I have a Galaxy SII SGH-I727 and my computer does not recognize my phone as a USB device. I've already tried several other cables and computers. Odin is unfortunately not an option for me. I am trying to unroot my phone (I understand that flashing to a stock ROM unroots it...I hope) so that I can send it in since rooting it voids the warranty.

I have recently bought the Samsung Galaxy s2 SGH-i727. I used to have a Samsung Galaxy s1. I have my 3G SIM in my Galaxy s2 now and its a 4G phone...will that affect it? Plus i have tried a million different APNs to see if that would work, and it hasnt. Im able to send/recieve text messages, but i cant get MMS. I also use AT&T GoPhone as my carrier, but i didnt have this problem with my S1...

SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 with ICS
I just got a brand new Samsung SGH-i727 that I cannot get into Debug mode, which means that I'm bored with it already! I want to ROOT!! I can navigate to the setting, select the check box, and it remains checked, however, it won't indicate Debugging mode ( in the status bar, with the pop-up or otherwise when connected to the PC), and I cannot access ADB to root it! I am at a loss. I have scoured the forums, deleted and re-installed the drivers, deleted and allowed the device to re-install the drivers, used different USB cables, including the original, and a decent aftermarket, used different USB ports, used different PCs, (Two Win 7's, and one WinXP, all to no avail. I am upgrading from a Cappy, that was rooted on this machine, but for some reason, the 727 just doesn't want to work!

View 4 Replies View Relatedi just bought an HTC One Mini on eBay. The smartphone seem to be of Orange.uk (i saw this info using cpu-z app) and does not contain all languages (for example italian, and since i'm italian this isn't a good news).
I'm using this smartphone with a SIM of course not of Orange so i think that is unlocked.
But i want to flash a "classic" Stock of HTC One Mini European, not this. The actual ROM also is "locked" to Android 4.3 and if i check updates he don't find nothing.
So how can i flash a stock european rom? And where i can find it?

I tried to flash CWM Recovery but when the 'confirm your device' menu popped up, my phone wasn't there so i just selected the first one on the list. Now when i try to reboot into recovery, nothing happens. It just boots up normally. how to either flash stock recovery or a custom recovery that will work?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe other day when I went to install a font on my phone, I tried the Arial font and it had me restart. When It rebooted, it wouldn't load pass the Motorola boot logo. I rebooted into recovery and tried wiping/formatting my phone and it would still get stuck at the boot logo. I tried putting the stock rom onto my microSD card and installing via the recovery menu but it rebooted and the recovery menu went blue with lesser options. And will Virgin Mobile send me a new one since it is rooted?(I was going to send it back due to the loose charge connection.)

I just bought a Samsung Nexus $G LTE phone for Verizon. Previous owner installed a custom cyanogenmod kernel. I don't care for this kernel or setup, how do I install the stock factory Verizon image? Is there an easy way to do it without bricking the phone?
View 7 Replies View RelatedLast week, I flashed my LG Nexus 4 (16GB) phone with stock Android 4.4 (Official Image), before that I was on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 Stable.
Now, for some reason I didn't like the stock 4.4 and tried to Flash back my CyanogenMod 10.1.3 from CWM "Install ZIP" but the problem I'm facing is that it CyanogenMod doesn't boot, hangs on "Spiral Splash Screen". Then I tried Flashing CM 10.0 stable, still loops into boot forever and at times boots (after 15-20 minutes of booting on spiral splash screen) and doesn't recognise SIM card, Camera, Storage, WIFI or anything.
Then after getting fed up with this I tried flashing MIUI V5. This also takes a 15-20 to boot and fails to recognise - SIM, WiFi, Camera etc.
So lastly like a loser I flashed back my Android 4.4 it works fine.
I've my boot-loader in unlocked state.
and Yes before flashing CM or MIUI, I did - wipe data/factory, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache from CWM Recovery.
So I want to get back into CyanogenMod 10.1 stable.
