Is there anything i can do or should i just throw it into the trash?
I have installed the paranoid android 3+ rom but now I cannot access TWRP or the bootloader screen. Android boots normally and the tablet is perfectly functional. When the tablet is off, there is no way to get to TWRP using the keys (power on with Vol- pressed etc. I have used all possible combinations). Also, there is no option to boot into recovery mode from the menu in "Backup & reset". Also, when I try to boot into recovery through a terminal emulator it again boots into andoid normally as if I just did a normal reboot. The "reboot recovery" command issued from the terminal emulator does not boot into TWRP. Trying to boot into recovery mode from within Phoenix Suite again boots the machine normally rather than in recovery mode. It's driving me nuts. Could it be a corrupt/locked bootloader? Is it something else? It seems to me that the only possible path for the bootloader is to load Android.
Is there any way to blind flash the bootloader again? It seems that this is the culprit since I can copy TWRP to nandg through the terminal emulator ("cat /extsd/recovery.img > /dev/block/nandg; sync; sync ;sync" but then again rebooting goes into android rather than recovery mode.
The tablet connects normally through USB to my PC and adb sees it properly.

I (fully) charged it, and now the touchscreen isn't working. I can get in to recovery, but i can't use it because i installed 4Ex touch, but the touchscreen isn't working.
I do can still access it from the pc, but i don't know what i can do now to fix it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEarlier my phone was playing Pandora and acting fine, but I couldn't unlock it because the touch screen wasn't responding. I had just came in from the rain and my fingertips were a little wet, so I figured it wasn't registering because of that, even though it usually handles moisture on hands just fine.
After my hands wee completely dried, the phone still wouldn't respond, and all that works is the sidekeys, send, menu, and end buttons. Nothing on the screen, nor the Home, Menu, or Back buttons work. I tried removing the battery a few times, and eventually the phone wouldn't even turn back on. After trying a hard reset, it was able to turn on and finally booted up after about 10 minutes of just a SAMSUNG logo, but the screen still won't work. It turned off on it's own after a few minutes and now won't turn on again.
Are there any solutions to this, or do I have to go to Sprint and have them fix it? I have full insurance on the phone, which I assume would cover this, but I'm working all day today and won't have time to go to Sprint even if I had to until tomorrow, so I'm hoping there's something I could try here, or from the boot menu.
I have a HTC Hero 6283 from Cellularsouth and was wondering if moisture is the cause for my touchscreen not working? I've had this phone for 3 months now, but I have noticed that everytime it gets some moisture on it, the touchscreen stops working properly. View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my mini pro for 3 days now and i've experienced this problem since my first initial charge.
It seems that the touchscreen does not work once i resume from standby. The keys work and so does the keypad but the system doesn't respond when i touch the screen. At first I thought it was because the phone was charging and so it doesnt operate whilst charging. However, i've encountered this problem 4-5 times with the phone discharged. The only way i can get around this is by removing the battery and putting it back in, which restarts the phone. I don't think this is normal and i've consulted with my friend who has the same phone and claims he has no issues with it so far. So what is going on here?
2nd time- phone was on standby around 3 hours
3rd time- phone was on standby 8 hours
4th time - dont remember
5th time - 10 mins (ridiculous -.-)
Im thinking it may be a phone issue and not the battery (since all the keys work except touchscreen). Also, this DOES not happen everytime phone is on standby. It acts faulty whenever it wants which is very irritating. If anyone is experiencing the same problem pls dont hesitate to post your ideas. I love this phone very much but this problem is leaving me in doubt.
Dont know if anyone else has this problem, but during a call my touchscreen turns off, the proximity sensor stops the screen lighting up but even if i dont put the phone to my head the touchscreen stops working.
Buttons still work and i have to use them to use the dial pad. Really annoying when you are trying to navigate automated menus etc as half the time it doesnt work as they pickup too much noise from using the buttons on the front.
Is MIUI available for the novo 7 elf? Or has it been ported to it?

I dried it out and left it off. After 24hrs I turned it back on and the phone needed to reset it self, this was done. My phone has totally reset now but the screen don't work. I wonder if ne one had an major issue with their touch screen before like I had with mine. So I decided to post this little story. Let me start off with a little background info. I got my droid november 6, 5 46am central time zone. don't ask me how but the vzw dude was letting me earlier cuz I had work. I was so happy that day leaving t mobile I did love my g1 but wen I read all about the droid I felt likt I had to leave her and move on. She did do a lot for me but time tells all and it was my time go and move on.Untill two months ago (Present time I'm talking in) I realized not everyone has the bubbly keyboard. I saw friends at my unit (I'm in the army reserves) that bought the droid a couple of months after me had flat keyboards n they were bitching bout how flat it was. I agreed with them since I was woth a g1 the keyboard was a bit flat but nothing to were its such a pain, so my friend shows me his keyboard and I looked shocked played with it was like wow and I pulled my n did a side by side side comprasion and this before I saw the bubbley keyboard thread on here. So unforunately my toucscreen starting doin its own thing like it was ghost writer and spazzing out. I had no control over it this happened monday nite and I was dreading it that I will end up replacing it. But it would not let me do nothing.I couldn't go ne where on my screen it would randomly hit different icons to the point were sum times it would call my contacts. I only had control over the physical buttons. So on Tuesday during work I fought the ghost writer to let get to setting a do a system restore. First minute of the set up was ok but right wen it finish and I was on the home screen again. I was like FUDGE I don't want to replace my rare Droid. After work I replaced it, I was real pissed I had the bubbly keyboard and (something I didn't noticed untill I got my replacement) the golden plated volume side button. I miss my precious rare droid. I was soo proud to be first non employee to have the droid in houston.

How do I fix my Ainol Elf tablet? It keeps resetting and no internal storage.
Last night I installed busybox onto it. When I started it up this morning, I found it had gone and reset itself. (Goes back to default chinese language, all apps and settings gone) On top of that, it says there's 0.00 bytes of internal storage left. I can seem to install very small apps (less than a couple of megabytes) but nothing bigger than that.
Perhaps the most annoying thing is that when you restart, it resets again.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi have problem with my Novo 7 Paladin. One week ago i installed Google Maps update. After that my tablet was very strange. Sometimes when it go to sleep it won't wake up. I had to press power on again. Later that week there was some graphical glitch on screen (blinking colors). And now i can't boot at all. So i tried the SD card method to recover system. The problem is that i can't boot. Combination of keys like VOL+ and POWER or VOL+ and RESET doesn't work. Then i tried the original USB Boot Tool from Ainol. This tool doesn't work either.
USB Boot Tool
1) install correct USB drivers (press VOL+ and plug USB) select drivers from tool/drivers/4770
2) unplug USB and start USBBootTool.exe
3) press VOL- and plug USB
4) it says BOOT... please waite0% (attachment boottool.JPG)
5) after some time of waiting the error apears (attachment boottool2.JPG)
the stock rom and instructions of it? got bootloop.

View 2 Replies View RelatedBought the Ainol AX1 Quadcore Dual Sim from Aliexpress. Everything is fine on it except that it reboots every now and then. It usually happens after charging. The reboot that happens is shorter than the normal manual reboot. I'm thinking that an upgrade may work but I do not know where or how to upgrade this device. I have an Huawei G300 Android phone that informs me automatically if an upgrade is available. For this tablet, an upgrade can only be done by downloading an upgrade file and loading it manually?

Got it Friday morning and spent all day Friday and most of Saturday playing around with it. Saturday night i was fiddling with the front facing camera to see what sort of photos it took, and i hit the shutter button and then it happened!
Literally - a flash of smoke and a spark with this unforgettable sound of cracking glass. Some sort of short has caused my main speaker (the earpiece) to completely fail, the front facing camera no longer works, and there is a diagonal crack from the Sprint logo at the top right down about 1/3 of the way down the screen on the left side.
Called Best Buy, and they're going to replace it, as soon as they get more in. Oh well. Everything else works, so i'll be using a lot of speakerphone until the replacements arrive.
I bought a cheap A-13 MID of the internet and flashed a firmware for another variant common problem with these devices so i have no touchscreen and the usb has snapped of tried soldering it but was unsuccessful.
I have recovery installed but only way i can use it is through novotools but need touch screen.
So i need a way to flash firmware through sdcard on boot (Can be done, can't find guide though)
Or a script that will run reboot-recovery.sh on boot from sd or maybe emmc
Or that will run when the sd is mounted so that if i insert an sd card into the device with reboot-recovery.sh script on it it will reboot to recovery
