General :: Android Market Installed Apps History

I don't think this is an issue specific to my phone model. When I go into the Android Market (or Play Store) and I look at my apps it previously showed purchased apps but now it shows all the apps I've ever installed. If I want to install an app I purchased previously I have to search through all the hundreds of apps I have ever installed!
I've tried to find a resolution via Google but I keep getting results showing how to clear market search history.
Like I said, previously before I upgraded to ICS the market only showed installed apps and purchased apps that I haven't installed, now it shows every app I have ever installed and it seems to include apps I installed on my android tablet!

we can clean some apps that we dont use going to playstore/myapss/all.
but if you try remove an app from the list (not the 1st app preferably), and install again that app you will notice the position on the list is the same. So its impossible delete apps history, google always remember what apps you have ever installed with your account?

is there a way to delete my history of installed apps? Apps that I might have installed months ago and since uninstalled still show up in my history in Google play How do I delete this history?

I recently changed my ROM, and as soon as done, started having lots of problems installing apps:
* the play store on my computer would report applications not available for my device, even though I had downloaded and installed them before
* the search in the phone play store application could not find those apps, and when given a direct link would show them as incompatible
* modded version of vending.apk failed to download with the following error: "app name" could not be downloaded due to an error. (942)
* trying to install the backed up apk manually gave me the error "Application not installed"
* restoring titanium backup failed and left the restore process hanging
* manually copying the apk to /system/app/ and fixing the permissions still did not show the app
I tried many things, different roms, different ril, different mods of Vending.apk and GoogleServicesFramework.apk, clearing data and cache, deleting files in .android_secure, etc, nothing worked. Searching the forum brought up many posts about other people with the same problem, but no working solution.
Finally, I found the solution: I was using the wrong gapps package!The one I had flashed was for 2.3.2, my previous rom, whereas the new one was based on 2.3.7. It did not occur to me, that there could be enough changes to break market functionality, since I was sticking to gingerbread.
If you have the same problem, head to [URL] ..... and pay close attention to the table matching the right google apps package to your android version. Download it, and flash through recovery.

When I load a new ROM and need to reinstall my apps there are usually a couple I don't want to install. Is there anyway to remove them from the "Not Installed" under "My Apps"? It seems like since I once downloaded and installed an app, it will always be there.
If I can't remove them, then I can't use the bulk install option and have to manually start all the installs.

I installed a non-market .apk app on my new Evo using Astro File Manager, by clicking the install button in the file manager interface. But how do I actually launch the app to use it now that it is installed? I can't find an icon or a place to make a shortcut to.

Ive installed apps to my hero from my pc, but they arnt showing up in the market as being "installed", so they can be updated, etc.is there a way around this, & where do the apps get installed (directory) on phone.1 last think, if i install apps on my sd card & dont want them, do i have to uninstall them, or can i just delete them off the sd card?my phone is rooted, does this effect the phones ability to update itself to 1.6, im running 1.5

Is there a way to know the history of updates for apps in Google play?Auto update of apps i trust is fine as long as i am able to know when they happened eg when troubleshooting new behavior.

I have alot (and I mean ALOT) of apps on my Xperia, so I get around 5 app updates a day, which is now starting to agitate me because most of them are the same apps everyday needing updates.
Today I heard about an update for the market that includes an auto update feature for installed apps. But I, like many others, do not see this option on the market.
Does anyone have any idea how to get it? or if I can't get it, when can I?

I have an app that was installed via Android Market. And so, the Android Market knows when new versions are out and notifies me of an update. Titanium Backup calls this the 'Market Link', not sure what else it could be called.
how would I go about 'disconnecting' the app from the Market? Deleting the market link as if it were side-loaded?
Yes, I know this means no more updates for the app etc. Which is actually what I'm after.

New feature of ICS, "Recent Apps with thumbnails" is a privacy concern for me. As it shows my personal text messages in the thumbnail to people whom i handover my device. I have already locked message application but still ICS is able to capture a screenshot of it and displays it in Recent App history. Is there a way to bypass an application from Recent apps history?

I have several apps, paid and free, on my phone that I currently don't use. I could uninstall them, but I'd like to have them at hand in case I decide to use them again, and would rather not have to write them down or search for them again. Many of them additionally load automatically and have no options to turn that off, so I end up with a good 100M of RAM wasted.
I know paid apps will list as purchased in the market, er, Google Play, so I could easily find them again if I uninstall.
Is there any way to freeze apps so they don't autorun on my phone

I've been trying for some time to install apps to SD on my Galaxy S3 using apps such as link2SD etc but have had little to no success. I've heard that some custom ROMs allow you to do this without additional software. Since I was planning on ditching the stock ROM in favour of something with better performance and most importantly better battery life I've been looking for a ROM to suit my needs. However most ROM download sites seem to have little information regarding this and I am yet to find a ROM with this capability. Any ROMs that can do this?

Am using Galexy-S3 International With CyanogenMod 10.1 with out Google Apps ( with out Any google Apps , No gmail is configured as well). i wanted to install some applications which i have downladed apk files from playstore.but when am trying to install the programs are not getting installed ( May be bcoz i dont have a google account & playstore).

I installed the ViperOne yesterday and so far I've been enjoying it, however I'm getting random apps installing. They won't be installed but will show as an update in the Google Play Store, they'll automatically "update" when really their just installing.
These apps include:
Flashlight Small App Free (by Renaud Aste)
Home Anywhere (by amanon)
People Small App (by Renaud Aste)
Small Phone (by Andre Macareno)
Unit Converter Small App (by Sony Mobile Communications)
Currency Converter Small App (by Sony Mobile Communications)
EDIT: Upon further looking they are actually on my phone and when they say their updating they actually are. They look like stock apps (I can't remove them from Settings -> Applications)
Some of the apps appear to be from Sony which would make sense if I had a Sony device, but I don't. It's a HTC One (M7)

I'd like to flash a new rom, is there any way to backup all my installed apps (including the ones I paid for) so that after I flash the rom, I can get them back? I don't mind if I lose their settings, I just don't want to have to go back to the Market and manually download each one again.

How do you uninstall unwanted apps that were there when i got my optimus v. They use up unnecessary space on my phone and some of them run in the background so i just want to get rid of them but you cant uninstall them in the applications menu?
