General :: Can Firmware From Different Location Not Work Correctly On Galaxy Note GT-N7000

I bought a Galaxy Note GT-N7000 in Indonesia. (PDA: N7000DXLC2, PHONE: N7000DXLC1, CSC: N7000OLBLC2). The installed languages are asian languages (+English), so I would like to change the firmware to a European version, since I would like to have Hungarian language on the phone (especially but not only because I would like to be able to type messages with Swype). My plan is to change to this one: N7000XXLA6, N7000OXXLA1
The question: The new firmware belongs to a different location than the old one.

I just bought a unlocked galaxy note and I had to to get my access point names right so I could use my data form AT&T. I'm ready to rooted my phone and flash a ics firmware (rom) on my samsung galaxy note N-7000. when I flash, will my access point names be ok. I've already went ahead and copy on paper the way they are now so I wont lose them.
P.S. Your access point names are how you get your data from your cell phone provider such as at&t, sprint, boost mobile, etc etc. It has nothing to do with your wi-fi.

i has a problem to upgrade galaxy note n7000 to android kitkat. my phone can't root properly. also can't flash rom. when i try to install cwm advanced or twrp it fail every time. i can't find the proper cwm advance or twrp for my note N7000DXLSE. can u all guide me from rooting process until the last step to flash the rom in cwm. give me the link to download latest cwm advance or twrp FOR GALAXY NOTE N7000DXLSE except from xda forum.

I was following instructions to flash the Criskelo v7 rom on my Galaxy Note N7000
First time with Android rooting ...... it told me to flash Abyss Kernel and after this do a wipe . Abyss did not load right and i did wipe
OK .... this is my first android and first time on rooting.............. i made a mess i guess
Now the phone does not go back to CWM recovery and can only go into download mode . I have downloaded ODIN 1.85
Also before doing all this i have created a Nandroid back up with CWM.

i load apk into external sd card, and went into my files, select the apk file and run it. successful after that ! restart the phone and the yellow triangle still there ! went in to download mode -> binary counter still 4 counts

i just got my note 2 and week ago and until yesterday when i hold down the home button to get to my tasks manager it wont work. Ill hold it down but it will vibrate but nothing comes up -_- im not sure if i turned something off or if its broken. anything i should try before i go to the verizon store or something?

I have noticed that after the last update, my touch screen doesn't work for a few seconds on random occasions and then works again after about 3 or 4 seconds. when I'm reading a book and they're about to reveal the mystery or enthusiastically playing a game and it stops working, I get increasingly frustrated that I can't turn the page or that I lost the game because during the last few seconds my touchscreen decided to temporarily stop working.. I just want to make sure there's not something wrong internally.

In my application I have to fetch the current location. First it correctly fetches the location. But we are moving from the current location to some other location. It shows the previous address. It is not updating the location. How to make Viber and Tango (both chat app) work for multi window mode on Galaxy Note 3?
I tried Viber and Tango, Both doesn't open multi window or support any. I know it can't be open two of them on the same window but it should be open with other apps on the same window on Galaxy Note 3. Some other apps like Chaton, Youtube can be open two windows on the same screen ( it has two split windows so you can watch two different youtube on the one window. For example, you can open two differnt snow boarders on one window and compare them. It is awesome.). Multi window mode works with other apps fine.

I rooted using the nabi lab 2 (URL....), after a prior root, gapps installation which had the update issue. I am on the current .37 update.I downloaded dragonbox from the play store, and it loads but nothing on the screen responds to touch. Is there a way I can force this app to work on the Nabi? Or is this an issue with the software? (I'd be willing to get to the bones, rid the Monarch UI, etc. to have better functionality of the Nabi).

I use the Now TV and Wuaki.TV apps on my Note 2. When I am on stock firmware, kernel and recovery and not rooted, they work fine. But when I am rooted or on a custom rom, they don't work. I know this is because I am rooted/modded (because the app makers indicated they check for root access).

So, I have the Samsung Galaxy Chat (GT-s5330) and I have a weird problem. When I connect it to a charger (happens on wall charger and on PC connection) it turns off immediately, and it can't be turn on whatsoever. I left it a whole night charging, and in the morning, when I disconnected it and turned it on, it had low battery and needed to be connected to the charger.

If you can't S-OFF Samsung phones how do I partition my sd card? My internal memory keeps running out I've to un-install apps all the time.

I had filed a similar issue about location services not working properly in emulator. However after I upgraded my droid phone to 2.2, I am finding that location services are not showing the correct location. Though the coordinates looks correct, it is showing my location as San Jose while I stay in Los Gatos. Therefore my local search query gives me result based on San Jose.

Sometimes randomly. other times directly after disconnecting it. My phone thinks its either charging or the usb is connected. Plugging it in and out doesnt work, switching it off doesnt work, not even removing the battery. What is this and how can I stop it? Also, i've never upgraded my software, not sure how or if I can.. Never had any problems, but just today, my phone just shut off. When it shut off, it kept vibrating, just small pulses over and over until I took the battery out. When it shut off, it had 100% battery, so I put the battery back in hoping it would turn back on. The samsung logo/boot screen came up, then it just shut off. It does this repeatedly. I tried putting it into recovery so I can reset it, but it doesn't boot into recovery or download mode.
Strange things: Whenever I hold down the volume down key, it does the vibrating pulse thing until i take my finger off it. And when it's on the charger, it does the vibrating thing the whole time until I unplug it, even if the battery isn't in it.
