Jan 21, 2014I have Samsung Galaxy S4 and have made some cool widgets with Zooper Widget. These worked fine initially but some of the widgets with time features get stuck on the time or incorrect city and don't display the correct city or time.

Mar 14, 2014I have created counters for whatsapp and wechat using tasker variables in zooper.They work in the sense that when I run them in tasker, the respective counter changes in my zooper widgets.Also when I open the corresponding app, my counter reset task does it's job bringing the count in my zooper widgets down to 0.
However, when I receive an actual message and have a waiting notification, the counters don't reflect it.

Jul 30, 2010I just bought an HTC Desire from a streed vendor. He said the phone used to be on vodaphone monthly contract. The phone was lost/stolen and sim blocked by Vodaphone.
Now when I try to use my T-mobile (sim monthly contract) in Desire, it shows the network but when making any calls, no call is made. It shows 'call ended'. Does anyone know why this happens? (Have I made a mistake by purchasing this phone?) Does this need to be unlocked?

Feb 17, 2009I am resident of India. But right now i am in US. I am planning to buy a Google Dev Phone 1. I will be using it in India once i am back to India after 2 months.
If I buy it in US, can I use it in India? My suspect is on 3G band currently used in India (BSNL/MTNL) or soon to be used (by airtel / vodaphone).
This is Android's spec # 3G WCDMA (1700/2100 MHz) # Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) I am not sure about the upcoming 3G bands in India. Can any one clarify this?

I just bought a HTC desire, it was sealed with plastic, and the storekeeper said that it was a HTC desire with warranty. For HKD 4100. I wanted to buy 2 units, one for my sister. But the store only has 1. So I went to a store next door, and the storekeeper said what I just bought must have been a 'refurbished' one. He said the normal price in HK should be around HKD4250 - HKD4300. Question is, Are there really any method to check whether this new phone I just bought isn't a refurbished one? or a second hand sold as a new unit ? seeing me as a foreigner, they would think I am easier to trick.

HTC Incredible :: Bought Extended Life Battery - Still Draining Rapidly
Sep 24, 2010My battery started draining rapidly all of a sudden. I had the Seido 1750 battery. I stopped yesterday at the Verizon store and got the 2150 Battery-it is also draining quickly. I guess the Seido battery was not the problem. The battery was fully charged before I left yesterday, but it was drained completely after being off the charger for only 16 hours..5 of them I was sleeping. I do not have the GPS on...etc..None of my setting on my phone changed. I am not sure why the battery is draining so rapidly.

Aug 27, 2010One of the things I liked about Sense (I'm rooted now and running the Second Wave ROM) was the HTC weather animations when the screen was unlocked. After installing Widget Locker, I noticed an option to turn them on and now I have them back! I also installed the Weather & Toggle Widget and installed the weather skin that looks just like the Sense weather with the flip clock.The annoying part is that when it's sunny, or partly sunny, the "sun animation" from Sense doesn't perfectly align with the Weather & Toggle Widget weather icon. I know, I know, it's a minor problem and goes away when the animation is done, but the lack of symmetry sometimes annoys the hell out of me.

If the above one is scrolled then I want to pass the same touch event to the bottom widget so it also scrolls the same way.I have tried to use dispatchtouchevent events but I am facing an issue where in if the bottom gallery widget has some edit text then the edit text gets the key event and both widgets doesnt scroll anymore.I have tried to set focussable and editable to false on edittext even then it gets the touch events.I think I am going in the right direction. However I need some assistance in doing the right way.
