i open my gallery, I see all the images & folders that I've put there,but I also see ALL of the folders with ALL of the album art..and this can be difficult.
Is there any way to prevent this? I want the album art to display in my music player-(when that album is playing).But I don't want to have to scroll through every frickin folder of all album arts every time I open my gallery to find pics/images.
Get's to be too much when you have over 20GB's of music and pretty much all of them have album art folders. Is this do-able?
I'm new here and also with the phone, it's a Motorola Milestone (or Droid.. I think they are the same), it only has 3 weeks i'm having a very strange and annoying problem, if someone can help i will really appreciate it, because it's making me crazy.When I add songs to the SD, the default Music Player the phone brings don't find them.. i tried a lot, configurations, folders, song names, song properties, etc etc.. but none of them worked.It didn't happen always, the first songs i added are there, and can be played normally, but if I add new ones they don't appear in the Music Player.Also the same happens if I add audio to the "notifications" or "ringtones" folder. the don't appear in the proper place to use them.I read somewhere in the forum that the music player have a limit of around 100mb to read music. but it's that true? any way of raising it?
View 6 Replies View Relatedreturned my first Cappy today, for a plethora of reasons (Battery, GPS incredibly unsnappy 1ghz processor that my previous iphone 4 crushed) among others. But this one seems to be a happy and healthy cappy so far. Anyway, running in to an issue. I have all of my music in itunes, but converted it and just housed it in windows media player when i took my iphone back and got the captivate. When I put my music on the captivate, I get all kinds of crazy file names, numbers, squiggles and the like. It's showing me the actual file and not what I've tagged it as, so I have very few artwork, cd names, and track names there. I've tried to sync music 2 ways:
1) Hook cappy up to pc under media player mode and sync through windows media player
2) sync with itunes agent
Both methods got the same results. I like my music libary to be smooth and organized, but i can't figure out how to change the files names to what I want! Should i get mp3 tagging software? if so, which kind? Can I just change the name in windows? It's kind of making miss my iphone!
Out of all the things I expected the Droid to do, I never expected the Droid to not utilize this feature. I'm talking about when your playing music and you put the phone in your pocket and press down on the volume controls to change the song. The BlackBerrys have this and I don't understand why the Droid doesn't. It's so annoying taking it out of the pocket, going through the home screen just to change a song.

I have a Nokia E71 now and it can't display Korean or Japanese in the music player, all the words come up as boxes and I've been reading how the same occurs in Android 1.5. Is this problem fixed yet on 2.1?
I know it might not be a big deal for some but it really is a dealbreaker for me and will probably push me towards the iphone if it doesn't support the languages.
P.S. While we're on the language subject. Does Android support texting in Chinese? And if so, is it with the IME where you draw out the characters? Rarely text in Chinese but will be nice to have anyway.
Don't suppose such an app exists?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use MediaMonkey to edit all of my mp3 files so that all my artist, album, year, track number, album art, etc is correct. Today I added an artist (Dub_Fx) with 2 albums and one single to my Droid; the single's album art showed, as well as one of the albums, but the other album's album art isn't showing at all, but I used the exact same method for all of the files. Each mp3 has an imbedded image file saved to the tag, each of them 350x350 images, and none of the mp3 files are protected either. Other programs on my computer show the album art correctly (and I've deleted the images from my computer, just to make sure they were saved to the tag and still show properly), but for some reason it won't show for that one album on the Droid's music player. I've even tried changing the album art to something else, copy over to the Droid, change the album art back, rewrite, and still nothing at all.

I always added my own album art to iTunes and on the iPhone it looks clear and crisp. I figure that iTunes optimizes the photo for the iPhone but i'm trying to now optimize it for the Captivate and am running into a wall.Has anyone else experienced this and fixed the problem?
View 14 Replies View RelatedMy music has ID3 version 2.3 tags (most common). About 10% (2,500) of my music is AAC (.m4a) format which is MP4 tagged. All my songs are very organized into 11 different genres. Everything has a title, artist, and album assigned to it and looks great in my iPhone, iTunes, MediaMonkey, and Mp3tag program. When I add my music to my Samsung Fascinate, it reads the tags of my .m4a music but when I go to genre, things are messy. It appears to be putting albums in the genre section (only with .m4a files). Example: Lets say I have an .m4a of Garth Brooks, Thunder Rolls, No Fences (album), Country (genre)In my Samsung Fascinate player, it will be found in the genre section under "No Fences". If I click "Country" genre where it should be, the song will not be listed there. It seems to be reading .m4a Album tags as genre and not reading the appropriate tag "Country".I hope someone can help straighten this out without having either manually edit each song tag OR convert all of them to .mp3 and deplete the song quality.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm loving the HTC Desire, but there's a problem for me regarding the music player - half of my albums are just a black background with a note. It's really annoying, as half of the albums have their true cover. I can't find anything on Google about how to get the other albums working. I have tried renaming the album covers to all sorts of stuff and nothing seems to work. I tried searching album art on the market but the only thing that returned was a paid app, and I'm not willing to pay ?3 for something that I should be able to do for free.

As a test, I put an mp3 onto my phone, ensuring the album art was in the id (using mediamonkey). However, the art did not appear when playing the song. Any suggestions on how to get album art to work? Or if I'm doing something wrong?

I'm pretty sure this isn't a problem with my files because everything worked nicely on 1.5. Is anyone else experiencing this bug? Any fixes?

so i added album art to most of the mp3s i've got on my galaxy and started the music player had to wait a while for the player to index all the files and i had to start playing a track from each of the albums for the cover art to update i later added a couple more albums to the phone (via usb) and the player had to index everything all over again, only this time it doesn't recognize a lot of the album art it did previously? what's up with that? i'm still on ig9; does it work better on newer firmware? (any word on when a new one is released? i5 is still the newest, right?)
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my Galaxy S to replace my Rockboxed Cowon X5L. It has 30GB of storage, my Galaxy S has 48GB of storage. It's going to hold around 250 albums. I don't have single tracks, I just have albums, and typically I'll play an entire album rather than a single track. I've tried several music playing apps on Android and they're all awful. Not a single one of them is even halfway competent. I want to be able to go into a music player, and browse through folders and select music to play that way. I want to be able to go into a folder and start playing a track and for the music player to continue playing all the tracks in that folder and then stop. I want next/previous track to go to the next/previous track in the folder. The default music player is rotten, and does not work in this way at all. Any other music player I've seen seems to be built on top of the music player or just a reskin of it. They're all shite too. Has anyone created a music playing app that is fit for purpose? Has anyone seen one?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am using windows 7 so the htc sync does not work. I know that there is a workaround for this but I am able to connect Eris through usb and then tap on mount SD card and then drag and drop music files from my pc to my Eris. The problem is that the Eris music app does not show any of the album art. The art is in the files so I don't know why it won't show. I created a folder called music and in that folder is a folder for each artist which contains folders for each album. The art is in each album folder. I tried Mixzing media player for a while and some of the album art appeared but maybe only 25%. I like the stock app if it would just show the album art.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIs there a music player app that Classifies the songs by ALBUM artist and no by "song artist". For example, if I have a song with an ID3 tag as follows:
Contributing Artist: A ft. B
Album Artist: A
Is there a music player that'll classify the song under artist A as opposed to under "A ft B"? I really don't want 50 entries in my artist list because of "featuring" song. Does anyone know if some music player app classifies songs this way? And having an equalizer would be a plus.
