Feb 20, 2012I have a Galaxy 8.9 and I have about 270 songs loaded on it. Is it possible to move them to Dropbox and still play them through a music player?

Sep 15, 2010I upgraded my phone to the Vibrant mainly so that I could have more of a "work" phone and sync my phone with the MS Office suite on my laptop, but I have no clue how to do this effectively! I have downloaded the ThinkFree Mobile app so that I can open Excel and Word files, and have also downloaded the Dropbox app so that I can sync files to my phone from my computer. However, I have a few questions: 1) It doesn't look like my files are syncing to my phone with Dropbox once I make changes on my computer. 2) I am not able to edit files on my phone in either ThinkFree or Dropbox; shouldn't I be able to? and 3) How the heck do I get Outlook on my phone?.

Sep 30, 2013While i am still learning the features and settings and there are a lot in comparison to the iPhone, i find myself stuck relative to the music organization on the S4. With the iPhone i was spoiled in having iTunes to neatly organize my music. iTunes offered a simple interface to organize my music and effeciently transfer my playlist to my iPhone. In addition, any songs downloaded on my iPhone were automatically uploaded to my iTunes in order to keep my playlist in order.
Having the S4,i struggle with this. Currently im using Doubletwist as recommended by a number of users on this forum which isnt the most efficient. In addition, i noticed when i download songs to my S4 it does not update my playlist on Doubletwist. Instead any time i need to connect my S4 to Doubletwist it updates my music based on the original playlist that was on my iTunes. Is there a standalone app/program for my PC and S4 that will allow me to organize my music? Not a interface that reads between iTunes and my S4. Does the Galaxy S4 or Android have such a program?
General :: Best App To Open Excel File From Dropbox?
Jun 15, 2013I have a dropbox folder with a Microsoft Excel document stored in it. This excel file contains a list of web links on it.
My goal is to use my Galaxy S4 phone to open this file though dropbox and then click on the links and then have the web pages open up in my phone browser.
Currently, my Galaxy S4 phone does have the dropbox app on it. My phone is able to access the excel file in dropbox just fine by using the Polaris Office App. However, when I click on the links within the Excel file, it does not forward me to the web pages.
Is there some way for me to click on the links on this Excel file and then be forwarded to the corresponding web pages? Perhaps there is an App other than Polaris which is capable of doing this?

Sep 18, 2011415 of 626 files get synced and the app seems to stop but when i try to restart dropspace it tells me sync in progress. i have to restart to clear that message. Tried on data a few times and now wifi.

General :: Dropbox Camera Upload From Folder?
Feb 8, 2013I know Dropbox for Android (and iOS for that matter) will automatically upload pictures you take with the camera. But I want to have it also upload pictures that I save, either from a text message or from a website. Those pictures are saved to the "Downloads" folder, which I don't think Dropbox is watching for pictures. If I move pictures to the "DCIM/Camera" folder, SOMETIMES pictures will upload, but not always.
So is there a way to force Dropbox to auto-upload the pictures I save? I want that to happen so the pictures will be renamed to the date it was taken, which is why simply sharing them to Dropbox won't do.
General :: Transferring Music From ITunes On Mac Over To Galaxy S2
Dec 12, 2013I want to transfer some iTunes music files over to my Galaxy S2. I've done this before but can't figure what I did to make it happen again.
I'm pretty sure that last time I did this I just connected the Galaxy to the iMac using a regular USB cable which then showed up on the background of the Mac as a media device. I then just clicked on the music I wanted to transfer in iTunes and dragged that over to the device. Simple as. Now however, when I connect the phone to the Mac it doesn't show up at all. On the phone itself it says "connected as a media device" but as I say, no sign of it on the Mac. I've tried several different cables and USB ports with same result.

Nov 19, 2013I have a Galaxy S4 Google Edition with Stock 4.3, and my husband has a Galaxy Note 3 from T-Mobile, with 4.3 as well. He usually listens to Pandora, however, the music from Pandora doesn't stop playing when he receives a phone call. So he hears the music AND the phone call at same time. He uses the Samsung headphones that came with the phone. I use the Google Music app to listen to my music, and the same thing happens to me. I get a phone call, and the music keeps playing. Our friend, has a Galaxy S3 from T-Mobile with Android 4.1 (I believe, could be 4.2) and he says his music stops when he gets a phone call.
Is this a 4.3 bug? Is there anyway to make it stop playing music automatically when answering a call? If it's a bug, is it fixed in 4.4?

Aug 11, 2013I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus currently. I also subscribe to Googles new streaming music. I have been trying to figure out how to play the songs in my car. We have a 2012 Chevy Cruze.
I have always been able to play music by putting the actual songs in the music folder.
I thought maybe if I used the function that puts the songs on the phone I would be able to search them up that way, but no dice.
Any workaround or a way that I can use the music off of the new streaming service in my car?
