I am switching to Sprint soon and getting the EVO 3D. The one thing I will probably use the most is the front camera to make video calls. I am wondering if there are any headphones with a mic that are compatible with the EVO 3D and I can use for that.

Is there a pair of in the ear headphones with mic that's in between the apple headphones and bose ones? I've looked into the bose headphones, but that's alot of money to go into some wired headphones.. Does anyone have them, can you say they're worth getting for that cash? I use my phone alot for music, so good headphones are important.

The problem is when I connect the headphones they don't seem to be recognized at all when the HDMI cable is plugged in too. All the sounds go through the HDMI cable.

When i put headphones in phone just look like phone not regonize it and when u playing music sound still come from phone speakers.
Similar problem was in rom with CM9, [URL] .... but when u use headphoes with build in micraphone sound going to headset ( must be jack with 3 black lines on it ) and all is ok in CM9
But its not work in CM10

View 3 Replies View Relatedi'm on Galaxy S3 with Sotmax Rom V15. when trying to hear music through the headphone jack (no matter the HF brand) the music (and all sounds) are muffled. like it's 5.1 or 7.1 output into a stereo device. the singer sounds distant and the background channels are in front. there's no bass, mainly treble. when listening through the speaker it's sounds fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an .avi file with a 5.1 audio stream, but the stream is messed up - most of the sound is coming out of the FR channel, because it was improperly encoded from a mono or stereo source. I can watch the video ok on a pc if I use gomplayer and set up AC3 decoder to downmix to mono - the audio from all channels is mixed and played through L and R channels of headphones.
The Question is:
Does android have an app or a plugin to downmix to mono audio, for Nexus 7?
I know Voodoo control panel can do this, but it doesn't work with N7.
I also tried a number of players - mx player, mobo player pro, moboplayer, dice player, vplayer, rock player lite, bs player. There may have been a few more I don't recall at the moment.None of these players have the option to downmix to mono.
Anyway to enable iphone iBeats headphones on Android...i know about Jay Headset and the rest...but they don't enable the 3 buttons.

The timer to vibrate when the alarm sound is completely silent. I set the timer and turn off the screen but theres no vibration AND no sound so I don't know when the time is up.
OR
The timer to play the alarm through the headphones. No matter what, all the alarms play through the speaker.
Is there a timer app or alarm app can do these? I'm using cm 10.2 on an AT&T Galaxy S3.
As of yesterday I'm now the proud owner of a new Samsung Galaxy S3. I'm also an avid slacker Radio fan, but have found that my headphones now won't skip songs on that app as they did on my iPhone.

Plugging in headphones automatically adjusts to "safe" level. I hate this. Is there a mod (Xposed?) that prevents the volume from resetting? I'm not talking about the toast/pop-up about unsafe volume levels being dangerous (I've disabled that with Wanam). The devices I'm using are the Samsung Galaxy Light and LG 8.3 G Pad, both running 4.2.2, but I'm pretty sure it's a universal thing and the actual devices don't matter.

It doesn't matter, if you steam the whole system sound or just sound of single program (for example music player). The idea is to get audio output on 2 devices at the same time. If that is not possible, can confirm possibility to steam audio using A2DP to 2 separate headsets? I've met some old devices (for example samsung cell phones on their own OS) which allowed to select multiple bluetooth devices as clients and steam music from the player simultaneously to multiple headsets.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having a very frustrating problem with my new EVO. Playing music through headphones plugged into the 3.5mm jack is very inconsistent to say the least. When I first got the phone I could not hear music through the headphones (using the htc music app) at all. I could hear ringers, notifications, etc. just not music. I updated the software and it worked, though now I think it had nothing to with that, it was more restarting the phone.
Earlier today I plugged in the headphones and the music came through fine. The song I was listening to stopped, I went to select another song, and the music stopped working through the headphones after having worked just a second before. Again, I could hear every other sound but not the music. I turned the phone off and on again and it worked fine again. Hours later, I plug my headphones back in, and nothing. As a background, it's not he the headphones I've tried several. I can hear everything else, notifications, ringers, etc., not music. The headphones icon is present at the top.
I actually cant hear anything besides notifications through the headphones when this problem occurs including Youtube, FM Radio, Pandora, etc. Although I have manged to somehow get music to play through both the speaker and the headphones by fiddling with the headphones/speaker option in the FM Tuner. Remember when I said I could hear the ringer, notifications, etc. well, those are actually coming through both the external headset speaker and the headphones. I'm not sure if that is normal behavior but, it is strange. Either way, I can't hear music, youtube, etc. through the headphones.
I was wondering what headphones users are using with the hero for listening, calling, volume control, etc.I am looking for an all in one type headphone.

So that leaves wireless USB. Having said this, it would be nice if the same headset could be used on my EVO through the micro usb, perhaps using this adapter:

Just curious about others' experience with the headphone audio on their Desires.I use etymotic ER-6i earphones. In a quiet room I set the volume to "1" (i.e., one notch above nothing) and it's still a bit loud. That's how sensitive they are.While playing music there is a very noticeable hissing & popping (more like a thumping). This noise can be isolated by turning the volume to "0" while the music is playing.Others have complained of this, and different people have claimed their music is crystal clear. I wonder if there's a common defect to many but not all desires. or if only those of us with particularly sensitive earphones can hear such quiet interference.Maybe it's something else causing it, like the wifi? I will experiment later.

Today at lunch, I am walking outside aneto into 7-11 andfeel my phon3 vibrare and then no sound throuth the headphones. It's like the headphones are muted. When headphones are plugged in there is no symbol showing heaephones are plugged in.
I use in-ear headphones which usually perform at very high volume. That is to say, I have to put the volume very low on the phone for an optimal use.
However, my HTC Desire, even at the lowest possible volume, is still too loud for my fragile ears. Is there any way to fix this and change volume settings?
