View 4 RepliesI have my Samsung Galaxy Note, iPad3, wife's iPhone and the kid's iPhones. I want each device to upload their photos & videos to specific folders in DropBox, one folder per phone. At the moment, all phones upload photos into the Camera Upload folder and I have to manually move them to the correct sub folder.

I have a samsung galaxy s3 i9300 and a dropbox account. But would like to see my dropbox photos in the gallery.
Ive used foldersync from the market but that just copys the files across so not what im looking for.
Ive heard that the note 2 has this function and also htc sense.
Another thing to note is that the main reason i am reasearching this is because i am making the move to the nexus 4 so would have to work with that.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S II Plus and I recently updated the Dropbox app. After updating, the Gallery app is showing all the pictures I have in my Dropbox, this did not happen before the update. I had a clean Gallery with only the pictures in my phone. I checked the accounts in the settings, but I don't see anything in the Dropbox account settings.
I do not want to see these pictures in my phone. How can I stop this sync?
Let's say you have some media on your device that you don't want prying eyes to stumble across in your Gallery. As it is right now Android does a stellar job finding your media and adding it to your gallery. I found this video showing how to hide a folder by renaming the folder using Astro and adding a "." to the beginning of the folder name.
View 8 Replies View RelatedThe Gallery app that comes with my S III shows all sorts of "junk" folders that are created by apps (e.g. Re-Volt creates a "LOADING" folder with images, another app has created a "cache" folder etc.).
Is there a Gallery replacement that allows you to hide certain folders?
I think QuickPic allows this. Any more?
Is there anyway to password protect my folders and apps? Even my photos gallery?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSuppose that into images folder I have several subfolders, say 25. I would like a way to display in Gallery say 2 folders, with the pictures that I desire into each one, without having to physically moving the pictures (because for example each subfolder corresponds to a month, like nokia does: 201201, 201202, etc.)
View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of a way to create and name new folders within the gallery, and transfer pictures to said gallery? Is there an app that can do this? I would like to be able to better organize all of my pictures rather than having all of them lumped into one folder. Such as a folder for kids, vacation, etc......
View 1 Replies View RelatedIm quite tired of having almost all my pictures in the same folder. Is there a way to create folders on my Desire, so I can seperate my pictures? ... Or have anyone tryed an app which can help me out with my problem?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI connected my phone to my computer through disk drive so that I could manage the Gallery. I found my Gallery in the DCIM folder and created three new folders within that folder.
However, if I go to the Gallery on my Desire Z, all my pictures are still lumped into one main folder. A friend of mine, who also has the Z said that his pictures are not in the DCIM folder, but somewhere else on his SD card.
Am I doing something wrong, did I create folders in the wrond location or is something else going on here? It should be possible to have several seperate folders in your gallery, right?
is there a way to make folders in the droid picture gallery?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a particular folder titled "vacation", where I have all my photos from each individual place I've been. I've also downloaded the application "File Cover" [but we'll get back to that later] So the "Vacation" folder has individual sub folders: NY, Miami, Beijing, Canada...etc. When I pull them up in gallery, all the photos show up together. I dont, however want my Beijing folder to show up because it has photos from inportant artifacts and whatnot I dont want everyone to see. I downloaded "File Cover" to hide and password protect them. But they still show up in the gallery in small thumbnails, even though they are locked.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm a photographer so I have the need for several different folders in my gallery for various reasons. So far the only way I have found to move pics between folders is to go: my files>dcim>folder with pic I want to move>long press>select move>select new folder>select move here. One at a time. Are you kidding me? So my questions are:
1. Is there a quicker and easier way to move several pics to different folders?
2. Is there a way to select a folder before I start taking pics so that all the pics I'm about to take go into that folder?
3. Is there a better gallery out there that allows for all of this if the stock one doesn't?
It really seems like I should be able to quickly and easily do what I want from within the gallery. Like a simple drag and drop type of thing. I will be amazed if this isn't there, but I can't find it.
When I go into my gallery for pictures I have roughly 200 pictures, its annoying to find the one I want, is it possible to split them into separate folders (e.g. "Personal", "Wallpapers", "Icons")? I don't mind downloading an app or two to achieve this, I just don't like all my photos being thrown together.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIve tried help that i found online, as in hooking up to computer and adding folders, but still, if i go to the gallery i have 2 folders regardless. "my pics" and "all pics". it doesnt show any folders. if i snap a pic itll be in "my pics", any other pic i add just goes into "all pics". this is frustrating as i want it neat and easily navigated... not going thru every picture i have.

View 2 Replies View RelatedDropbox automatically stops uploading photos when the battery is low, but their definition of low is 15%... which is plenty of battery if you ask me. I can't find anything in the dropbox forums, is there any way to disable/edit this feature so that maybe it stops at 5%?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a dropbox folder with a Microsoft Excel document stored in it. This excel file contains a list of web links on it.
My goal is to use my Galaxy S4 phone to open this file though dropbox and then click on the links and then have the web pages open up in my phone browser.
Currently, my Galaxy S4 phone does have the dropbox app on it. My phone is able to access the excel file in dropbox just fine by using the Polaris Office App. However, when I click on the links within the Excel file, it does not forward me to the web pages.
Is there some way for me to click on the links on this Excel file and then be forwarded to the corresponding web pages? Perhaps there is an App other than Polaris which is capable of doing this?
I have been using file expert long time. I am very like it.But somehow after updating to 5.0.0, the Dropbox can not access anymore. It bring browser app and open an authorize page. Click allow button, it stuck on this page forever.
