I am running Android 4.3 and I have a issue when I delete Event Emails.When i accept an Event Email request, it is added to the S Planner !when I delete the Event Email from the built in Email Manager (Hotmail Email account) it also removes the event from S Planner.
Surely I should be able to delete an email after accepting the event request, without S Planner deleting the Event from my Calendar.

I just bought a new phone and have started using the stock Android calendar. I put in my work schedule as a recurring series...M,W,Th,F at the same time every week. I am taking a Friday off in a few weeks, so I went to delete that event only and there is NO option to delete just that day. My options are "This & future events" or "All events". I also tried Jorte calendar app at the recommendation of a Verizon employee and it is doing the same thing. There has to be a setting or something I am missing. I should not have to re-input all my data every time I take a day off. My old phone gave me the option to delete "This event only".
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have Google and Facebook events show on my EVO's calendar. Since I keep a tight FB friends list, I don't mind the b-days showing. However, I said I'd be attending an online event from a FB contact that was set up as a daily thing for 7 hours and as a result, I've got it spamming my calendar view with four months worth of meetings. I went to FB and removed the event from my list there and went to the event page and said I wouldn't be attending, but even when I force sync the calendar, it's still showing up. Only turning off FB calendars entirely removes it, but the birthdays go with the bathwater. Is there any way to clear this that I'm overlooking?

From my phone provider (Tele2) i have to dial a 1 (one) before my PIN-code when traveling abroad.
The code is accepted, I can be called and i can send and receive SMS messages.
However i cannot make phone-calls...
The error (?) is "DIAL request modified to SS request" and (very short) "not connected"
I've been trying to get a Cyanogenmod on my LG Optimus 2x/Speed/P990. Most of the (german) how-to's didn't work, until I found a toolkit named "AIO Toolkit for P990/SU 660" by SpyrosK, which did finally install a CWM-based recovery (v6.0.2.5).
Following the steps of the how-to's I found I tried installing various Roms, all of the available Cyanogenmod Roms from their homepage, and another I found somewhere else.
All ended with the same, the phone doesn't boot into the rom, but into the Stock 4.0.4 ICS
I'm installing in the following order:
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-advances > wipe dalvik cache
-install zip from sdcard
-choose zip from external sdcard
-e.g. cm-7.2.0-p990.zip
-yes
-reboot system now
It always sends me back into stock 4.0.4

I want to delete an item from a ListView, to which have attached a GestureListener. I have overridden the method onFling for that GestureListener to return true of false based on my criteria.
But I don't know how to fetch the last selected item in the ListView. Fling does not select an item in ListItem.
this Android code worked fine before, but i'm having problems for some reason. here is the request i'm trying to make: https://www.google.com/reader/api/0/token. i'm getting 400:Bad Request as a response, and i'm not sure why. isn't this the correct URL for requesting a token? the auth token is being passed as a header in all requests now, and i can request feed list, and it works just fine, so there's nothing wrong with the auth code. what gives? in addition, i can request a token in a normal browser, like Chrome, and get a token as a response body. so the request itself is not the problem. i just can't figure out what is wrong with my requests in code...

Often, if it is a spam email or a Google Voice reminder for a meeting, I want to just delete it, but instead I have to launch the respective program and delete it from there.
I'm running LiquidSmooth right now, but I'm not aware that any ROM has this functionality.
1) Buy accident, within a conversation, I hit reply all, which created a draft. I want to delete that singular draft message, but I see no way of doing it, short of deleting the entire conversation or going to a computer to do it. (Come to think of it, I don't see a way to delete any of the emails within a conversation). Am I missing something on how to delete a single email within a conversation?
2) on an email thread, when I hit "previously read messages", it shows the messages in oldest to newest order, meaning I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the latest emails from a conversation. Is there a way to change the sort?
I really need the ability to edit/delete one event in a recurring series, and i'm close to figuring out how to do it, but i'm not quite there yet. Sometimes editing a recurring event shows "Change only this event", "Change all events in the series" and "Change this and all future events" options, but other times the only options are "Change all events in the series" and "Change this and all future events". Does anyone know what you have to do to get the "Change only this event" option when editing a recurring event?

Ofcourse i said use the stock one because i know that works fine on my HTC Evo but since i work at I.T at CMU they know i do alot of stuff with android phones they want me to fine all the possible ones that will work with all android phones and the ones that work best.

I was out with a friend, he asked if he could use my droid to check something on Grisliest, he sent a link thru my g mail account. Then I noticed when loggin back on to g mail it was asking me for my password? I put it in and it kept saying WRONG password (it was not).Went on my pc at home and still could not get into my account. clicked help they asked for my address, I put it in, then a scene came on saying my account has been suspended due to a violation of there terms and policies, I wrote them 3 days ago, they have not gotten back to me, I got a support phone number, but a recording says google does not have tech support via phone. So now I can not log onto my g mail, android market, maps, all I can do now is make phone calls. what can I do.

The code on the phone creates a ServerSocket and then blocks whilst waiting for a connection(plus some more bits if the socket is created. But I'm not getting this point, so left that out!)Basically, the phone is getting to accept, and the computer is not connecting. The xx.xx.xx.xx is the public IP of the phone I obtain programatically (and it matches up with checking on whatismyip.com).I have set the INTERNET permission on the phone. The problem is that when my phone is in SLEEP mode, it takes about 10-30 seconds for my phone to AWAKEN when receiving a text message and around 10 rings (from the caller) for my phone to AWAKEN start ringing. But when my phone AWAKE, I receive texts/calls right away. I have two phones so I constantly test it out and results are the same. Do you think some of my apps are delaying it? My default SMS app is Handcent and configured properly. Do you think Automatic Task Killer is the culprit (this kills all apps when in SLEEP mode)? But even if I exclude MESSAGES, VOICE DIALER and HANDCENT, I still get the delays.

The GMail one works nicely, however, the Mail that comes on the phone doesn't allow you to select multiple messages and delete them..like outlook or the versamail client on a Palm device.
