General :: Playstore App Not Working On Custom Rom
May 31, 2012I downloaded nba jam from the playstore and it worked through the first match then closed when loading the second match. Now it will load the game but when loading a match it closes every time. Only info I've been able to find just says that the app may not work properly on a custom rom. I'm running aokp build 37 on the latest siyah kernel on my Samsung i777.

May 1, 2013I own a Chevy Camaro SS 2012 that has Bluetooth handsfree built in. Works like a charm with my friends LG phone with Android, as well as with my company iPhone 4S.
But with my Samsung Galaxy Nexus running native Android 4.2.2 it will pair just fine, but I am only able to hear the sound and use the mic in the car, but not engage any functions nor access the contacts list. So I cannot answer calls, or make new ones etc...
The problem is not in the car as it works fine with other phones, and I've tried to reset everything on both the phone and in the car and then re-pair them, without any success. Nobody on the Camaro forums knows how to proceed.

Apr 19, 2013Is it possible to listen to FM radio bringing some mobiles (eg S3) using bluetooth headset? I know it takes physical headphone cable antenna to do. I have no problem to plug some wire if that is necessary.But I want to listen to the radio (not streaming with apps like tunein) via bluetooth.
With the application of native MP3 music player on my S3 I have a choice if I want to output to the external speaker or Bluetooth. How hard is it to do something similar to the radio? Is there no cooked ROM to do it?
General :: Nexus S Not 4G - Radio Not Working
May 23, 2012I have a Samsung Nexus S (Not the 4g version) I just picked up and the radio seems to not be functioning. No matter which sim card I insert into this thing the radio still comes up with zero bars I've switched the roms around a few times and I'm currently downgrading to the PeterAlfonso's Bugless Beast with the custom kernel in hopes that maybe flashing these two things may have a positive effect on my issue.

Oct 22, 2013just got my new phone and unfortunately i had to realize, that there are some apps i cant install.
I know that this issue depends on my Playstore, so i want to install a custom playstore with no restrictions.
Did this many times on other phones and never got problems.
But this time there is a problem:
I can install the modded version of the playstore without any problems. But it self-updates every time and i cant do anything against.
In the Last android versions there was a "Market Updater" App, which you could just freeze to avoid this.
But in my Android 4.2.2 theres no such app.
How I can prevent the Playstore from updating?
General :: Google Playstore - No Connection But WiFi Is OK
Jun 15, 2013Google Playstore can't connect to the internet (it says no connection). Wifi connection is OK. I can browse the web and the apps (that needs internet connection) works fine. The wifi notification icon is color gray (I know that it must be blue if there is internet connection). I've tried cleaning Playstore's cache, re-install the PlayStore, checked the system date &a time, and reseting the tablet, still the problem exist.
I don't think that the PlayStore caused the problem. Is there any other solutions other than the ones mentioned above. Do I need to re-install a driver or something? Can re-installing/installing a firmware fix this?
My tablet: SoftwinerEvb; Android 4.0.4. (a not so well known firmware)

I have read seemingly cotradictory posts, some say there is no problem some give work arounds involving Roms. A newer post seems to indicate Google has done something that only alows Chinese android devices to use Market after rooting. Which is true? Do all devices even act the same?
I have an Archos that needed a fix to get it at all but I had not heard that Market didn't work after root until a friend mentioned it a couple of days ago. Was this something Google did with intent?

Nov 16, 2013I was trying to browse the Google Play Store, when ~30 seconds into browsing, the app crashes. Trying again, it continued crashing.Here are my phone specs
Verizon GS3
Android 4.1.2
Samsung Stock/ No root or custom ROM
So I make the online rounds and try what I can find:
"Re-enable the download app" - Nothing was disabled on my phone so, no dice.
"Clear Google Play Store/Services cache and data" - Nothing
"Install newest apk of Play Store" - Problem Persists
"Reset app to factory standards" - Zilch
"Reset app preferences" - Nuh-uh
"Disconnect and rejoin your Google account" - Nuzzink....and the kicker
"FACTORY RESET YOUR PHONE" - ....Unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped.
And the REAL twist? I connect an additional, separate Google account to my device and use the Play store under that account? No crash whatsoever. Switch back to my main account. 30 seconds and boom, crash.

I read on an xda post that I should have no problem after ICS downloading multiple apps at the same time, but I have found that untrue. I'm talking about multiple devices. OG Atrix, One X, S2, S3, S4, Note 2, Nexus 7. Using stock software, CM or other ROMs; Google Play will only download one app at a time which makes changing to a new phone incredibly time consuming.
Was that xda post correct or can no one download multiple apps at a time from the Play Store?

Feb 19, 2010Bought a HTC Hero and a DEH-Pioneer 7100BT bluetooth car radio. Once radio was installed my phone was detected and I have done all what was necessary to get the phone paired with the radio.
The phone is now paired with the radio and can stream music and adjusting the phonevolume also gets played through the car speakers wich all work perfectly.
The problem starts when there is an incoming or outgoing call and when I answer the call through the radio, the sounds dont go through the car speakers anymore. The opposing person can hear me but I cannot hear them because the carspeakers are silent. The only way to hear them was by attaching a headset to my phone only then could I hear them.
The main reason for buying this radio was that I would not need a headset at all. Is there a way to route sounds from incoming and outgoing calls also to the car's speakers?
Media :: Music Going To Bluetooth Instead Of Car Radio
Aug 28, 2010When driving, I have my Droid X's audio output plugged into my car's radio, the radio's source is set to AUX, and my tunes play through the radio. So far, so good.
Then I bought the BlueAnt S4 Bluetooth phone device so I can make and receive calls while I'm driving. Also fine--except that now the phone is also sending my music to the BlueAnt device.
On the phone, under Settings, Wireless & Networking, Bluetooth Settings, I discovered that I can open up an options screen for the BlueAnt device. It lists two profiles, Phone and Media, both of which were originally checked. Happy to have found this, I unchecked the checkbox next to Media.
But my music is still coming through the BlueAnt device.
I powered the phone off and restarted it. No change, even though the Media profile has remained unchecked.
General :: Bluetooth Music Controls Stop Working On Screen Off
Jul 12, 2012I have a Motorola S10 bluetooth headset for listening to music. It's really nice not having to deal with cords and having controls for play/pause and track forward/back right on the headset.
However recently the controls have stopped working when my screen is off. I can't pause my music or advance track. I hear the 'beep' in my headset indicating that a button has been pressed, but my phone isn't getting or ignoring the command.
To make matters more complicated, it isn't a consistent thing. Occasionally the controls will still work with the phone off. This has been happening for a couple of weeks now and I'm having a very hard time finding any regularity to when it will or won't work. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. I also can't seem to trace it to an specific program that I recently installed.

May 10, 2010I've got a Moto S9 headset connected to my Incredible. While in a local music app (htc media player, tunewiki, mixzing, etc) the bluetooth headset controls work just fine. If I'm in a streaming radio app (pandora,last.fm, slacker) and press the bluetooth controls it will start playing the last accessed local music player. Does anybody else see similar behavior? this seems like a pretty big bug/problem to me.

Sep 30, 2010I need to use Bluetooth headset for FM radio when in the gym, but we all already know that you need to plug in wired headset to use as antenna.
Problem is, as soon as you plug in wired headset, music goes to the wired headset. You can only choose to route music to the speakers by default.
So, the question is, does anyone know how I can route FM radio music to the Bluetooth headset instead of to the speakers? I don't mind leaving the wires attached for use as antenna. This must be possible through some fix or 3rd party software that I am not aware about.
