I'm using a Sprint EVO 4G LTE with the very latest CM10 Toasted Deck and I'm having this strange issue.
If I try to dial numbers that start with a +, it just dial. Says "Call Ended" immediately. So for example:
212-555-2424 would work fine but +1 212-555-2424 would get call ended.
The phone is working AMAZING other than that and I love CM10, I don't want to do a system wipe for just 1 small issue.

Once a contact is synced with Facebook, their number on facebook becomes their primary number.
The problem is, if it begins with 44, I cannot call or text them and it is really beginning to piss me off. They can text and ring me fine.
When I synced my phone's contacts with my face book contacts, I saw that some of the numbers had the +44 prefix. This didn't seem like a problem until I tried to dial a contact's number that was taken from Face book. When it dials it just plays a long beeping tone and won't connect to the contact. I can text the contact fine but not ring. Also, I can not change the number in my phone as it is from Face book. Does anyone have a way to solve this issue?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried 4-5 differant phone numbers and the new 2.1 update on my Telus Milestone on the Bell network will not dial 1-888 numbers, it has a buzz and hangs up pretty quick, won't work from a contact wont work manually entered! No problem with 1-800 and I am not trying any 1-900 we will leave those alone. Wifes work uses a 1-888 for out of area toll free and I have to use on landline, but with cell the regular number is not long distance, so I can still get her through cell. Did a google search can not find any mention perhaps someone else can try a 1-888 number just google for a number lots of weather related ones.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn a nutshell I did a factory reset and wiped cache on a rooted incredible and am now stuck at that "Touch android to begin" tutorial screen. I was running stock recovery before all of this mess because I was going to upgrade to 2.2.
When I touch the android guy as opposed to going onto the regular setup it will go to the dialer except there's a grayed out "call ended" button. You can access the dialer but there's no cell connection so its useless. There's no way to escape this setup and get to anything resembling a home screen. Nothing will mount to my PC either, although its recognized as "android bootloader interface". I've been searching around the forums and it doesn't seem to be bricked as I can enter the stock recovery. I even tried to upgrade to 2.2 but I get that "status 7" error and it aborts.
I had done titanium and nandroid backups before I attempted anything but I'm on stock recovery so its not like I can restore.
It would be interesting to know if the number of people buying apps is growing as fast as the number developing them. Has anyone seen data about either?

When I hit the "Phone" button to dial a number, the dial pad is invisible. I can still toggle the dial pad with the button on the bottom left, but the numbers are missing. I have tried rebooting with no luck. Aside from uninstalling programs I have installed.

As soon as I end an incoming call or and outgoing call I seem to get the auto dial option wherein the phone starts dialling the last number which I had called. This has been happening for quite some time now. Also some times when someone calls me before I can answer the call within few secs the call gets disconnected and they get the auto text indicating I'm busy. I tried to do a factory reset which didn't work.

I have been looking through the various bits on the phone and decided to put a password on it. I have done this on all of my previous, simple, phones with no problems, but now that I have done it on the MG all I can get is the phone dial screen. No pptions for any apps, settings, etc. Just the dial screen.
I have tried the factory reset using the power/volume buttons but when I get to the second selection, with the 'distressed android' showing I don't get any options with it, just the android.
Replaced my Droid X with the RAZR M.
How do I create/edit a contact so that SMS/Text is not an option for a number. I want to hit that contact and have it immediately dial. Some contacts I imported from gmail are already like this but new contacts always have phone or text as the options so I have to select the phone icon to actually dial.
Problem came up because the default voicemail app keeps trying to sell me Visual voice mail. The default Voicemail contact number is not editable so I can't add my pin. Finally deleted the default contact and added my own. So far so good except it always wants to know if I want to send a text?
What I know is the *#*#4636#*#*------> for everything about your phone
Is there anything else beside that number.
In ICS, when I make a shortcut with Direct Dial, it shows the label "Home" over the bottom-half of my contact's picture... 99% of my contacts only have one number anyway, so the "Home" title is useless & only blocks half their picture. Is there a way to remove this?

I have the Gmail and Talk apps but I do not see the same Chat/Call Phone/Keypad option that I see on my laptop. How I can get the keypad to show on my phone so that I can dial out? My boyfriend just left for Basic Training for the Army, and I should be expecting a call from him soon, and then possibly every Sunday. It could be from his phone, or a phone at the base, I don't know which.
I work weekends so I need to find an app that will only allow incoming calls from my boyfriends number and ALL unknown numbers.
I've been able to find apps to add people to "VIP" lists, but not one that also allows the silencing of my entire contact list and allows Unknown.
(I'm trying to avoid downloading an app and manually going in and silencing everyone.
